Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $74.00
Overall Rating:

We've stayed here before a couple of times for a week during the month of October, but never in July. We needed a place to stay to get us through the July 4th holiday and there was a premium lake front site available so we booked it for the week before and the week of July 4th. The rate was $74.00 per night (before any discounts) and jumped up to $109.00 per night for the 4th thru the 7th. Both weeks were fairly booked up and full of families enjoying their vacation. There were lots of children so you had to be especially careful driving in the park even at the posted 5 mph speed limit. All the kids were well behaved and it was surprisingly quiet for the holiday weeks. We brought our bicycles and rode from the park to the State biking trails about a 1/2 mile ride through the woods. The park says they plan to upgrade the trails which really need it since they are largely sand and wood chips, but it was great having such close access to the state bike trails. The park is very convenient to the Foley Beach Express (Toll), the Wharf, restaurants, and the beaches. There is a Walmart and Rouses supermarket within a few miles. The best restaurants are in this area too IMHO (Acme Oyster House, Big Mike's Steakhouse, and Flippers). All sites are wide, long, and concrete. Very spacious. The hookups are all together and situated mid-way on the site. There is a nice picnic table too. We were lake front so we drank our coffee each morning enjoying the sunrise over the lake. We'll be back this October. We camped at Pandion Ridge Luxury RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Food: Big Mike's for ribeye (Go early when it first opens), Acme Oyster House for charbroiled oysters (If its not too hot eat on the front porch overlooking the canal), Flippers for oysters and waterfront (marina) location. Visit the town of Fairhope, AL. Buy fresh seafood from Billy's seafood.

Overall Rating:

Office staff friendly sometime, sometime not...beautiful pristine newish(2years) Park, about 3-5 miles from beach. Adult pool small, no shade, no bathroom and is away from office. Our site premium, over 4th of July price raised from $74 to $95 plus tax. No park sponsored activities over 4 th of July except two nights offering s'mores.....closer to Gulf Shores than Orange Beach. The Wharf is close off toll road south of I-10..many 5 th wheel and kids... We camped at Pandion Ridge Luxury RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

The park is beautiful, but lacks in warmth from the staff. It is not pet friendly, and we were approached a week after we arrived and accused of lying when we made our reservations that we had a husky which in their rules is an aggressive breed. We realized later their list of forbidden dogs is VERY extensive, and not realistic, but rules are rules. We would not have gone there had someone informed of this when we booked by phone. They did give us a reimbursement. Dog owners be wary of Pandion Ridge RV Resort, they are not as pet friendly as they pretend to be. We camped at Pandion Ridge Luxury RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Well appointed and Convenient to Everything. The check-in process was efficient and the staff was very friendly. We stayed in a large concrete pull-in site overlooking the water. All connections worked perfectly. The sky WAS open for satellite. They also have cable with a good selection of channels. The laundry room was spotless. There is a nice bike/walking trail that winds through the woods. We will be back. We camped at Pandion Ridge Luxury RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This location is very convenient to restaurants and the beach. Be sure to tour the USS Alabama in Battery Park in Mobile, AL and on your way back to Pandion take the scenic coastal connection and stop in beautiful Fairhope, AL on Mobile Bay. Fort Morgan is also a nice place to visit and you can take the ferry to Dauphin Island.

Best place in the area for a fifth wheel. Full hook up pull through. Staff was excellent. Melonie was welcoming and went out of her way to make our stay a good one. Pool, hot tub, community camp fire and bar b question available. Good cable tv and water was soft enough to where we did not have to hook up our water softener. We have stayed here 3 times since it opened in summer of 2017. Sites are spacious and concrete. Some of the pull thru have a slight drop off that can make unhooking your TT a bit difficult. Staff is friendly and helpful. One comment that I would have is the number of unsupervised children running around the park. We had several unsupervised teens in the pool area one night, causing havoc and placing chairs in the pool. Care must be exercised while driving thru the park as numerous children ride and run thru the park with supervision. I say this as a parent of 4 children, we dont unleash our kids once we pull in and unhook. Overall a pleasant stay. We camped at Pandion Ridge Luxury RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

