Pulled in for an overnight stay on our way to Death Valley. Perfect find for an inexpensive, clean, friendly place to park for the night. Called the phone number listed on the website and the assistant manager was waiting for us. Helped us get parked, and even hooked up. You do need a 50/30 adapter which we didn't have, but they were quick to let us borrow one. We didn't check out the bathrooms but the park itself is very nicely kept. It's all gravel but that wasn't an issue for us. I'd definitely stay here again. We camped at Chloride Western RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Just under 4 miles east from highway 93 and on our left hand side. Easy entrance sign to guide us in then just parked in front of what turned out to be the laundry and followed the signage to the "office" buttons that hailed the manager or assistant manager. Pressed them both so not sure which one responded but he was personable enough and let us know that there was only dry camping available. He led us to the area set aside for that (next to the RV storage area) and stayed until we were settled. He pointed out the amenities which we were not going to use (maiden voyage, first day). Very well maintained (obviously raked and graded well) gravel roads and site once off the main road. Chickens and ducks in a large pen near the entrance. Right on the edge of the Mt Tipton Wilderness area. Lots of long timers or permanents and the ones on the southeast corner of the property blatantly disregard any instructions regarding how to enjoy and clean up after your animals. Would stay again if I had to; seems like the crew are trying to do a good job. We camped at Chloride Western RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Tiny community of Chloride has a small grocery and dry goods store. The two restaurants are both closed on Mondays.

This is a pretty small resort mostly permanent residents. If you're lucky as we were you'll get one of the few sites available. This is a very clean park the owner and manager do a super good job keeping things clean and raked. The manager is very helpful and will stay with you until you are leveled out and all hooked up. He is quite funny too. The rate is a flat rate and they like cash only. The resort is much easier to find then what a few people have said. it is simply 3 miles up the road off the main highway. The sites are somewhat small but for a quick overnight they were fine for us. We camped at Chloride Western RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a great quiet park. The manager is very helpful. The bath house is awesome. There's a place to dress after you shower that I thought was great! It's like you have your own private place. This is a small miners town. There's one grocery store. Awesome place! Thanks to the staff.. We camped at Chloride Western RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Well maintained park. I was told I would need a 50 amp adapter when I made the reservation. There is a small grassy dog area with bags provided. Roads and sited are firm packed gravel that they keep raked smooth. My site wasn't level but it worked OK. We camped at Chloride Western RV Park in a Motorhome.

Only had one site available for my reservation. All other sites had permanent rigs. Sites are close together with no room to put out an awning. Told them when making the reservation that our 5th wheel was pulled by a HDT. He said I would be able to park in front of the trailer at a 90 degrees to the trailer but upon arrival he said I would have to park the truck down the road. Not what I would call a big rig friendly park. Would not stay here again. We camped at Chloride Western RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very friendly owner who showed us the way to a non-hookup space. Nice shared fire pit area with nice fence and some trees.

Real western feeling with all the hand-made signs at the park and the restrooms. Lot spacing was nearby with sunny/open exposures. Site surface was gravel, featuring a fire ring and picnic table. We camped at Chloride Western RV Park in a Motorhome.

Friendly owner; rate is for week or more. Daily rate is $20. Older rest rooms/showers, but clean and in good condition. Short term campers are pretty crowded. 5 miles off US 93, 20 miles from Kingman. Chloride has 2 restaurants (1 with WiFi), groceries, post office, and several antique shops in walking distance. Chloride has interesting history and worth a visit. We camped at Chloride Western RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
