Feb 2018 - $10.00
Conveniently located just off interstate. Quiet park in the desert at Gila Bend installation. First come, first served with no reservations accepted. Osmosis system for drinking water, very open area and popular with snow birds in the winter. Also very inexpensive and a great place to stay for a short time.
First come, first served policy dictates you check in as soon as possible if sites are available. - chilkateagle

Mar 2018 - $12.00
Small campground behind the Shell Tuck stop. Great for an overnight with the Passport America rate of $12.00. We had a pull through site and we were able to keep out tow car attached. Full hookups worked fine. No showers but ultra clean restrooms at the truck stop. The campground fills up fast in season with people traveling through Arizona. There were 8 rigs dry camping next to the campground when we left early in the morning. Good place to dry camp as very few trucks seemed to be stopping here so the noise was minimal. We will stay here again in our Big Rig motorhome. - lmg
Jan 2018 - $12.00
This is a small, first come/first served RV park tucked behind the Shell station. Despite the fact that it is a busy truck stop, no glamour, it is very quiet in the RV park.. We were just needing a place for the night and happened upon this. Full hookups and everything works. On gravel, not just desert dirt. Propane available. Laundry is good. There is free WiFi, but it's iffy out here in the RV area. We could get no TV reception. Cell service is good. If you are just needing a dump station, they have a free one here. $23.99 a night, but with Passport America we paid $11.99. If you are looking for Mexican yard art and such, there is plenty of it in the gift shop. And, for those who like to get weighed once in a while, there are scales to see just how overloaded we can get an RV. GPS 32.93143, -112.67275 - Max_well
Oct 2017 - $40.00
We stopped here but didn't stay. Old truck out back says "$19 a day". Went inside and the guy says it's $40 a day - that's an old sign. Absolutely NO ONE staying in the park. All gravel, run down. We left and went to a park down the street. - cincychic

This park was a 2 night stopover. We normally do not stay at KOAs unless we have to because not all are kept up. This was the only place on our way to Yuma. It was very clean, appeared to be a well managed park. No trees or huge rocks to worry about. Would be hot in summer. Gravel pull thru in the overnight area. Utilities worked well. Easy on & off I-8. Only dings really were road noise which was constant even all night, so no sleeping with windows open. And, if the wind blows from the west, you might smell the cow manure from the cattle farm off I-8. We just kept windows closed. Only other thing they could do is clean off the picnic tables between customers. Ours had oil and bird droppings all over it. My opinion is if your going to provide a table, make it a clean one for your patron. - CEB002
Dec 2018 - $38.00
This park is excellent, quick friendly check-in with escort to my site. Freshly raked level gravel site with new looking utilities. Lots of nice extras, grass dog park with water, dog bath room, driving range (just a net), putting green (carpet) spotless laundry and showers, 4X4 access gate to the desert. A bit hard to find with a tricky turn off the 85, but easy return to the 8 and onto the 10. Will be back for a longer stay. - Tahoetom
Dec 2018 - $40.00
Outstanding park with long pull throughs and wide streets. Very well maintained and landscaped. - Gunny69

Mar 2017 - $8.00
A superb desert area for solitude, little traffic, beautiful sunsets, and some natural and human history. Would return again. - Sasquatchewan
Nov 2016 - $8.00
Beautiful views, no problems navigating the campground itself with 40' class A and towed unit. Standard self-registration. Most the spaces are equivalent, all have great views. The road in is a little bit bumpy but not bad. - The Old Fart
