Very clean & well maintained. All Pull thru sites. Open with no shade. Easy in & out. No picnic table at our site, not that it was a problem, but all others had one. Grass between sites. Appeared like there were some long term units, but all well kept up. Would give a higher rating, but some rules regarding pets were unreasonable... i.e. pets had to be leashed from the vehicle to trailer, even it was a distance of a few feet. Didnt even have time to get a leash on our dog or even kindly told about their rule & felt like we were being the riot act & unwelcome. Barking dog all night in space next to us would seem to be a bigger problem, but was last night there for us so just let it be. Lots of other parks around the area to pick from. We camped at Azalea Acres RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Adult Park with no children's activities. Large open field with long very level sites. Very big rig friendly. No tables but some concrete pads. Full hook ups with Wi-fi included but no cable. TV reception is fine. Very quiet with plenty of spacing between sites. No shade so summer heat would be brutal. No dog park but area is large and dogs can be walked around park without interacting with others or sites. Pizza take out place across the street and they deliver to park. Would recommend this place to any adults traveling. We will be back there again. We camped at Azalea Acres RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Skip first turn in from I-10 and take Patterson Road all the way. Much easier for large rigs and long tows. Call them as you leave I-10 and they will meet you at the gate to take you right to your site and then you can register.

Lovely park a little ways off the interstate. We were met at the entrance and escorted to our site. She suggested we get set up and then come by the office to make our payment. The sites are very spacious and have huge concrete pads. Everything was very clean and tidy. This is a snowbird destination and we were lucky to get a spot for one night. We would definitely stay there again when in the area. We camped at Azalea Acres RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a great park. We stay here 1-2 nights every spring. Made an extra trip this year for Thanksgiving, so we were in the area. Beautiful, large, open park. Lots of pull-throughs. Level concrete pads. Free wi-fi. We camped at Azalea Acres RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Well kept RV Park that is a great place to stop, when traveling or to get away from the maddening crowds. Concrete pad (although some are grass) and level site. WIFI was good!

Park is primarily for adults and the people running it were friendly.

Although we didn't use the restrooms or showers, they were very clean and nicely decorated.

Will definitely visit again! We camped at Azalea Acres RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Very clean with HUGE sites. Any size coach can be accommodated. Satellite TV reception good. Didn't use wifi. Quiet & peaceful and the people were very friendly. Garbage pick up at site but we didn't know that so had to go way across the place to the dumpsters. There are some concrete pads but they could use more as the sites are sandy and I would imagine soft when it rains. There were a couple of tricky turns for a large coach, made trickier with a bit of construction, when approaching the location but it was doable. It's a nice place that we wouldn't hesitate to stay at again. We camped at Azalea Acres RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a little pizza place acroos from the park but we didn't use it because it appeared to be closed. I think we could have called and ordered one but we weren't sure. There is some sort of petting zoo across the park for the kiddos.

Park had ask that we call when we exited interstate, and they met us at the entrance and took us directly to our site, met us with treats for our dog as well! The park is clean and very well maintained. They have sights designated for PA or Good Sam, etc., the PA sights are on grass. Others are concrete pads. The sights were level. No issues with power or water. The only issue with our site was there was quite a dip in the pull through site, that took us by surprise. But it also surprised the attendant, so it may have just happened with recent rains. It is a very nice little park, and would stay here again without hesitation! We were only here for overnight, and the pull through sites were huge. Gravel interior roads. Our rate reflects PA rate. We camped at Azalea Acres RV Park in a Motorhome.

This park is off the highway a bit but easy drive. Very long pull-thrus. Some are concrete but ours was grass. Could be a problem if it was raining. The inner roads need some work, just go slow. The hookups were good. They guide you to your site. Rate is Passport America plus $2 for a 13 year old. Would stay here again. We camped at Azalea Acres RV Park in a Motorhome.

Beautiful park like setting. Lots of room between sites. Because of the rain, I requested one of the few concrete pads (which was level). The pad is just that, it's elevated from ground level, but we had no problems getting on or off. Most sites were grass, but looked firm and would stay in one if a concrete pad was not available.

Garbage pickup was at your site every morning before 10. We camped at Azalea Acres RV Park in a Motorhome.

As others have mentioned, the Derailed Diner was fun. In Robertsdale, Mac and Jerry's is an old school diner with a great breakfast (cash only). Walmart is only a couple of miles down the road from the restaurant.

Beautiful country setting, well landscaped. Bathrooms are clean and the nicest we have seen. Very nice clubhouse as is the laundry room. The staff go out of their way to accommodate their guests. PROS-Picked the park based on others reviews. Nice park out of the way and quiet. Large grass sites, might be muddy if it was wet, some had concrete pads, not ours. Park is clean and they will pick up your propane tank at your site fill it and bring it back. Free Wi-Fi, nice walking trails

CONS-Listed as a Passport America Park, but will not allow discount in the winter months. No cable, but we could get 7 air channels. No shade.

WOULD WE STAY HERE AGAIN? Yes, but not long term, we were here four nights.

The rate is $16 per night at the PA discounted price, but the park is worth all of the $34 per night full price.

We contacted the park on the way down I-10 and made a reservation. They asked us to call once we got off the highway, we did and they met us at the gate with a golf cart and promptly escorted us to our site, we set up and then went to the office to check in. A very nice lady checked us in and they did want to see our PA card. Plenty of space for big rigs and very easy in and out. At least 40' x 100' pull thru sites.

The campground itself is wide open, level grass sites a few with concrete pads, with gravel roads, all lined up I get the sat dish signal so I am happy, the power and services are all very good.

This park is full of snow birds and does not have full timers except for the winter. The sites are spacious. For a lot of folks this is a winter destination, for ourselves it a very good 2 days stop. We camped at Azalea Acres RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

I do not think there is a lot to do in the immediate area. Closest shopping is about 20 miles down I-10 towards Mobile. We golfed but it was a 30 mile trip and did visit the Golf shores another 35 miles. The beach is beautiful white sand; if we were visiting the beach again I would search out a much closer park to stay in.

Rate reflects PA. Very accommodating with a long pull through, level site. Asked us to call as we exited I-10. When we called, they gave us great directions into their CG and met us at the entrance to guide us to our site. Very nice workampers/management.
Appearance of CG very nice. We stayed 1 night and would return for a longer stay in the future. We camped at Azalea Acres RV Park in a Motorhome.
