Aug 2015 - $10.00
Easy to get to this campground with pull-through and back-in dirt sites. The pull-through are basically a parking lot but we were the only one there. No hook-ups but lots of history with the roadhouse and other support buildings in the park. It has a restaurant but we didn't eat there. We would stay here again. - dandg
Jun 2009 - $5.00
7 miles northwest of Delta Junction. Has Dump site and potable water ($5.00 fee). Basically it is a gravel parking lot, but good in a pinch. Very interesting tour right adjacent to parking lot. $5.00 campsite fee. Very quite. State owned. - planegm

This is a lovely spot. We stayed in the gravel area by the lake, which was very nice, since few people were there. On a busy weekend, sites would be extremely tight. Think parking lot. Wooded sites had more space, but no lake view, and more mosquitoes. Very nice hosts from Tennessee. Bring everything you need, especially water. No showers, water, or dump station. Extremely clean pit toilets. - Sherr
Jun 2011 - $10.00
Quartz Lake does not have any hook ups but there is a dump station. Quartz Lake is very popular among locals for fishing. We saw large catches of salmon and trout come in all weekend. It is a very busy place with boat launching being the major traffic. There are several parking lot type campsites by the lake with picnic tables and fire rings. The loop campground has gravel pads and are heavily shaded. There are also several hiking trails in the park. This is a nice spot for those of us who like being out in the woods and not afraid of not being connected to services. We enjoyed our stay. Weather was sunny and warm. People were swimming in the lake and tubing. - petendoll

Jul 2015 - $46.00
The park is not very well maintained, there are too many weeds and the price for what you get is way too high. There are a few permanent residents and they drive around the lot coming and going without slowing down. We stayed there one night and for the price had only water and electricity. There was some road noise but not too bad. The owner told us that the park is for sale, that might be the reason for not taking care of it. - nv2hogs
Jun 2015 - $45.00
Had a good stay here, easy access, right of the highway to Fairbanks, just a mile or two passed Delta Junction. Pretty clean, grass was a little high in some places but they were mowing the day we left. All utilities worked, wifi a little weak, no big problems with it. Friendly owner. Some shade and was a comfortable stop. Moose pass thru the park Stayed in a 42 ft with a towed Jeep. Would certainly stay here again. - rmartin
Aug 2014 - $45.00
This RV park has easy access from the road, plenty of pull-through sites and a variety of hook-up options. We chose the most expensive, full hook-up. Check-in was fast, didn't hear about any rules at all, and the owner was friendly. The sites are level and big rig friendly. Laundry was clean, and cheap at $1.75 to wash and $1 to dry! Verizon and AT&T worked fine. Would stay here again. - Soos

This park is in bad need of maintenance. Wonderful owner wants to sell and travel. She is a one-woman show. New 50 amp sites had piles of rocks - very unlevel. Lots of seasonal people and workers. Wifi weak. Would not stay here again. - CSM Carolyn
Jun 2019 - $45.00
Field parking with hookups. Tight turn to get out. We needed to do laundry so we picked the cg. Laundry OK. Didn't look very level but was fine. Whole place looks beat up and "poor". Office etc. a disorganized mess. - Wandering
Jul 2017 - $35.00
Basic Alaska Hwy overnight stop with hookups. Level sites on grass field, full hookups, friendly owner. Good AT&T service, and slow T-Mobile. - Ardi

Aug 2018 - $15.00
Nice little state park 11 miles off the Alaska Highway. Road is paved and well maintained (better than the AK hwy) to the park. For large rigs, do not use the middle of the camp road lots of potholes, sharp turns, and uneven road. Instead take one of the first 4 or last 3 sites (enter through the exit for the last 3). The camp road comes out next to the Clearwater lodge (excellent place for dinner or drinks). The 3 pull throughs are not good for big rigs as 2 are shared and not level and 3rd is on a steep grade. Campground is on the shore of a perfectly clear river, popular for fishing. During the day the park is quiet, gets pretty full in the evening with overnighters. local fishermen show up after 5pm and launch boats but not an issue. Really a hidden gem that could use some TLC on the camp road. - sheltieRV
Jun 2011 - $18.00
Very nice Alaska state park campground. There were clean restrooms. There were no showers, but this particular campground did not have them available. There was a very pleasant campground host couple - the kind who made you want to come back. There was a fishing river right behind the campground. We would stay here again! - Pat Eastes
Jun 2010 - $15.00
This State campground is located about 10 miles east of Delta Junction. It has 17 quiet and pretty sites located on the Delta Clearwater river. Some of the sites are waterfront. There is a campground host on site and a boat launch available. The Delta Clearwater River provides access to the Tanana and Goodpaster Rivers. The campground has clean vault toilets and hand water pumps. Grayling are found in the river, and although I could see them, they wouldn't bite on anything offered. - deepwds

Jun 2016 - $15.00
This is a simple state park along the Alaska Highway. We found that it was a good place for an overnight stay. The sites are spacious and treed. Some sites are not very level and may pose a problem leveling. The few pull through sites are wide spots in the interior road, but the rest are back in. There aren't any services here. Thee is a private airport next to the campground, but we only heard one takeoff during our stay there. We never saw a camp host our entire time there, just a few other campers. Although the park is just off of the highway, noise wasn't a problem. We enjoyed our stay here and would stay again. - Another brick in the wall
Jun 2015 - $15.00
Nice little campground just inside the city of Delta Junction. Campground host was very friendly and even came to our door one morning to let us know moose were in the area. The site was quite large and gave our dog plenty of room to relax and watch the squirrels. Only problem was the size and number of trash cans. There was only one can and it was just a large barrel. Not much disposal available for several campers. - Bobbi1948
Jun 2013 - $10.00
All spaces for RV's are back-ins and off of looped road. They are relatively level with plenty of room to maneuver. Sites have fire ring and picnic table with water spigots centrally located. Over the air TV reception available as well as cell phone service. Would stay here again. - Spikester
