Space they assigned us was to small for our 36' Motorhome.. We spoke with management and they moved us to a different location. Spaces are Small. They have too many spaces in the little area that the Park has. Had to listen to the loud noises around. Wouldn't recommend this to anyone who likes quiet places, or spacious spaces. We camped at Flagstaff KOA in a Motorhome.

Typical KOA, all sites are close together and there are a lot of sites. Lots of trees, nice views, LOTS of kids which is why I stay at a KOA. My kids loved it here. Grounds are rustic but that’s the charm of Flagstaff. Easy access to Canyon and downtown Flagstaff is great. I would stay here again. We camped at Flagstaff KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Pulled in w/o reservations after fighting winds all day. The front desk people were friendly and said they had no room for a 5W as large as mine. (35ft) Then one said wait we had a cancellation and I would fit in that site. KOA must have lower it's standards, this is a very old park that needs some TLC. Very un level site runs up hill, two leveler blocks in front 8 in the rear, 5W steps ended up on the ground. I was not sure the levelers had enough travel even with the stack of legos. Plus was 2 dog parks, large dogs & small dogs. Typical KOA, lots of kids seemed to be enjoying them selves. We camped at Flagstaff KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

I do not like this place at all. The sites & roads are TIGHT. Can make turns OK with a 32' motor home and a toad but I wouldn't want to try anything bigger. Every thing is gravel and dirt. Taste dust in your mouth all the time. Site 81 and others I see around me are horrible. Not close to level. Driver's front wheel is 8" off the ground, power is at far end / rear of the site and I needed an extension power cord. Water is on wrong side, have to run the water hose underneath the MH. Stayed here because it is on the road we head out on in the morning. May not stay here again. We camped at Flagstaff KOA in a Motorhome.

Sites Are not level and very close together. We paid for a premium site but could not see any difference from any of the others in the park. Noisy, cluttered and no privacy. Would not recommend or stay here again. We camped at Flagstaff KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed for almost 2 weeks in one of the "super sites", nice big pull through with paver patio, bbq, fire pit & furniture. Cable & wifi very good. Laundry room was dirty, half the washers & dryers were not working & all the units needed a good cleaning. The roads were in need of paving & sites were not cleaned when people vacated. We had to ask twice for someone to weed wack the dog area as there were fox tails everywhere, they also need to do some major tree work. Dead trees and low hanging branches were an accident waiting to happen. This park is old & needs a major cleanup. It is convenient to shopping. It's a shame people don't cleanup after doing laundry or using the dog areas. They get 5 stars for emptying the trash regularly. We camped at Flagstaff KOA in a Motorhome.

An interesting park, in a nice wooded section abutting the Kachina Peaks Wilderness. Our pull thru was adequate, providing a table and fire ring. The downside? Messy. The staff make no effort of cleaning up after a 'visit'. Our site was littered with cigarette butts and various wrappers. Not good. The bathrooms were fine. If you have pooches, you will like this park. Lots of areas to walk the pooch, including trails in the adjoining wilderness area. We camped at Flagstaff KOA in a Travel Trailer.

We pulled in just before the weather changed to overnight snow and freezing. The facilities are well equipped for winter camping, though, and we felt very comfortable for our one night stay. The park is quite pretty - sites are in the midst of tall pine trees set on the slope of a hill. Our site was quite level, but that's to be expected given the wet winter. We camped at Flagstaff KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Flagstaff is a college town, so it has lots of little shops and restaurants. It is a bit of a drive to the Grand Canyon from here, but that could be done. The area is pleasantly cool in the summer, and if you are equipped for winter camping, you can stay here and ski on Mt. San Francisco.

We were looking for a nice winter park in the forest that had full connections. We were there during a couple of winter snow storms and really enjoyed it. They plowed the park early after each storm. The sites are dirt and not at all fancy. But, this was expected for a forest campground. We had Amazon ship us some things while we were there. The staff called our phone to tell us it had arrived. We left a day early to avoid an incoming snow storm and the staff refunded our last day with a smile. We will definitely be back to this campground again. The dog runs are well fenced under the forest trees - very nice. My only criticism was that some people didn't clean up after their dogs in the dog run. The campground is in the forest so expect to navigate around the trees. It reminds me of a National Forest Service campground but with full hookups. We camped at Flagstaff KOA in a Motorhome.

Easy access to US89 and I40. Dog park and showers was okay. Sites were very unlevel and roads very narrow for big rigs. Cable did not work at our site but no trouble with our satellite. WiFi was not available at our site because of the trees. We camped at Flagstaff KOA in a Travel Trailer.

I arrived after hours, I was glad to find the last pull thru site for my rig, even after pre paying.... but it had the 50amp I needed to charge my batteries, and the sewer connect to drain my tanks, sites have not been leveled, been when you working around trees and a land locked college town, you cannot hold the against the host. All in all, a great stay, considering extending. We camped at Flagstaff KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

We have stayed a couple of times at this campground and always enjoy it. OK, so the sites aren't very wide and they're not level (although within acceptable limits). But it is a really pleasant atmosphere in the woods, mostly evergreens. There is a walking trail & dog parks. There is definitely a 'summer camp' vibe. Our 5th wheel is 31 feet and I don't envy anyone getting in here with a big rig. As opposed to some reviews, our site was exactly what we reserved and we had no problems getting situated. Because of the layout and narrow roads, it would be helpful if they guided you to your site. We were in the upper back part of the campground and there was hardly any traffic noise. We camped at Flagstaff KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Typical KOA, close quarters and gravel sites. Our set was pretty unleveled. Also typical, great and friendly staff. Nice dog park, great cable TV and WiFi. They have a little food trailer (Kamp Kitchen) with some great breakfast. We had a nice patio, but way too much furniture on it. Didn’t plan to use anyway however.
