We have traveled to Alaska four times and stayed at Broadway Campground twice. Easy access pull-throughs. They have power, water and sewer. I had no problem with the Wi-Fi Internet connection. Good place to overnight an the price is right. - Grandpa Frank
Jul 2014 - $25.00
Gravel parking lot next to an industrial building but it was level, had full hookups for $25. For one night, not bad. - MsLucy
Jul 2014 - $25.00
This park had nothing but the hook-ups. It is simply a place to park for the night. It is only for fully self-contained rigs. The only 'extra' is the dumpster at the end of the row. The WiFi was available but too weak to receive if not next to the office building. Very convenient and cheap. - WNC Traveler

A tidy and well-kept campground with decent sized pull-throughs. Some trees and shrubs, enough for a bit of privacy. Obviously caring owners. Super nice young man in the office. Good wifi signal, which is good since my hotspot got nuthin'. Good Verizon signal. - DolceFarNiente naturallycurly
Aug 2019 - $40.00
Excellent Alaska park. Very clean, good 30 amp, only 5 FHU sites. Showers and restrooms spotless. Owners are great and VERY accomodating. They are planning to add more sites. We stayed here three times over the course of the summer. Recommend reserving. - The2spices
Jun 2019 - $39.00
Moderately clean and well maintained. Not a bad overnight stop.
But don't stop here to do laundry, at $8.50 a load (wash and dry) it's too high.
The water pressure is so low the pump
was kicking in.
The park power appears to be "soft" no load was 116v, water heater dropped it to 114v, trying the A/C clicked the EMS out. - wetterwashington

The hosts are wonderful, and they are doing an amazing and historically important job of restoring this roadhouse and establishing a great RV campground. Check in was easy, and they escorted us to the site. Site was level and plenty long for our 38" MH plus toad. All utilities were good, and WiFi was fine but limited as is normally the case in that part of the world. This place has great potential, but it is definitely a work in progress. The setting is beautiful, with Tolsona Creek next to a few of the sites and steps away from the others. The kitchen has been under reconstruction this summer, so nothing other than chili and cornbread available. There is a a cool bar in the lodge where they can mix up a limited number of cocktails. Checkout time at 10:30 a bit early compared to the normal 11 am in most of Alaska. Yes, there's some noise from the construction but not at all intrusive. We enjoyed a peaceful day and night there before heading up the Glenn. - mtmsf
Aug 2019 - $50.00
Not quite as enamored with this place as other reviewers. The owners are very nice, but the place is definitely a work in progress. Going for the rustic look. Hard pack dirt/gravel roads and sites. Super sites are long and wide, with a couple having a creek view. Picnic table. Owner working the roads/sites, dump truck and grader, all day, circular saw cutting roofing sheets, a bit noisy and dusty. 2 restrooms look like outhouses from outside but beautiful inside. Nice creek. Utilities worked fine. No cable. Good WiFi. Verizon worked fine. About 14 miles west of town. No site #s. No laundry. - VegasVagabonds
Jul 2019 - $45.00
This campground is a perfect place to stop along the Glenn Highway. The owners go out of their way to make you feel welcome. This property was a roadhouse, established in 1940, and every night they shares the story of its history with guests at the original bar. You can order what she's cooked that day (we had chili and corn bread-yum), and have a beer while she's at it. Super interesting. A lovely creek runs at the back of the property, sites are level and well spaced--and did I mention the super clean restrooms? We liked this campground so much that we came back a second time, to break up our trip from Valdez to Tok. Just a little off the Richards Highway, but worth it. By the way, they also have rustic but comfortable cabins here, and are working on further improvements for the future (laundry room, meeting room, more restrooms, etc.) We stayed in MANY campgrounds in Alaska, this one we'll remember as a unique and enjoyable stay. - MindyCA

Very neat well cared for campground run by a nice family. 5 full hookup pull through and the rest are easy roomy back-ins. Good stopover spot. Have all you need with you! - Jeff Gannon
Jul 2018 - $32.00
We came by the road sign advertising this campground on our way to Valdez and decided to pull in for the night. What a great decision as this we were greeted by a wonderful young lady who is also raising her family here. The campground has a ton of space. The 5 pull thru sites are 50 amp hook ups and the 10 back in sites are 30 amp. The pull thru sites have a sewer hook up, but there is a dump station on site for the rest of the sites. The shower (1) is great and free with plenty of hot water. We will definitely come back if in the area again. - MINomad

