Stayed 3 nights, TT members with RPI membership so we paid $10 a night. Convenient to visit Battleship and beaches. We camped at Wilderness RV Park in a Motorhome.

Large work camp for families and individuals. No grass, lots of trees and if you like sand, here is the place for you. Site wasn't anywhere near level, no cable or over the air TV but I was able to connect to the internet a couple of times. Permanent residence have lots of stuff around their campers many covered with tarps and lots of vehicles which don't fit all the way out of the road. Had some difficulty maneuvering on my way out. I'll find a different camp if I'm in this area again. We camped at Wilderness RV Park in a Motorhome.

Rated as a Deluxe park by Coast to Coast? Entry and exit roads to park are in bad shape (potholes). Pool, LP gas available. No ice machine onsite. Only allow a 3'x3' mat on the site. Sites are level and spacious for the most part. No problems with the sewer or 30 amp service. WiFi service was good' The owners need to police up the permanent resident sites for all the junk they have around their homes. This could be a very nice park, but lacking in care. I will try to avoid this park in the future. We camped at Wilderness RV Park in a Motorhome.

We liked our experience here enough to stay an extra week. It's convenient to visit both Mobile and Pensacola. There were quite a few long-term campers, but they were friendly. And if you need any repairs done to your RV, you should call RV Doctor. They will do a great job at reasonable prices. The only negative are the roads, but they keep the speed down!! This park is, indeed, big rig friendly. We camped at Wilderness RV Park in a Motorhome.

Good park for an overnight stay. Our site had tree roots and was narrow but otherwise ok. Nice view of the pond. Would stay here again if traveling through. Easy to get to from I-10. We camped at Wilderness RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is one of our RPI Membership Parks. Located a couple of miles off the freeway in the country. Quiet, grassy sites with full hookups and free Wi-fi. They do have a pool and a couple of fishing ponds. Worth the short drive and a short stay while traveling through. We camped at Wilderness RV Park in a Motorhome.

The 50 amp sites were very close together but the 30 amp sites were very much more spacious. We will definitely return to this park. They had a lake where you could fish and a nice swimming pool and clubhouse. We may be returning here this winter. The laundry was also reasonably priced at $2 a load. We camped at Wilderness RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This park is great. The people are fun and friendly. The roads have all been resurfaced and and are in great shape. The pool has been relined and will be ready for great summer fun. The Laundry and bath house are in need of updateing but are on the schedule to be done. We camped at Wilderness RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

There are many things to do and see in this area. You are within about 20 miles of four Walmart's , Tanger outlet and many parks. The uss Alabama is about 25 miles from the park and many museums are in the area.

First of all it was difficult to give a totally fair rating. The days we were there the entire southern part of the US and specifically our area was under tornado watches or warnings. Not the best time to be traveling! My site was fairly level. There were full hooks ups and I had 50 amp service. The park is fairly small but seems to be well kept, although it was difficult to tell due to the thunderstorms. The roads are gravel and dirt. It appears that they are expanding. I don't think I'd stay there again but for the few days I was there it was fine. We camped at Wilderness RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Mobile is 30 minutes away and we visited the USS Alabama and USS Drum. Plan a full day to do it justice. We spent about four hours and didn't see everything. There is a diner very close by called the Derailed Diner. Fantastic food and a fun place to be.

This is our second visit to this RV park. Not much has changed in 5 years. Interior roads are rough, our site was level enough, and your neighbor could be quite close. Price reflects Coast to Coast. We probably would stay here again, however there are other choices in this area also. We camped at Wilderness RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Bath house horribly outdated and not private. There is a lot of old scrap metal, an old guard house, and very little lawn care making this campground feel neglected. Everything seems dark and dirty but could be so much more with some easy fixes. Only two washers and two dryers to serve the campground. Neighbor had target practice with several buddies for hours one evening just over the fence from us. Certainly didn't feel safe or legal. We camped at Wilderness RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is a huge property however the sites are contained to one back side. We were put in the E section of pull-thrus. Very close together. The services were easy to reach but the site was not level. Most sites are grass, we arrived after several days of rain so it was muddy. Other campers & staff were friendly. Was OK for a couple of nights stay. We camped at Wilderness RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a no frills park. Roads are rough, sites are gravel. There is some grass. Most site have a picnic table. Lots of permanent residents. Staff was friendly. Propane is available. There is a club room but it is small and dark. There is an outdoor pool. This is an OK place if you not looking for any amenities. We camped at Wilderness RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Pretty big rv park. Just passing thru, so just looking for somewhere clean and safe with a mediocre wifi. Very level site, very nice staff, better than expected wifi...we even were able to stream Netflix with a few restarts. Adding to list of stopover places, will return!!
