Lovely, wooded RV park with large, roomy sites. Quiet and clean. Water and electric with onsite dump station. Laundry also onsite. We stayed here arriving and leaving Alaska and will stay again when we return to the 49th state. We camped at Tundra Lodge & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

Lovely, wooded sites and each pull-through is well separated from its neighbor. More like a state park than private, and a very pleasant stop for a few days of peace and quiet. Interior roads were easy enough to navigate, but I had some difficulty getting out of our pull through site due to trees too close to the exit for our 39' motorhome and toad; had to drive through another campsite to clear the obstacles. Probably tough to get TV reception due to the trees, but my ATT hotspot got a good signal. No Verizon. We camped at Tundra Lodge & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Campground is heavily wooded with pull through sites. Much of the campground is no longer in service. There were problems with the electrical power because the campground's circuit breaker tripped over and over-their equipment needed repacked/repaired. Sewer drain was very high which made dumping difficult. Wash station was out of service with no expectation that it would be repaired any time soon. One can go to the local fuel station and get a free wash with a fill up. There is a public laundry on site and a bar. Picnic table was in terrible shape-basically unusable. Campground is way over priced in our opinion. Would not stay here again. We camped at Tundra Lodge & RV Park in a Truck Camper.

Overall Rating:

This nice family run RV park is about 5 minutes outside the center of Tok. It's quiet and woodsy with spacious sites offering lots of privacy. The restrooms were clean, and the hot showers were delicious after 2 weeks off the grid, with plenty of pressure. The park is a little dated and the site pads and picnic tables could use a refresh, but the friendly new managers are aware of this and investing in upgrades, including improving cell coverage. They were very helpful when we needed to have a spare part delivered to physical address, even when I changed our arrival date three times. There is a laundry and car wash onsite, also a lounge for a place to relax and have a drink. We loved our site, 41, which was at the end. Our view out the windows was nothing but trees. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Tundra Lodge & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Three Bears Market has a surprisingly good selection of a little bit of everything, not just groceries, and better prices than we expected. There is a superb visitor's center, and great fudge at gift shop across the highway from it, and Thai food at a food truck near visitor's center (IMPORTANT: they take cash only!). Just after the turn onto Highway 1 toward Anchorage is a turquoise food truck, Bohemian Brew, with great espresso coffee drinks.

Sites are wooded, Black Spruce, and well separated, drive thrus. Utilities are an easy reach. There are campfire pits and picnic tables. Office & attached meeting hall are clean and comfy. Pressure wash for vehicles but no soap, just hard water jet. Manager helpful and friendly. We camped at Tundra Lodge & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed in site 41 which was level and plenty long enough for our 40 foot motorhome with car. It is set back from the highway and very quiet, plenty of space between sites and a lot of trees but no problem with roads or site due to the trees. AT&T and Verizon data was only 3G, phone fine. Over the air TV was minimal and no cable. We camped at Tundra Lodge & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Sites are spacious and set among trees. Showers were clean, hot snd with drcent pressure. We had a E/W site and used the laundromat (also clean and reasonable). Finally, washed Pickup and 20ft trailer for $15. Great value, highly recommend this camp. We camped at Tundra Lodge & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This was our second stay here this summer. The first was in early July when we arrived after traveling on the Top of the World Highway. We opted for electric/water the first time at $35; this time we got full hookups for $3 more. Sites are more like national forest campgrounds with trees and good separation of sites. Staff is friendly. They have a laundry building on the grounds as well as a vehicle wash station. Picnic tables could use some care, but overall a decent place to stay. We camped at Tundra Lodge & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is a nicely laid out campground with good separation between sites with all sites in the shade. Power was fine but water system had some problems. We couldn't use the park water, like there was air leaking into the system and it wouldn't clear out. We stayed 2 nights. We camped at Tundra Lodge & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Prices in Alaska are about 30% higher than where we came from in Virginia. Campgrounds are no exception. Campground is quiet and nestled in a pine forest with adequate sized pull through lots. FHU available. Restrooms and laundry are clean and the staff is friendly. Dog friendly. There is a restaurant on site, but we did not eat there because we cook out.

A tire shop is within walking distance of the park and additional restautants are a short drive away. We liked it so much that we stayed here again on the way back from our vacation. We camped at Tundra Lodge & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Please have your tires checked and make certain you have a spares. The Alaskan Highway can be tough. The tire shop which is a short distance from the campground on the same side do good work. Trailer tires are hard to find in Alaska and when you find them. They are PRICEY. Drive carefully.

Nice park on the Fairbanks side of Tok, with long level shaded gravel pull-through sites. Good utilities but Wi-Fi is only available at office. No cable but we were able to pick up one over the air channel that changes from PBS, NBC and CBS at different times of the day. Friendly owner/host. We would stay here again. We drove an hour to the Wrangell-St Elias National Park on Nabesna Road and hiked up to Rambler Mine. Beautiful uncrowded area of the park. Pickup a free CD at the visitor center before driving Nabesna. Free car/RV wash at the fuel station next to the park with fill-up.

This park doesn't get noticed since it is at the far end of Tok. This park looks a bit run down but the sites are long and spacious. There is ample space between the treed sites. Wi-Fi is accessible at the office. We will be staying here again on our way home. We camped at Tundra Lodge & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

We stayed at the campground in June and August. This campground is underutilized because it is on the other side of Tok and most travelers stop at the first campground they come to. It is very state park like only with full hookups. It is heavily treed so caution is needed when exiting the campsite. Did not use the bathhouse nor the laundry, which is used by the public. Verizon cell/MiFi worked well. Friendly owners and there is a bar on-site. They have a wash station and for a fee, you can use it as long as needed. This campground is less expensive than the others in Tok. Make sure you eat at Fast Eddy's and stay away from the local grocery as the prices are very high. A loaf of bread was over $7. We would stay here again. We camped at Tundra Lodge & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
