We visited Banff in the busy season of July, and we were SO happy to get a spot at Rundle Mountain! We have a 35-foot fifth wheel, so it can be difficult for us to find spots, especially near National Parks. Our spot at Rundle Mountain had a great firepit and even better neighbors. The showers and bathroom were private and clean. But the BEST part about this park is the location. It's so close to downtown Canmore (you could easily walk or bike!) and super accessible to get to Banff to explore. This is a great spot if you would like to be really close to a town (grocery stores, restaurants, breweries, shops, etc) and still visit the parks with ease! We camped at Rundle Mountain Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

The 30 amp power was low voltage, 105amps!, so we ran our generator. Packed in like sardines. RVs had to move to let others in! RV next door cut tree and shrub branches so he could get into the site. I cannot believe they are still in business. Walmart is a much better choice, or a roadside rest area. There's no cable, and we couldn't raise the satellite because tree branches were on our roof. Very fuzzy one channel over air. There is water, and that's the ONLY positive thing I can stay. No dump. For that you need to visit the Alberta visitor center a mile away. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. We camped at Rundle Mountain Campground in a Motorhome.

RV park of Last Resort. Hard to find. Poor signage. Narrow driveway entrance. Electricity was unusable. We will not stay there again. Cash only and parity if U.S. currency is used. We camped at Rundle Mountain Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Visit Bannf, Lake Louise, Moraine Lake. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner with outstanding view at Juniper Lodge and Bistro. View of mountains, glacier, and river from our table was outstanding.

Overall Rating:

Well, the park was overpriced. The owner/operator was a bit annoying while we were parking, getting involved when he didn't need to be and brushing off my wife's instructions. The sites were really close together and cramped. The bathrooms and showers were in need of a good cleaning as there was some black mold. They only take cash, and were out of wood when we were there. Would NOT stay here again. We camped at Rundle Mountain Campground in a Travel Trailer.
