Nice park with majority of long term residents but a small area for overnighters. The staff is excellent and even offered to stay open late if we would arrive after their normal hours. Has a pool and hot tub but as it was in the 20's we did not go there. Nice "dog park" next to the park where you can run your pets as far as they want. Close to I-10 but without the traffic noise. There are train tracks nearby that can be heard. All in all we liked the park and will use it again when in the area. We camped at Las Colinas RV Park (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Very clean, nicely landscaped, well maintained RV park. Lots of trees, shrubs and cactus. Sites were immaculate. One of the friendliest campgrounds we have been in. Had pull through and didn't disconnect so was a bit tight turning through roads with the 40 ft. We camped at Las Colinas RV Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

This was not on our itinerary, but the place we wanted was full, so we found Las Colinas. I don't like staying at places I haven't read reviews on, but this worked out very well.
Friendly check in and escort to site. Very long, level, cement site. Some shade to be had. There's some huge cacti on some sites. Hookups worked well. The park was quiet and relaxing. Would stay again. We

The $25 rate reflected the PA rate. Pull thru site with full hookups. No cable TV. Free Wi-fi. Gravel sites with a concrete patio. No picnic table or fire pit. Although some sites did have a picnic table The sites were somewhat close together so the patio area was a little tight. There is a pool and spa that make for a relaxing afternoon. Far enough off the freeway so there was only a little highway and some train noise. Good stopover between Tucson and Phoenix. We camped at Las Colinas RV Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

My wife and I spent a week there in early October. Having spent most of my professional working career commuting to Phoenix every week, one would have thought that I would have been more aware of the "snowbird phenomena", but we arrived un-announced and with no reservation. When we realized that all the Mesa parks closed their office at 4pm, and that overnight at Walmart was a no-no, I thought we were in a world of hurt.
After getting nothing but after hours recordings everywhere else, I tried Los Colinas, and got a real person who said they had a spot. He was just getting ready to close the gate as we pulled up, and got us checked in and guided to our site.
This is a 55+ park for full timers, but they did not ask if we had any kids. I didn't see any kids during our stay, so I can't say what would have happened if we had had our grandchildren with us. I read a previous review that indicated that the sites were narrow and turns were tight. That they were, but overall they were narrow because of the concrete patios. There actually was plenty of room between sites. I found the sites to be extremely well groomed and level.
As far as service, the manager and office staff were great. They seemed genuinely glad to have us there. If there was a downside, I would say for transient campers, particularly during winter season, there is a very limited number of spaces, so if you are planning to stay here, make sure you call ahead and make reservations. Well kept park, but it is more of a trailer park than an RV park. Older park with tight turns and narrow sites. The service was very good, our 50 amp breaker blew so we had to change sites after we where completely set-up after a long drive was not good but they where so nice we just stayed cool(Roger is great). We will look for another park if in the area. We camped at Las Colinas RV Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

Great park outside of Casa Grande. Mostly snowbirds, who were very friendly, got invited to several happy hours. Adequate gravel sites, not much shade, but it's the desert! Will definitely stay here again. We camped at Las Colinas RV Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

Would have rated the park higher if not for the severe dip in front of the office. Rate reflects Passport America discount. IMO, the rate is too high for PA, it would the normal rate is $50 and it is not. Office manager was very nice, gave me directions to many services in town. Site was a pull through located close to the bathhouse. Strong Verizon 4G signal so did not use campground Wifi. I don't think we would stay here again, not worth the price. What a shock. Based on the "recent rate" and other reviews we decided to stay here. We were charged $37. *with* the Good Sam discount. While this is a well cared for park, $37 is way out of line. We were put in a site that is offset with the neighbor and our slide was within 3 feet of the other RV. Wish we would have done more research of other parks in the area. Cash only - no credit cards, so they even make more money there. We camped at Las Colinas RV Park (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.

This is the second time we have stayed at Las Colinas, and thoroughly enjoyed it again! Super courteous staff and they go out of their way to assist in getting to site and setting up all the hook-ups. Beautiful grounds, pet friendly and large sites. It is right off I-10 just before the split with I-8, and very close to all the Outlet Stores on I-10. We will be back in December and look forward to another great stay at Las Colinas RV Resort! Needed a quick place to get out of bad weather and we were half way between Phoenix and Tucson late (7PM) on a Sunday night. Went to gate and pushed call button (sign said they would answer till 8PM). A very nice older gentleman came up, opened the gate and checked us in for the night. We did a "follow me" on him right into the site. Site was small very clean gravel and perfectly groomed along with perfectly level. The entire park is the cleanest we have ever seen. Mostly long term but they have a few (8?) overnight pull throughs. Totally gate guarded at night for security. Quiet, very little noise from hiway. The only issue was no cable TV but they get all the Phoenix HD OTA stations (they have cable run to each site but the cable company hasn't run the branch line down the street outside). This really is a great stop and they fill up with snowbirds and we can see why.
For overnighters "cash or check only, no CCs) We

Great park, wonderful owners and staff and nice mixture of park models and snowbirds in their own rigs. They make sure you feel welcome and include you in activities. Other snowbirds are very friendly and try to include everyone in activities. Would definitely return if in the area. Cash or checks only, no credit cards accepted. Nice pool and shuffle boards too? Not at all like the other mega resorts in the area. Everybody knows eCh other and there is no extra fees for everything. Verizon 4G service is very robust at the CG. When I entered the park's address into our Garmin GPS it took us to the Speedco on the other side of I-10. When I mentioned it to the desk staff at check-in, she said, "You must have a Garmin GPS. We hear that a lot from people with Garmin's." The park is on the north side of the freeway. Feli's Cuban Kitchen in the old part of Casa Grande was excellent. We ate dinner there twice, and all four of us had excellent appetizers and dinners each time.
