This is a relatively new park comprised mostly of full time park models. The short term campers are in a separate section. The park is gated with the gate open during the day but closed at night. You need a code to get in after hours. Part is located on a hill top with great views although it gets a little windy at times. The pool and whirl pool was great. The staff friendly and accommodating. We camped at Vista Del Sol RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

This is a newer mixed use 55 & over, private ownership park, with manufactured homes and RV sites. The RV sites are for sale and rent. A previous reviewer (who obviously didn't stay there) incorrectly stated this is a class A only park. It's not. It's open to all types of RV's that are over 26' long. The office was closed when we arrived but we were sent an email with gate codes and site access information. Our site was on the bluff and had great views. All the hookups were placed for easy access, although I had trouble opening the electrical panel. I overlooked the instructions in the confirmation email I had received. The park is new, so there is no shade or much landscaping. There are lots of activities and the people including the staff were very friendly. The only downside is it can get windy but we would stay there again. We camped at Vista Del Sol RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: February, 2019 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

If this isn't the cleanest/nicest RV resort in Bullhead AZ, it comes very close. All roads are paved, 16x60 cement pads for your RV with gravel on the remaining of your site. Facilities are immaculate! There seems to be activities scheduled almost daily. A very pleasant park to stay in. But nothing is perfect. The biggest negative of staying here is the wind. It blows almost daily. Our worst was three days of winds 35 mph to 45 mph with gusts over 80 mph! We pulled in all slides and lowered the satellite antenna. Later I put 2 inch cargo tie-downs over the slide toppers and that allowed us to keep our slides out without destroying the toppers. Just about every motorhome on the north ridge of the park did this. With the constant wind it is almost impossible to leave anything outside. No chairs or rugs out because of the wind. If this type of wind and remaining indoors for days at a time troubles you then you might want to go else where. BTW, when I questioned the office about the wind when registering I got 'What winds' as their response. The water quality here in Bullhead City is extreme poor. The water department for the city claims 58/60 g or over 1000 ppm of hardness. Bring a water softner with you. I've heard you can rent them from some company in Bullhead for about $25 a month. Look at the pictures I've uploaded of my water filter. There is some type of brown substance that is trapped by the filter. It looks nasty, don't know if it is. Water pressure is another issue here. Water pressure is near 60 psi until you start using it. Pressure drops to about 10 psi, read before my water pressure regulator. After turning off the water pressure slowly raises back to 60 psi. We camped at Vista Del Sol RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: December, 2018 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

This resort was a much better experience than we hoped. We were offered a $99 weeks stay (first timers) + tax + electric. Chose this because of the great ratings for a week over Xmas. Huge concrete pads, no table, no trees, easy hook ups, back in or pull ins (no pull through). Resort is gated, clean, no junk, nice grass fenced dog area for large & small dogs, laundry has lots of w&d. The pull in sites have a beautiful view, the back in sites are very spacious. The wind was a problem and it was very cold, resort sits high up on a hill. We checked out other RV parks in the area once we arrived, this was by far the best and reasonably priced (no dog fee, free wifi, TV). Unless you want to camp next to a casino (parking lot), choose this place...you won't be sorry. Lots of snowbirds....the secret is out. We camped at Vista Del Sol RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

If you are planning a late arrival make sure you get gate code as gates close at 5pm and office is closed. All the sites are great. Dog area is NOT well lit at night so bring a flashlight (this is the only flaw we saw), lots of dog bags in the resort areas. Curb side trash pickup & trash dumpsters. Bring warm clothes if staying during the winter, the wind is cold. Safeway & Walmart near by, along with gas stations.

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $9.00
Overall Rating:

