FYI: This park is now closed as the property has been sold to Love's truck stop. However I hear that most of the campground is moving to a new location at Exit 21. Go South 3 miles. This campground already has power and water and sewage will be going in soon. - agcaldwell

We enjoy this park when coming through. Off I-85 just east of Montgomery. Have never needed a reservation. Nice small lake and the Wi-Fi is good. No cableTV, but air reception is good and open enough to get good satellite reception. - agcaldwell

This park seems to have a large percentage of permanent RVs, but is neat and well maintained. There is an 'old' section and a 'new' section. We were placed in the old section which is right next to the highway...a loud highway. So, despite running our fans/ac all night long, we got very little sleep. Perhaps if you can get a spot in the new section, it may be a bit quieter. The roads are easy to maneuver and well maintained gravel. This made for an excellent place to walk. The electricity was good. WiFi was very slow (1 Mbps at best) in our location despite a strong signal. Used our Verizon hotspot and had good coverage. The water had a strong (aka bad) taste, so use your onboard or bottled. Our spot had apparently had a 'mud' issue and they were trying get it fixed. As a result, there was a significant amount of dirt at the front of our pull through site that created quite a bump when exiting. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, but probably wouldn't stay again due to the noise. - RVhappyHere

Large park well maintained. Easy access, right off Hwy. 231 and easy to navigate to your site as they escort you to your. We had a gravel pull thru site that was level. Great for an over night stay. Good value. - camper914

We stayed here while at a 2 day softball tournament in Troy. I had read the reviews and it sounded like a nice place to stay. This park is very large with 2 different areas and we were escorted to our site by an employee which was good because finding the numbers on each site was very hard. Not well displayed. They put us in the area closest to the road so we had a lot of road noise. Looking around it seems like a large majority of the campers/RV's are long term or permanent. Quite a few being run down. We felt crowded in our site, could not put the awning out and stepped out of our door either into the picnic table or a bush. Bathrooms are nice and clean but they are a long way from one of the camping areas. Staff was friendly and helpful. We spent very little time there so it was an okay place to stay. If we had of gone here to spend any length of time I would have been disappointed with the site we had. Check the sized carefully when making reservations. Try and get a site further back in the park because the ones up front are close to a busy highway and you will have road noise. - VJordan
