We were staying for two weeks. We were number 48 on overflow. We will be in dry camping for the full two weeks. Many long term in here. There were three pages of overflow and I’m guessing around 60 on list. Overflow dirt and rained heavily so lots of water everywhere. We camped at Agave Gulch FamCamp (Military FamCamp) in a Travel Trailer.

Big Dog Park but dusty. I love staying at Military Campgrounds because I feel so safe. Our Site was easy to get into and spacious. Laundry was clean and excellent machines. The AFB maps are easy to follow and the staff really works to make you feel welcome. We camped at Agave Gulch FamCamp (Military FamCamp) in a Motorhome.

This a military/DOD only campground. We have stayed here annually for the past 6 years. Level gravel sites, long enough for the longest rigs and tow vehicle. Pleasantly surprised that they have added more sites, providing E/W/S to most of the old overflow sites. One of the best campgrounds we've stayed at. We camped at Agave Gulch FamCamp (Military FamCamp) in a Motorhome.

The sites where large in the new area. The showers where okay but not as good as the old area. The laundry was good size, had eight washers and seven dryers. We will stay here again, the area has a lot to offer just outside the base. We camped at Agave Gulch FamCamp (Military FamCamp) in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This is a great RV park for those eligible to use it! 70' long, level gravel sites are nicely spaced and easy in/out. Long term sites & a few around the edges are easy back-ins while the rest are pull thru. Utilities worked fine. We arrived at the end of Oct and the park was less than half full. A week later in early Nov, we saw a lot of incoming RVs but they still had plenty of short & long term sites available. Park wifi was useless. There's no cable TV either but most sites are satellite friendly. ATT had a very strong signal while Verizon was weak at barely 1-2 bars. They give you a nice welcome package for first time visitors. Watch for burrs if you walk your dog in the sparse green areas. We camped at Agave Gulch FamCamp (Military FamCamp) in a Fifth Wheel.

This was a great campground. The area was immaculate. We watched a lady walk along the road hand sweeping gravel back onto sites. There was a laundry with 7 working washers and 8 working dryers for a dollar apiece. Campers get a large welcome packet when they check in to include doggie bags for your pet. WiFi worked very well. This was a great stay and we would definitely come here again. We camped at Agave Gulch FamCamp (Military FamCamp) in a Fifth Wheel.

As other reviewers have said, it's concrete and gravel but it's the desert. Spaces are close but well arranged and have easy access. Nicely landscaped and beautiful views of the mountains. Great people in office. Very good dog walk area. WiFi was slow but worked better than we were told it would. Will definitely stay again when in the area. Overall Rating:

The park is clean, modern and well maintained. It is a little bit of a concrete jungle, but given that, they have done the best they could with it, by way of some really nice landscaping. The customer service is outstanding. The wifi is somewhat slow, but works all throughout the park. The cell phone signal was good. There is noise from the airfield during the day, of course, but it was quiet at night. While they do not take reservations, they let you stay in the boondocking area for $9 a night until a spot opens up. There is a very fair and very efficiently managed program to move people out of boondocking into full service slots. We camped at Agave Gulch FamCamp (Military FamCamp) in a Travel Trailer.

WiFi never worked for us, but our AT&T hotspot worked fine. There is no cable, but antenna picks up plenty of channels. There is no noise from roads, trains, or planes. This is really a nice, quiet place to stay with lots to do and very close to all areas of Tucson. We camped at Agave Gulch FamCamp (Military FamCamp) in a Fifth Wheel.

One of the nicest FamCamps I've stayed at. Welcoming staff gave a very thorough introduction to the park. In addition to almost 200 full hookup sites, there is ample over-flow if needed during the winter season. Entire park is gravel. Sites are large and level and include a picnic table. Desert landscaping throughout the park and a very few trees. We camped at Agave Gulch FamCamp (Military FamCamp) in a Motorhome.

We like it here and normally don't stay in the area where sites are tight. I don't like it when I can here conversations and TV in the rig next to us. That happens often here in the busy season. We would stay in the new area next time instead of near the showers which we did for our overnight guests. This is a well-run and top notch campground and we will be back. Best park by far. Excellent dog run and dog park. Very clean showers and laundry room. Very impressed with the recycle program. Water lines seemed to have a lot of air in them, but overall wasn't that big of deal. Good location to do a lot of sight seeing. We camped at Agave Gulch FamCamp (Military FamCamp) in a Motorhome.

Very nice park. Close to commissary and PX. Large walking area with doggie bags located approximately every 75 feet. There are a few small trees but we were able to park the RV where we only go some morning sun through windshield. Laundry room was very clean and nice washer and dryers. Have both top and front load washers. We camped at Agave Gulch FamCamp (Military FamCamp) in a Motorhome.

Requires military affiliation. Level, gravel pull-through sites. Office staff friendly and professional. We had to change sites because branches from young trees would have prevented us from opening slides on one side - but not a problem. Wonderful place to stay. Easy drive to hiking and many activities. Caution: roads in Tucson City were ripped up in order to install trolley tracks. Would definitely stay here again. Overall Rating:

Nice facility especially for the price, but need to have military affiliation or sponsorship to get on post. Military jets flying overhead were a plus and add to the ambiance. Sites are pull-through and hooks-ups are easily accessible. The employee at the desk was extremely helpful, and provided excellent tourist options. There is a newer and older section of the park. We were in the older section, which has a bit more shade at the right time of the day. Generally there is no shade. Very good location to the activities available in the Tuscon area. We camped at Agave Gulch FamCamp (Military FamCamp) in a Travel Trailer.