We are having a house built in Fort Mohave and needed somewhere to stay to monitor the building process. We are staying here for four months. Linda, who works in the office, offered us the Vista Del Sol 'first time' rate of $950 for four months which works out to $8.73 a day, plus electric. That rate increases for the winter months. This has to be one of the nicest and cleanest RV parks in the Laughin, NV, Bullhead City, AZ and Fort Mohave, AZ area. It's also a gated community. Typical RV parks in this area have dirt roads, dirt sites and are packed in to the max. All the Vista Del Sol interior roads are paved, sites are large with large 16 ft x 60 ft cement pads with the remaining site are covered in colored gravel. Our site was a pull-in on the north edge of this RV Park. Offering great views overlooking the valley of Laughin, NV and Bullhead City AZ. Very nice views of the electric lights at night! This RV Park is unique in that park models and RVs are in totally separate areas. There is no mixing of the two. Getting to your site is easy and so is parking your RV. One negative about this park is it's so new there is no shade. Even with outside temps approaching 110 degrees our inside temps remained in the lower 70s. Power was stable without any low voltage issues. The water is very hard, you might want to bring a softener with you. There is a very nice clubhouse area with two pools and a hot tub, wood working room, workout room, a game room with billiard tables and a meeting/dance room. The bathhouse is a combination of laundry and four private bathrooms with sink, toilet and shower. Two of those are setup for handicap with roll in showers. Both the bathrooms and laundry are exceptionally clean. There is free WiFi throughout the park. We have our own unlimited data plan and did not use it. There are previous comments about the wind being bad. So far we have only experienced gentle breezes which make sitting outside very comfortable. We camped at Vista Del Sol RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Stayed a week using the first timers rate. The resort is clean, well laid out and the sites are huge. The staff was friendly and helpful. Only downside is the wind. There are a few mobile RV wash businesses that use distilled water and are reasonably priced. We camped at Vista Del Sol RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Only downside was one washing business ($85.00 fee plus tip)left a lot of our coach streaked and not well wiped down. The business the resort recommended washed our friends coach and did a much better job.

Stayed there Dec 2017 thur March 2018. This is a super clean park, but BEWARE of hidden charges - $60.00/month if you have a trailer for your toys re: golf cart, motorcycle trailer, or side by side, $10.00/month to read electic meter. This all said, the WIND never stoped blowing in the 120 days we stayed there. We were only able to have our awning out about 4 hours there many days it took 2 people to push the door open because of the strong wind,OH and the water is NASTY and messes up all your plumbing. We camped at Vista Del Sol RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

Ditto what Desertboyz said. We originally were going to stay January thru March. Arrived New Years Day and the wind immediately got our attention. Went to the office the following day to register and said we need to shorten our visit to only one month wanting to see how it went. Ended up leaving the 18th of January because we were trapped in the motorhome for too many days with the slides in. Also Bull Head City leaves much to be desired as far as restaurants unless you are willing to go to Laughlin where the casinos are which isn't our thing. It's a shame because it is a beautiful park; however, if you are trapped inside you don't have much opportunity to enjoy it. We camped at Vista Del Sol RV Resort in a Motorhome.

The WIND has made too much of our stay unpleasant. The RV park, views, cleanliness, and proximity to shopping are great. But we are trapped inside once again today with half our slides closed because of 50 mph winds. It's so bad that it takes my whole body weight to open the front door. It's extremely tiresome feeling trapped by gale force winds. There's no sugarcoating it. The positive is there isn't any sand blowing. Not everyday is windy, but it's unpredictable and I wouldn't take a chance of staying here again. We camped at Vista Del Sol RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Stayed for a week on a special rate of 99.00 online special. Resort is located on a hill overlooking Bullhead and Laughlin, a mix of RV'S and homes, great wi-fi, laundry 2.00 to wash, 1.50 to dry, 40 odd channel cable worked well. Some sites are long concrete pads for back-ins or pull-thrus, Pull-ins also available. Clean, quiet, well landscaped, gated entry, a nice resort to stay at, would stay again. This is a 55+ RV/community. It is gated and secure. The grounds are immaculate with very level concrete pads and gravel landscape. The sites are tiered so you would be pressed hard not to have a decent view no matter where you were put. They escort you to your site and assist in anything that you need. This is what seems to be a new park. The sites are large and tiered so everyone has a view. Be sure to specify if you have a motorhome or fifth wheel so hopefully they can give you a site with the proper view. We had a drive in site. Nice exercise room and pools. We were here off season so there were hardly any people around. Large sites at an angle so it almost seems you are alone. The bathroom and shower room are one and there are two that are wheelchair accessible. Nice laundry. Two pickleball courts. Scheduled activities. One mile to good shopping. Easy access to Laughlin. Tips for other Campers:

New shopping centre one mile away and most other stores, ie: Safeway, Walmart etc. within five miles. Easy access to Laughlin and Oatman. It is very peaceful here and everyone in this area is very friendly. Nice change after a winter in the middle of a city.
