This is a very nice place for long term residents, but not nearly as nice for short term. The short timers are out in sites back to back in an area that used to be used for park models (now removed). This means the utilities are in an odd spot. The first site they tried to put us in had the sewer line in the middle of the site, and the manager calmly said we could just climb under the trailer to connect. We said absolutely not, and she finally put us "in the only available site". That site did not have room to park the truck which had to go into overflow area due to landscaping. The entire time we were there other sites were available including a pull through. Laundry was very nice, and the place was very quiet though. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

There's not a lot to say about this park. The roads are tight, the sites are tight and narrow. That's about it. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Motorhome.

Mountain View is not just the name of the park. The Huachuca Mountains are right in the backyard. We stayed a month at Mountain View. All sites are level with concrete patios. Laundry room was very clean. We didn't encounter any stickers in the gravel or anywhere, for that matter. The manager informed us that she and her maintenance person pulled out loads of dead or dying shrubbery over the past year. Management cares about this park and their guests. The park is set way back from the highway and very quiet. We would not hesitate to return or recommend to others. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Park is directly behind RV City which has a well stocked RV accessory store. Easy access from the park to all of the local attractions, Fort Huachuca and shopping in Sierra Vista. There is a lot to do here including two museums on Fort Huachuca (you must get a pass at the main gate), hiking and wildlife watching in the many canyons, ghost towns to visit and also historic Tombstone and Bisbee are close by.

The rate reflects the monthly rate plus the electric we used. This is a very friendly park with excellent manager. We felt included and at home from the first day. It is 20 miles from the interstate making it a quiet park with large sites that are gravel and level. The only thing to be aware the is no cable and only one true over the air TV station. To make up for this they had the best WiFi I have ever seen in a park. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This park lives up to it's name...Mountain Views. Highway noise is present if outside, inside no problem. The staff is extra ordinary, friendly and helpful don't describe the feeling of being appreciated and they were available at all hours. The maintenance man helped me with an issue on my RV without being asked, he saw me working on it and came over, introduced himself and said "what can I do to help". My only issue with this park is the WiFi, strong signal all over the park but slow internet connection. Sites are gravel and level with concrete pads for exiting your rig. Not much in the way of shade trees however apparently their is a light breeze most all the time. I'd stay here again, no questions asked. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Motorhome.

Sierra Vista for a small town has most everything that a larger city has to offer. Tombstone and Bisbee close at hand.

Stayed 3 nights to evaluate for the first time here. Very enjoyable stay. Extremely friendly staff, great WiFi. The ONLY distraction were small stickers in the grass that got in the dogs feet. Kind of hard to avoid that :-) Was in a corner lot so it was a little tight getting pulled out in the fifth-wheel. Will definitely go back. It's nearby, it's friendly, it's reasonable, it's enjoyable. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The park seems to continue to slowly deteriorate. This time, there was no Internet, and the long-term residents said there had not been any for well over a month. The manager was never in the office during office hours. The bathhouses, including laundry facilities, were very well-kept, though. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Weeds so tall I had a terrible time moving just around my 5th wheel. No one at the office the 5 times I went in. Dog park was horrible with a full bucket of waste that was there the entire 5 days I was there. Very old trailers mostly. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

I gave this RV park such a high rating because of the excellent, free, park wide internet and the low rates. We stayed for two months, and paid $300 per month, plus electric. The park has dry, sparse desert landscaping, common for all parks in the area. On windy days, dust would blow in from the surrounding scrub desert. Sites were gravel, very long but quite narrow. There were few social activities, but we did enjoy the monthly pot lucks, which were held in the cute little club house. The club house did have satellite TV, since the park had no cable, and one NBC channel only on antenna. The laundry rooms were very well maintained, and we never had to wait to do laundry. The park is small, with several long term residents, and many seasonal snow birds. Everyone was extremely pleasant and the managers were wonderful. Small, very quiet, with lots of warm Arizona sunshine is what we wanted, and what we got! There was excellent shopping about 8 miles away in Sierra Vista. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a park dedicated to those that are staying here permanently. Most of those are in very, very poor condition. Overall, the park is dusty and dirty. The "dog walk" is a dust hole and would be a mud hole if it should rain. The web page and the park pamphlet call it an adult park but there are families here with small children. We will not return to this park. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

A pleasant little park, very reasonably priced. Interior roads are paved; sites are gravel and roomy enough not to feel crowded. Bathrooms and laundry were clean and well-maintained. The park is only a block or so from a very busy highway, but traffic noise was only noticeable if the wind blew from that direction, and even then I found it tolerable. And this from someone who's quite sensitive to noise. There are buildings and a show lot full of large RV's between the park and the highway, which no doubt act as sound insulators. The Wi-Fi was inconsistent. Despite a good strong signal, the data stream was so slow at times that even simple emails timed out. This was true at all hours. The main entrance road to the park is a little easy to miss ... it's immediately past the "RV City" dealership, just a couple of blocks south of the intersection of highways 90 and 82. The park is actually in Whetstone, not Huachuca City, and there's almost nothing else there, but you're only minutes from Sierra Vista, a bustling small city. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

A basic but well-kept park, with immaculate restrooms, inexpensive laundry, friendly people, and top-notch managers. If you Google map it, as I did, you'll think it's going to be noisy, but it is not at all. It is behind an RV sales business, well off the highway, and the RVs for sale, parked thickly, block most road noise. I'm persnickety about noise, and I had no complaint at all. Sites are gravel but roads are paved. Some planned activities, including free/donation coffee every morning. For long-term visitors, there are a few rental trailers, usually taken by military contractors, but possibly available for family to stay in when they visit, which I thought was cool. We stayed here for a few days visiting friends in Sierra Vista and will definitely come back when we visit again. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Good overnight park, but we used it for a base to bird Huachuca Mountains. Ramsey, Carr and Huachuca canyons for several days. Wide open and windy. Kind of hard to see signage, so look closely! Laundry was very nice. Level site. Good Internet. No ambiance. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Motorhome.

Used Passport America this year, thus the rate. New managers now, but volunteers checked us in. Friendly and helpful. Gravel, fairly level sites. Cold here, freezing, so didn't hook up water. A nice place to stay for a few days to check out the area. Our second stay here and we'll come back. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Motorhome.