By far the most "roomy" campsite that we have ever stayed in. New facility means no shade yet because the trees are still Live Oak saplings. Full hookups with new-style lighted utility pedestals. More than one dog friendly area that we saw. Wide roadways and ultra-level concrete site. Great water pressure and screaming fast WiFi. More than enough room for our coach and toad. Had a lake front lot at a very nicely landscaped resort. The lots were a very good size with plenty of room for my 36 foot motor coach and my tow vehicle. Would like to have had a grill on the lot but grills were available at the two pool sites available. The grass needed cutting and there were plenty of weeds. Watch out for the alligator in the lake. Also watch out for the spinklers on the lot. While not a concern on my lot, I saw some lots where the spinklers were close to the slideouts and sprayed them from an angle you do not expect to get rain. Overall Rating:

This park is very new and clean. Pads are cement and level with enough room for our fifth wheel and unhitched truck. There is an attached cement patio with picnic table at each site. Sites are a decent size. When we were there in early March, the park had many snowbirds still there. The park was very quiet. The 'utilities' stations were the nicest that I have seen. The restrooms were clean and well maintained. There were not many showers/stalls. This was not a problem when we were there though. Although we didn't use the laundry facilities, they looked to be clean and in good repair. We camped at Pandion Ridge Luxury RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

I loved this park. It was close to everything in Orange Beach, Foley and close enough to Fairhope for a drive over. Level concrete pads. Lots of grass but few trees. Quiet at night. Friendly neighbors on other sites. Management was responsive and friendly. Cons--- TV lineup hard to figure out. We had to leave the dachshunds at home because they did not allow a SMALL wire cage to be setup outside so the dogs could join us while we were out. That seemed overly restrictive. Many visitors had dogs on a leash walking the grounds and roads, but not allowing visitors to have dogs on the concrete in a pen did not make sense to us. We will return again to this park, however. It was super nice. We camped at Pandion Ridge Luxury RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Love The Wharf. Tanger Outlet Mall. Good eats- Gift Horse Buffet ($$) in Foley, Fishers ($$$$) in OB, GT's ($$) in OB, and Tacky Jack's ($$). Antique shopping-Foley. The toll road was worth $4.75 if pulling an RV. It was cool for the beach, but a close drive and easy access. We were there before the spring break so traffic was not bad. For adults looking for non-beach things to do, I suggest the off-season to avoid heavy traffic and LOTS of people.

Nightly rate is based on 1 month stay. True resort style park with excellent amenities including two pools, private lake, clubhouse with fitness center and organized social activities. Easy access to resort from major highways, but it is quiet at all times. Easy entry spacious sites with top notch FHU and good water pressure. Cable works great, good wifi, and satellite reception. Level, paved sites long enough for our coach and toad. Office personnel are friendly , helpful, and efficient. Great selection of restaurants, entertainment, and sightseeing in the area. An abundance of RV related businesses and services in the area provide mobile service at the resort. We have not used the bath or laundry facilities, but everything at this place is maintained well and kept clean. Daily trash pickup at each site is a nice feature. We will stay here again if vacationing in the area. We camped at Pandion Ridge Luxury RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Second stay in 6 weeks this summer. Needless to say we really enjoy this park. The sites are concrete with plenty of space. Our first stay we were on a pull-thru which was a level on the center section and slightly inclined on the ends. This caused a bit of an issue during unhitching of the trailer. The second visit during labor day weekend was in a back in site. The site was level with plenty of space. The power pedestals were lighted and lockable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The facilities were very clean (park is about 1 year old). Pool, laundry, hot tub, LP station, RV accessory store and pond are on site. Very quiet (NICE). picnic tables at all sites but no fire rings. Close proximity to The Wharf. When staying in Gulf Shores/Orange Beach we will definitely look here first. NOTE: Summer rates do not include electric. We camped at Pandion Ridge Luxury RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.
