Aug 2018 - $15.00
An OK park. Sites are very tight. - Bmchck6
Jul 2017 - $17.00
The place is right off 231 south of Troy and makes an OK overnight stop. The sites are pull-in/back-out so we had to disconnect our tow car and then hook it back up after we backed out. We parked in a line of of about 16 to 18 RVs and looking out our window we saw large mobile homes being put in. A previous review stated something about student housing so it looks like they are in the process of converting from an RV park to just student housing. Cost was $17.00 cash not sure if that included tax or not. Didn't pick up any WiFi so doubt if they had it. - tlrpilot
Jun 2017 - $15.00
Level grass sites with good cable. No trees/shade. Mixed use with "new" mobile homes and travel trailers for lease. Well maintained and mowed. Used as a overnight stop and it was perfect for that. Would come back. - The Petersons

Feb 2019 - $38.00
This park seems to have a large percentage of permanent RVs, but is neat and well maintained. There is an 'old' section and a 'new' section. We were placed in the old section which is right next to the highway...a loud highway. So, despite running our fans/ac all night long, we got very little sleep. Perhaps if you can get a spot in the new section, it may be a bit quieter. The roads are easy to maneuver and well maintained gravel. This made for an excellent place to walk. The electricity was good. WiFi was very slow (1 Mbps at best) in our location despite a strong signal. Used our Verizon hotspot and had good coverage. The water had a strong (aka bad) taste, so use your onboard or bottled. Our spot had apparently had a 'mud' issue and they were trying get it fixed. As a result, there was a significant amount of dirt at the front of our pull through site that created quite a bump when exiting. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, but probably wouldn't stay again due to the noise. - RVhappyHere
Dec 2018 - $38.00
Large park well maintained. Easy access, right off Hwy. 231 and easy to navigate to your site as they escort you to your. We had a gravel pull thru site that was level. Great for an over night stay. Good value. - camper914
Oct 2018 - $38.00
We stayed here while at a 2 day softball tournament in Troy. I had read the reviews and it sounded like a nice place to stay. This park is very large with 2 different areas and we were escorted to our site by an employee which was good because finding the numbers on each site was very hard. Not well displayed. They put us in the area closest to the road so we had a lot of road noise. Looking around it seems like a large majority of the campers/RV's are long term or permanent. Quite a few being run down. We felt crowded in our site, could not put the awning out and stepped out of our door either into the picnic table or a bush. Bathrooms are nice and clean but they are a long way from one of the camping areas. Staff was friendly and helpful. We spent very little time there so it was an okay place to stay. If we had of gone here to spend any length of time I would have been disappointed with the site we had. Check the sized carefully when making reservations. Try and get a site further back in the park because the ones up front are close to a busy highway and you will have road noise. - VJordan

Jan 2019 - $50.00
The lower Alabama region had been getting a lot of rain, so the campground was fairly muddy and our portion of the campsite with the hookup post was not draining very well. But all in all this is a nice campground for an overnight stopover. The shower/bathroom facility was clean and has plenty of room. Be careful about the city water pressure... it is advertised as 95 psi, so you will want to regulate if necessary. - SportDawgs
Nov 2018 - $46.00
Price up 25% from last year even with koa card. Major office remodel going on. Needed rv part but none available in Ozark. 40 mile round trip for a $3.00 switch. Still a reliable stop along Rt 231. - Libby
Nov 2017 - $38.00
We liked this KOA. Check in was pleasant and the campground was neat and tidy. However, the sites were none too long and very close together. We would stay here again if in area. - JBu

Jul 2017 - $30.00
We stayed one night in this small park located at mile marker 45 on AL Rt 251. Internal roads and sites are paved and a bit narrow. That said, we had no difficulty getting into, around, and out of the park with a tow attached (45ft MH with tow). Small grass area between sites with plenty of room for slides. The park is showing its age but the sites are long and level with utilities well placed. Made a reservation with the owner and met her upon arrival. When setting up in our assigned site, we lost power at the post. She quickly responded to our call and moved us to a different site, in general very friendly and helpful. Did not use restroom facilities so cannot comment on that. Wifi surprisingly good for a small campground. No dog walk area per se but other campers were walking their dogs around the perimeter. We would return to this campground if in the area. - LvR
Jun 2017 - $30.00
A good overnight stop location. Cash or check. Several friendly long term residents. Did have washer and dryer and bath facilities but we didn't use them. - cherib
Apr 2017 - $30.00
This is a fine place for an overnight stay if you want full hook ups and wifi. We didn't try to cable. Easy, helpful check in, level site and a nearby space where we could run our dogs. There was no one next to us so it didn't feel too crowded. - janci
