This looks like a brand new RV park main building has a kitchen available for use, showers laundry, bathrooms, main room has ping pong table, coaches to relax on. The check in was simple and quick, we picked our own site, over looking the desert great view. No trees yet each site is a pull thru. A little bit of travel to grand Canyon but at this rate I'll drive car an hour and us this as base camp. We camped at Kaibab Paiute Band Tribal Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This is a park on the Kaibab Paiute Reservation, owned by the tribe. It met all of our key criteria. It is an all gravel park with long, mostly level (1 board max) sites, good utilities (water pressure regulator required), excellent Wi-Fi (others had issues, but we were at B6 next to transponder and no probs), modern and clean bathrooms, great like-new showers with sitting space. All FHU, mostly pull-thru, internal roads easy to navigate. Great clubhouse with full kitchen you can use. Nice grassy dog-park. Great expansive views of the hills and plains in the area. You can look around and chose your site. Great Laundry with new machines. Fantastic night sky visibility. Very reasonable priced at $25/night or $140/week. There were a few things that might be of concern to some, but were not as significant to us as the above positives. They are: 1) distance from nearest town (of any size) is about 20 miles to Kanab, Utah. 2) it can get windy on the plain, we could never put out our awning, and don't leave anything out that could blow away. 3) No trees for shade. 4) No Cable TV or OTA available. 5) no cellphone service, depending on your provider, it may be 10 miles or more to get a signal. Overall a very nice park, wonderful staff, and now on our favorites list. Use Pipe Spring National Monument as your GPS locator. The park is just ¼ mile up that same road. And don't neglect to visit the small but very interesting Monument itself. We camped at Kaibab Paiute Band Tribal Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

This campground had the flattest, gravel sites I've ever seen. The bathrooms and showers were very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was a nice sitting area with TV, books, games and places to plug in a laptop. The only downsides were it wasn't too far away from the road, so there was a bit of road noise, although probably not noticeable in a hard-sided RV, and there wasn't shade which may be an issue during the summer. All-in-all, an excellent value. We camped at Kaibab Paiute Band Tribal Campground in a Truck Camper.

We spent time here May 2019 @ $25 per night on Indian reservation. This is another gravel parking lot with RV pedestals. NO trees and NO shade. Plenty of views. Beautiful club house with very nice showers! Hosts (who get free rent) very very nice and helpful. Water taste good and pressure was good. WiFi towers cut out a lot and had to be reset the next day. WiFi worked great at club house only. Plenty of barking dogs and people walking dogs who never picked up after dogs. A staff member told me the tribe will never talk to anyone for their barking dog. No over the air or cable TV and NO telephone service. Every phone call had to be WiFi calling and it was "iffy" at best. The tent area was nice but no water or electric at tent areas. No speed limit in park and staff took full advantage. All sites pull-thru with FHU. Mostly level. No American flag displayed, no military discount and GS flag was torn and in poor shape. Many, many things to do in the area. No phone service except through WiFi. No OTA TV. We camped at Kaibab Paiute Band Tribal Campground in a Motorhome.

This campground was probably the nicest campground we visited during our 3 week trip. The people were friendly and helpful. The campground had very nice facilities, clean restrooms and showers and a great covered pavilion for visiting with other campers. Will highly recommend this to other campers. We actually stayed in the first part of June2018. We stayed 2 nights. Beautiful scenery great park. Wonderful grassy area for fur babies. I Rate: 10 in upkeep. Just a bit windy but what the heck we are full time RV. Wind doesn't discriminate. Would definitely return if going that route again. We missed the turnoff for the park the first time and had to drive an additional 15 miles before we could turn around. Make sure you turn on Pipe Streams Road, CG is about .5 mile on the right. Beautiful views, great welcome, has wifi but my ATT MIFI worked also. Lovely location, quiet, peaceful. Gravel, dirt sites. Well delineated. This place is a gem. I had to change my reservation by phone a couple of times. They were very helpful and easy to work with on the changes. Ditto on all other reviews regarding how wonderful this campground is. One suggestion if you arrive after check-in is to go ahead and park on a site then walk the half mile (there is a nice trail) or take your toad back to the Chevron. They do not assign sites and all RV sites are about 65' long. Only difference between sites is that most do not have picnic tables or fire rings, but a few do. Tips for other Campers:

Pipe Spring National Monument across the street from campground has tours of the fort on the hour. Interesting history here and a nice hike up to a great view of the area. Great signs leading to campground from the main highway. You can use Pipe Springs National Monument in your GPS as a destination.

First class!! This park is spotless with large pull thru sites. Great utilities and the best wireless we have had lately. The workers and camp hosts are great. The RV park is on the Kaibub Paiute reservation. The views are stunning and you can see the Pipe Spring National Monument from the campground. We had never heard of this Monument before but it was so interesting and the tour is only 30 minutes long with lots of good information. The RV park is so immaculate. The main building, where they take reservations, is very large. It has a kitchen they will let you use if needed and at the back of the building is a huge covered pavilion with picnic tables and two propane fire pits you can use. This building is where the bathrooms, shower and laundry room are located. They also have a DVD lending library and board games to borrow. You have a code that gets you into the back door to use these facilities. The 4 private showers are like home showers. The laundry room is great. 4 washers @ $1.75 a load and 4 dryers @ $1.75 a load with a large folding table. Again, so clean. Each tent in the tent area is separated from the next one by enough space to park a car. They have railroad tires surrounding the area where you actually put your tent with a picnic table in it and also a fire pit. There is a dog park area with real grass! There is no cell signal here. We didn't miss it since we emailed our kids and told them to do the same to us if they needed us. The restaurant about 1/4 mile away is fantastic and so reasonable. We camped at Kaibab Paiute Band Tribal Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a basic park but it is spotlessly clean with a big clubhouse that anyone can use. Internet was the best of anyplace we have stayed. Fast enough for streaming unless the Park was full. We stayed here four months as we explored the area. No cell service. Close to Zion, Bryce Canyon, and the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. Great price and half that if you have Passport America. Staff at the park were responsive to any problems and made repairs quickly. The park is on top of a hill with great views all around. The night skies were gorgeous. The campground is Dark Sky certified. We camped at Kaibab Paiute Band Tribal Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Kanab Utah is the closest shopping with lots of tour companies. Went to Peekaboo Canyon with Windows on the West Hummer Tours. You can hire a native guide if you want to hike in the reservation. Trail beside the park leads to great views north or to convenience store to the south.

Office closed early. Had to drive back down to Chevron to register and deal with a very rude & surly young lady. Mumbled something like "RV or (unintelligible). I said we have a truck camper. She sighed loudly, rolled her eyes, and in a VERY loud voice said "RV OR TENT". I answered in an even louder voice "RV" with a glare. She seemed to get the message and was slightly less surly, but I was already soured on the place. No excuse for that sort of so-called "customer service"! Many sites were marked "closed" for no apparent reason. Sites close, but I've seen worse. Reasonably level. Electricity working well despite it being in the high 90s. Didn't bother with water hookup but all looks ok. Main bldg looks nice but too hot and windy to bother going over to check it out. No picnic tables and no shade. Good wifi though, and grounds are clean. Not nearly as impressed as many of the prior posters, but at $25 FHU it's still a good value. Would probably stay again despite some drawbacks.
