We found this campground a perfectly acceptable alternative to the much higher priced full hook up campgrounds located in Tok-we stayed in one of those higher priced campgrounds coming into Alaska. We had a pull thru fhu site. Did not use the bath house but it looked old but we did see others using it. Check in is at the Three Bears Hardware Store. If one needs to wash their RV/vehicle, there is a free wash at the local Tesoro Station with a fill up. We would stay here again. We camped at Three Bears RV Park in a Truck Camper.

The good: Cheap, spotless, nice folks, quiet, convenient to snacks, groceries, and fuel next door, sites are level, utilities work, bath house is adequate The bad: Tiny park with tiny spaces with overgrown trees along the roads and at the turn ins to the row that has full hookups. They seriously need to cut some down some trees and prune the rest. The park was built before mega coaches and enormous fifth wheels. If you have a smaller tow behind, truck camper, Class C, smaller Class A, etc and want the full hookup row you are good to go. I couldn't begin to get my 42' pusher in the full hookup slots. Even if I could I wouldn't have been able to get my slides out. I settled for partial hookups and even then I had 2' to spare front and back For what it is and within the limitations of size its a very nice place with nice people and it is cheap. We camped at Three Bears RV Park in a Motorhome.

Have stopped here several times. Yes, a bare-bones park but a real value at $28 for full hookups and my site was the most level I've found in over two months in Alaska. Right next to a convenience store and service station. It has never been even half full when I've been there. Perfect for overnight. We camped at Three Bears RV Park in a Motorhome.

Pull through site not long enough for toad, it stayed in the campground road. Tight turns for a 40' motorhome with toad. Good AT&T, No Wi-Fi, no sewer connector. Those were $5 more. We camped at Three Bears RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This is a bare-bones, basic RV park and an excellent place to spend the night on the Alaska Highway if you want a good deal. All the spots are pull-thrus. Elec & water is $23 and FHU is $28. Yeah, there are some weeds around, the pads are gravel, and you might have to do some very minor leveling, but for what I believe is about half the price of the fancier looking place across the street, I'll take Three Bears, thank you very much. The restroom/showers are older and basic but clean and bright. There is a chair or stool in both of the shower stalls and hooks on the wall with a shower curtain for privacy and another on the actual stall. There is also a well-stocked convenience store and fairly large sporting goods store and gas on the premises. There's a little building that says "office" but it wasn't open. We had to check in at the store which was fast, friendly and efficient. Some sites have picnic tables; some don't. No wi-fi (which doesn't work worth a darn at half the places that advertise it anyway), but I got four to five bars for data on Verizon. I would definitely stay again if I'm in the area. Oh, and it's just a short walk across the street to Fast Eddy's restaurant which had great food, good value, and excellent service...something we've found is very hard to find on the AK Highway. We camped at Three Bears RV Park in a Truck Camper.

Great stop for an overnight on the Alcan. Level pull through sites, some longer than others, on a grass/gravel mix. Not much shade in water/electric sites but plenty in the full hookup area. This is a small park and the sites are pretty close but room for slides and shorter awnings. Probably VERY popular during hunting season. Restaurant and bar across the street. You choose your site. We camped at Three Bears RV Park in a Motorhome.

Grocery store 1/2 mile walk, across from visitor's center. Hunting and fishing licenses, and equipment sold in store where the office is located.

Got water & electric site at a great price. Gravel pull-throughs. No Wi-Fi but a good Verizon signal. There is a sporting goods store in front with a large array of fishing & hunting gear as well as firearms. Hardly anyone in the campground--only one other besides me. This is a very good choice in Tok and I would definitely stay here again. We camped at Three Bears RV Park in a Motorhome.

This park is the closest to being priced for what you get on our trip so far. Full hookups are available and they work. Water pressure very good as was the water's taste. Restrooms were old, but well maintained and clean. We will be staying again on our way to Haines after doing the "circle tour" of Alaska. Keep in mind on the Alaska Highway the price hardly ever reflects the quality of the campground. We camped at Three Bears RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a nice little, older campground and very quiet. The sites are good sizes and not too close. The sites are behind the sporting goods store and way from most highway noise. Interior roads are tight but manageable. There is some grass and trees between some sites. A good place to stop on the way through for one or two night. We would stay here again.
