Weekly rate was $176. Park is located among lots of trees. The wifi hotspot was located too far away for me to use it. T-Mobile service was spotty inside the camp ground. Propane was $24. It's a nice looking place with a lot of pull thru sites. The sites are all gravel but were level. The staff is very friendly. - txtinman

Friendly people in this Mom & Pop campground. We were there just after Hurricane Michael and many sites were occupied by Floridian refugees. I was happy that the owner had contacted me to keep my reservation on, considering the special situation with the families searching a secure place while the hurricane destroyed a part of the Panhandle. The sites are mostly partly shaded and clean. Great place to visit Montgomery. - Lucette de Gagn

It was Halloween weekend - we had been getting repairs in GA so no reservation ahead of time. We were so lucky to find this campground, definitely a work in progress but what a gem! Spacious wooded nice sites. The staff was friendly gave us info about what to see in this part of the country. She took us to our spot up top. The park is quite old and the entrance roads and tarmac at the office are in need of attention. The site was a pull through, hard surface and level. Quite a few permanent residents. Adjacent to Interstate. - W Howard

This park was in the Good Sam parks book as a Good Sam park, however it is NOT a good Sam Park any longer. It is very run down, dirty with poor hook ups. We will not stay there again. - racomarley

Can you say Deliverance? Live and learn - I will never stay in a park without referring to RV Park Reviews again. This place was reviewed last in 2007 and nothing has changed. I did have 50 amp that worked fine, but there is nothing to recommend the park other than it is easy on and easy off the interstate, and there is a easy in and out diesel place outside the gate. The park was quiet, eerily so. Several mildew covered permanent trailers on either side. Close the door and turn on the AC. Glad to say good-bye. Very unfriendly dude checked us in. Stay away. Pretty trees, and the power worked, otherwise a zero. - Tiny Beast

Prior reviews tell it all. One note for prior visitors, the campsite numbers have been changed. For example our wonderful site last year was 27, this year it is 102. TV reception last year was good, this year we only got PBS. Our Verizon phone was marginal, Verizon data service OK. The rate is for Golden Age card. - rncordy

This park is now run by AWA properties and does NOT have any amenities except basic cable TV is provided (no bath house/laundry). We loved it being close to shopping yet woodsy and out of site of traffic. We lived here fulltime for nearly a year. The electric is not metered: included in the rent. There are only 2 pull through sites. Mrs Watson still lives in big house behind park. I'd highly recommend this park for someone working in the Montgomery area. - slawrence

Great overnight spot off I65. Site long enough for 35 ft coach & tow. Yes there is some hwy noise but sites are configured so that back of coach is away from interstate & if that's where your bedroom is, it helps. There also was some train noise at night but brief and distant. Excellent camp host who showed us to our site and thanked us several times for choosing her park. Good spacing between sites & satellite friendly. There were some permanent residents but all campers were neat & tidy. Would use this again for a stopover. - Beachside Baby

This park is a small park mainly for AT&T workers, so the wifi and Hotspots from AT&T were free and great. The roads were gravel as well as the sites. We were in a pull thru spot #23 and there was plenty of space to park our 5th wheel and truck. The staff was really friendly and let us stay a few hours after check out time because of a tornado watch and storm passing thru the morning we wanted to leave. - Vipermanden

This is a no frills park for sure. It is OK for a 1 night stop, not much more. All of the water spigots are below grade and flooded with water and ??. I was not going to hook up and contaminate my water system!! Easy off the highway, about a 1/2 mile. - hoefler

FYI: This park is now closed as the property has been sold to Love's truck stop. However I hear that most of the campground is moving to a new location at Exit 21. Go South 3 miles. This campground already has power and water and sewage will be going in soon. - agcaldwell

We enjoy this park when coming through. Off I-85 just east of Montgomery. Have never needed a reservation. Nice small lake and the Wi-Fi is good. No cableTV, but air reception is good and open enough to get good satellite reception. - agcaldwell
