This is a very nice city park! The park was clean, isolated, and easy access to Leduc and Edmonton. The roads leading to the park are asphalt and some asphalt in the park. All other roads are clean river stone that doesn't produce dust. Each site was spacious with well manicured lawn grass between neighbors. The showers and laundry are clean and well maintained. We had good WIFI once a connection is made. The office was stocked with salted treats and ice cream and staff friendly. There is plenty of space to walk the dogs in grass or release into the dog park. Kids can enjoy a fenced park with plenty of equipment, basket ball court/hockey practice net. An asphalt bike/walking path connects to an adjacent, isolated city park. The parking pads were long, wide and level but small river rock. We camped at Lions Campground & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Theres a spot for any kind of rv or tent here. From large 50amp spots all the way down to woodsy tenting sites. The back-in sites and pull-throughs adjacent to Range road 250 on the N.E. end are very large. RV, sitting area and truck can all be side-by-side. The site I was in was 45' long. The rate of CAD $29 was based on 31 days in August with a monthly rate. Great area for cycling and walking. The park with multi use trails adjoins this RV park. It's very quiet for the most part. Points taken off for hit-or-miss wifi and being under the flight path of the airport, however I think I prefer the occasional jet to constant highway noise. We camped at Lions Campground & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

On an overnite on way to Alaska. Stayed one night in a pull through with full hookups. Gravel space with strip of grass between us and neighbor. Good personnel at desk. Verizon week. Could not hookup to WiFi. Dish satellite did not work in Alberta but some strong channels over antenna. Under flight pattern for airport so some noise. Would stay again. We camped at Lions Campground & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Excellent Lion's campground! Rates vary by site type. We had a 30A W/E gravel back in on the north side which met our needs. The most popular sites for short termers are probably the north side 50A pull thrus which were about 70' long with 20' of grass between sites. On the park south side, the treed sites are older & well spaced with many suitable for big rigs. I saw some as long as 100'. Interior roads are easy with no tree issues. The older south side sites have an unkempt appearance as the tree underbrush is wild and overgrown between sites. But that adds privacy for those sites too. The back-ins looked pretty easy as the gravel road was generally 15' wide. On the far south side, they had grass back-ins for small rigs. All sites looked very level. Bike paths connect to the park at both ends and take you all over the town. Laundry was adequate. They charge $1/day per dog. Park wifi worked but was limited. Rogers had weak cell phone coverage with LTE data. My Dish Trav'ler only picked up satellite 119 despite clear skies so we're still too far north for reliable satellite. There's no cable TV but we picked up several good channels OTA from Edmonton. Family friendly with new playground & alcohol restrictions. We camped at Lions Campground & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

This park is split into two parts; one has pull-thru, full hook-up (30 or 50 amp) and the other is more treed and has only 15 amp (power only). So if you like a more rustic camp spot, you want the trees and if you want all (or most) of the amenities you can have that also. There is no pool or spa but there is a good size club house and the location is not too far from Edmonton. There is no traffic or train noise but it is on the flight path to Edmonton International which means you will hear planes. The pull through spots are large and there is a fair amount of room between them. We disconnected but only because we wanted to tour around with the truck. We have stayed here before and will again in future. We camped at Lions Campground & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

This campground has two parts - one older and shaded, the other newer and open. We stayed in the new section where access is very good for big rigs. In general, this is a top-notch campground, well away from highway noise. The access gate adds security, and the new facilities are excellent. We didn't use the laundry, but it appears to be really good. We will probably stay here again. We camped at Lions Campground & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is located close to all shopping etc. in the city of Leduc. There are two halves to the park. The north part looks to be newer and has no trees while the south section appears older and is in the trees. Satellite service would be iffy in the trees. This is a gated and secured park, seems to be well run. Wi-Fi service is sketchy. There is no laundry facility. Sites are quite large and have fire pits at each site. In my opinion, it is somewhat overpriced for what is offered but is a decent park none the less. We were here 3 nights. We camped at Lions Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.
