1 RV Park near Cameron, Arizona
Sep 2019 - $32.00
First of all the VZ map showed there would be service here and there is near the top of the hill. The signal went from 1X to 3G to 4G 1 bar to no service. 2 mornings out of the 3 the phone hotspot worked for a while. 1 morning nothing. Some texts would fail and some phone calls would drop. The sites all slope down some towards the river. Lots of activity across the street at the Cameron Trading Post. It was quiet at night even with the US 89 traffic. Most of the rv's come in for 1 night and leave the next morning. - mrracechaser

The main redeeming value of this RV park is that it is only 30 miles from the Grand Canyon. The sites were not level at all and are dirt with a few stones. The first site we tried only had 98V of power, and the utilities are set up so you need a VERY long sewer hose to dump or a long electric extension cord... There are no utilities or amenites so the price is steep for what you get. It is first come first served and we only saw about half the sites full the few nights we stayed here. - Bay Area Early retirees

This park is across the street from the trading post. We were there only three nights. The space was very small and not level at all. They don't take reservations and it's first come first serve. It's about 30 miles from The Grand Canyon. There is nothing around except about a mile away there are two gas stations and a Burger King. The restaurant at the trading post was amazing. They gift shop was amazing and there is a gallery of Native American artifacts and gifts that is amazing. The staff of many are so friendly and nice. I would stay again. I would recommend too. We had to park our truck at an angle in front of the site. The area was very quiet. Even tho we were right next to the highway, traffic was not bad. - Sheila Rosson
