Not a resort but clean and everything worked. Sites are tight...almost like camping at a fairground event. 30 amp only but we're here in the off season so that's okay. Wouldn't recommend for extended stay unless you like being really packed in a tight site. People are friendly and park is safe and clean. We camped at Colorado River Adventures/Lake Havasu Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Major drawback is very low water pressure and all sites are only 30 amp. With 90+ temp you have to manage elec use. Sites are ok, mostly level. You have to adjust how you park if you have roof mounted sat dish as trees can interfere with signal. Only one bath house. Men's has 2 toilets, 1 urinal, 2 showers and 2 sinks but always very clean. Pool is nice and over half is 7' to 5' deep. Park is not kid friendly. Nearly all picnic tables are rotted and in dire need of replacement. The one at our site was unuseable with nails stickimg up. Only 2 miles to new shopping center with a Walmart, Pennys, Dillards, Sears and other shops but many vacant units. Home Depot and Lowes very close. Staff friendly. For $10 a night it was ok for the 10 day stay. Would stay again gor overnight of short term. We camped at Colorado River Adventures/Lake Havasu Resort in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: March, 2016 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

Our overall rating is based on being members of CRA. We stayed as CRA members for 2 weeks during the snowbird months. Overall enjoyed our stay. Not close to the actual lake, however, easy to get into town to do so. Facility is well maintained and they have lots of activities for everyone to participate in. The park is split into kind of two halves. On the east side of London Bridge road, there were more seasonal sites. On the west side of London Bridge road, it was definitely CRA or C2C members, lots of moving in and out. Pool and club houses were nice and clean. Small dog runs. Staff was friendly and helpful. They accept visitor mail. No security gates, but well monitored. Rules were kept. Laundry room is open to public as well. Only 30 amp service available. Wi-fi is available, strong signal, but basically no speed, except at 3 a.m. If you have Verizon or ATT cell phones, you'll get good reception. Easy going atmosphere. We camped at Colorado River Adventures/Lake Havasu Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

This park is on the north end of the city. Easy access to shopping without all the "inner-city" traffic.

We stayed for free at this resort after listening to a brief sales pitch for Coast to Coast Properties. This particular resort is a basic, crowded parking lot. We would probably not stay here next time. Normal site rate is $50/night. We do not fish or boat, so were not interested in the water activities available. We camped at Colorado River Adventures/Lake Havasu Resort in a Motorhome.

Very nice campground with plenty of room for our 41 foot fifth wheel and F250. Laundry facility just outside of gate but plenty of machines and reasonably priced. Great location, close to shopping, movie theater and restaurants. Check in was a breeze, very friendly staff. Would stay here again. Gravel roads and sites. We camped at Colorado River Adventures/Lake Havasu Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Rate reflects Coast to Coast. Welcomed by the manager who was very friendly and helpful. The site was not quite level so we blocked up one side of our unit. Not overly roomy, but adequate. All sites are gravel, as is virtually every park in the Southwest.

Should we need to be in Lake Havasu again we would stay in the park. We camped at Colorado River Adventures/Lake Havasu Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Lake Havasu is very popular, although we feel 5 days would be adequate. We are happy that we visited the area, but no reason to return.

Wi-Fi is only if you are in clubhouse or right next to the office. Pool was really nice. Restrooms clean, but picnic table was rotted and falling apart. Laundry facility located outside the grounds in an old converted gas station. A long walk from sites. We camped at Colorado River Adventures/Lake Havasu Resort in a Motorhome.

This is a typical older park but they keep it tidy. Sights are tight together. 30 amp only but we were OK as long as we watched what we were running at one time. Low water pressure a lot of the time. Roads and sites are a fine stone so didn't blow in the incessant wind. Rate is Coast-to-Coast. The stay was fine for us for a week to check out the area but would not stay for a long time. We camped at Colorado River Adventures/Lake Havasu Resort in a Motorhome.

Park is older and sites are small, mostly back to back. Electric system is stressed to limit and kept tripping the post breaker. Moved to different site and only tripped it once, but had to keep an eye on the usage. Park is clean as are the restrooms and pool. Staff is friendly and helpful. We camped at Colorado River Adventures/Lake Havasu Resort in a Motorhome.

Rate reflects guest rate of my sister who is a member of CRA and was staying there. It is an OK park. All gravel. Never saw any grass anywhere. Some sites are small. Park is old and doesn't have 50 amp service which is hard to believe what with the Arizona heat. I was having trouble with our coach and it was going in for service on a Wednesday and we had to check out on Monday. Tried to stay 2 more days but the "rules" wouldn't allow it even though the park was only half full. Don't know that we would stay here again. We camped at Colorado River Adventures/Lake Havasu Resort in a Motorhome.

First, if you love KOA's don't stay here. KOA advertises this in their directory as a KOA, but it's only an "affiliation" to KOA and not what we, as KOA loyal campers expect. It's a private members RV park, and the folks camping there do not want KOA members - our neighbors were quite vocal about that! It is a decent park though if you are in a pinch. We camped at Colorado River Adventures/Lake Havasu Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

We were surprised to see that this park is affiliated with KOA. This apparently does not make the park ( CRA ) member too happy. As Coast to Coast members we can stay for 10.00 per night for a max of 2 weeks. A week is enough. They do have a newer section across the road that people praise but C2C members won't get assigned there. Not sure why? Pool is small but adequate. People were friendly, Wi-Fi only available in the clubhouse. They have a grass area at the entrance that could be used as a dog walk but isn't. Instead you can walk the pets in a scrub area out a barbed wire fence behind the park. It's w/i 10 miles of London Bridge and shops but that's a 1/2 day viewing. Lots of snowbirds with golf and boating aplenty. Also lots of very warm days in Oct. We camped at Colorado River Adventures/Lake Havasu Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This could be the same campground as is listed under the name Lake Havasu RV Resort, but the name of the one I am reviewing is "Lake Havasu RV Park". This park has an old section on one side of the road and a new section on the other side. We enjoyed our stay here although we would have preferred a spot in the new section. Nice clean facilities and friendly staff. Club house and pool in the new section deserves a special mention. No road noise, no trains keeping you awake at night. It's off the beaten track and still only 10 minutes from London Bridge. We would definitely come here again. We camped at Colorado River Adventures/Lake Havasu Resort in a Motorhome.