Jun 2014 - $6.00
Price reflects use of Access Pass. This is a self check in campground out in the middle of nowhere between Glenallen and Valdez. There was a camp host on site but we did not see the host while we were there, We had a adequate pull thru site with no utilities. No posted generator hours. It would have been a lovely place to stay but the mosquitos were so bad that we ran from the truck to the RV. Sitting out was not possible. Did not use the bathrooms and no laundry was available. Was ok for an overnight stop. Would probably stay here again since there is really nothing else available nearby. - roadking
Aug 2013 - $6.00
Note that the rate reflects a 50% federal senior pass discount. This is a very nice Bureau Land Management (BLM) campground located along the Richardson Highway, and the price is certainly right. Note that this is federal (BLM), not state as stated by some previous reviewers. Although listed as being at Glennallen, it is actually about 30 miles north of the town. It is right along the highway, but is protected by vegetation so had only a little highway noise. The interior roads and sites are well-maintained gravel. There is a picnic table and fire pit at each campsite. It had only a few other campers when we were there. There are campground hosts, which gives a bit of added security. The hosts were friendly and helpful. Firewood is available for sale. The only water is from a hand pump and there is no dump station, so plan to arrive with fresh water and leave with waste. There are pit toilets. We had no signal on our Verizon phone or data MiFi. The vegetation is low, so we had no problem getting satellite Internet on our Hughes plan on satellite 127w. None of the sites have river views. There is a pleasant walk down to and along the Gulkana River, but do bring repellent as there are mosquitos. This is a very pleasant overnight stop along the highway. We would definitely stay here again. - TheJim
Aug 2011 - $12.00
Have camped here over my 49 years many times, launched boats here since I was a kid. I was shocked this year, when we were not allowed to park in a site and register until we were grilled by the campground host as to the reason for our stay. Husband stated he was working on a road crew in the area and I was camping out with him. We were informed the BLM parks are for road travelers, not workers or local Alaskans, and directed us to a sub-standard swampy camp site, in a bog even though the campground was empty. - Alaskan RVer

Aug 2019 - $15.00
This is probably the BEST campground in Alaska! Owner operator gives the best results and fastest response to concerns or questions. Sites were clean, flat, right next to the meandering stream flowing throughout the campground. The campground is approx .8 miles from main highway which eliminates and road noise and provides a true "wilderness" feel to the camp ground. The stream is full of rainbow. The stream is perfect for kids! areas of really shallow and slow for toddlers to small pools of 4 to 5 ft deep for older kids. Facilities are clean! $2 for wash and .50 cents for dryer. Showers have nice HOT water. The WIFI was strong and reliable throughout the park. Get groceries before you pull in and plan for at least 2 nights. If you have young kids the park offers really complete entertainment/activities for the kids on the weekends. I saw had about 4 hours of JEDI type activities. If you don't have a fishing pole rent one with a fly on it for $5 and have fun catching some fish. I cannot recommend this Park enough. - rrader55
Aug 2018 - $19.00
We stayed four nights in a 38' class A. Site was relatively level. Good stable 119VAC throughout our stay. Water tasted good but has a lot of tannin so it was brown. WiFi was free and good enough for email and downloading files but no streaming capability. Verizon MiFi worked very well but phone would only connect through WiFi calling. This is wilderness camping so don't drive down the gravel road if you are looking for 5 star entertainment! Supposed to be good grayling fishing in the creek. Dump station at the office is easy to access. NO highway noise day or night and very quiet day and night! Showers and restrooms were very clean and ample hot water was available. Top loading washing machine is $2.00 and dryers are $.50! This is a place to spend a day or two in a lounge chair watching the creek flow. After a couple months of seeing sights and driving it is nice to just unwind! - RagFtw
Jun 2018 - $34.00
Based on reviews, we decided on this campground. Rutted dirt road about 3/4 mile off highway. Have to drive over rotting, one-way bridge to dirty, unprofessional office. Laundry hasn't been cleaned this year. Washer or dryer left oil-type stains on clothes. Water at site not working. Park under "boil water order". Site on creek the best thing about this campground. - MonTex

Aug 2017 - $25.00
Glenallen is generally a place where one spends the night and moves on. This serves that purpose, nicely. Easy in. Easy out. Just water and electric are available, which is fine for $25. However. There's always a however. We came through here the second week of May and the water had not been turned on. The owner said that was because it might freeze at night, though the sign at the road advertised hookups. I'm alaskan and I call BS! THEN, you have to check out in the morning, which is when you are charged. Go figure. This is a new owner of the motel, not from Alaska, and he is the biggest jerk that I have ever met in my 30+ years of RVing. - C Rolf Milton
Jun 2015 - $35.00
This campground is basically a large parking area in front of the hotel but with full hookups and 50 amp service. It's right-off the Glenn Highway and close to the intersection of Glenn/Tok Cutoff/Richardson Highways and a great campground if you're just planning to spend the night (and I can't imagine anyone doing anything else in Glennallen). The campground is very basic but clean. No bathrooms or showers. The water is very carbonated and comes out milky but clears quickly. The surrounding area is dominated with buildings that look in poor repair but the hotel and restaurant appear quite nice, at least from the outside. There isn't a lot of road noise because there's not a lot of traffic and overall it was a pleasant night's stay. I'd stay here again if I was passing through Glennallen. - fruffiii

Can't see any reason to stay here except an overnight while on the road. Stayed Sunday of July 4th weekend and almost no one there unlike all the other places we stopped at. Poor upkeep of sites in general but restrooms were clean. Sites are good size and we got decent internet with Verizon data. Next time through (not on holiday weekend) I would just stay at one of the many free pull outs in the area and save $15. Pull thrus would be good if you have a big rig though. Oh yeah, and previous reviews are right on about the bugs. Bring DEET and preferably a headnet. - Pdxjoanne
Jul 2014 - $15.00
We didn't stay here. After our drive through, seeing some sites that hadn't been mowed, most sites not occupied, and swarms of mosquitoes, we decided it wasn't our cup of tea. We frequently stay in SRS campgrounds but not this one. - MsLucy
Jul 2014 - $15.00
Stayed here over 4th July. Expected lots more sites being used but we were one of the few. Dirt road in needs improvement badly. Pull-through sites quite adequate. Not the fault of the campground but the mosquitoes are FIERCE. Bring lots of repellent. - phyllen
