4 RV Parks near Gila Bend, Arizona
Oct 2019 - $40.00
We were forced to travel late after all day repairs. We arrived after dark (something we try to avoid) and were welcomed in. They were in the middle of upgrading the interior roads but were so very cordial and helped us navigate around and into a huge, beautiful pull thru site for the night. - full timers from Michigan
Sep 2019 - $35.00
Large Park, maybe 600 sites, all gravel and very level. Very new so power boxes and hose bibs were in great shape. Stayed here two nights a week apart while coming and going to Silver City NM. Water was good but at 110° outside, was warm out of the tap. Was able to take a shower without using any hot water. My only complaint was that there is only one place to dump trash which was next to the entrance, so if you're staying here very long, plan a long walk to get your trash out. Since we only stayed one night each time, we just stopped on the way out. Staff was very friendly and they escorted you to your site in a golf cart and helped you get in. Almost all the sites are pull through. Since this site is about 6 hours from home, we'll stay here again the next time we're heading East from San Diego. - Scott Baker

Utilities worked excellent Staff was very friendly - hotpepperkid99
Oct 2019 - $22.00
This park is no longer Passport America, but it's still a good value for the money. We got a huge site at the end of a row. It backed up to the parking area for semis, but even though there were many truckers parked there overnight, the truck noise didn't bother us or keep us awake. Staff in the Shell station are very helpful and friendly. Dish satellite TV, Verizon MiFi and AT&T cell phones all worked well here. We will definitely stay here when we come through Gila Bend again. - Bobbi1948
Apr 2019 - $12.00
Small camping area out behind the gas station. nothing fancy - just a good inexpensive place to stop overnight or stay a few days while passing through. Check in at the station first, friendly staff. Truck noise from fueling area is audible but not objectionable. - Dave from Indy
Mar 2018 - $12.00
Small campground behind the Shell Tuck stop. Great for an overnight with the Passport America rate of $12.00. We had a pull through site and we were able to keep out tow car attached. Full hookups worked fine. No showers but ultra clean restrooms at the truck stop. The campground fills up fast in season with people traveling through Arizona. There were 8 rigs dry camping next to the campground when we left early in the morning. Good place to dry camp as very few trucks seemed to be stopping here so the noise was minimal. We will stay here again in our Big Rig motorhome. - lmg
Feb 2018 - $10.00
Conveniently located just off interstate. Quiet park in the desert at Gila Bend installation. First come, first served with no reservations accepted. Osmosis system for drinking water, very open area and popular with snow birds in the winter. Also very inexpensive and a great place to stay for a short time.
First come, first served policy dictates you check in as soon as possible if sites are available. - chilkateagle

Mar 2017 - $8.00
A superb desert area for solitude, little traffic, beautiful sunsets, and some natural and human history. Would return again. - Sasquatchewan
Nov 2016 - $8.00
Beautiful views, no problems navigating the campground itself with 40' class A and towed unit. Standard self-registration. Most the spaces are equivalent, all have great views. The road in is a little bit bumpy but not bad. - The Old Fart
