We visited with a Class C, 25 foot RV. Our site was level, concrete, and had a large concrete area for outside the front door. The restrooms and showers are as nice as I've seen in an RV park. We spent time in the pool, which was warm and very clean. Everyone was well behaved and friendly. This site is about 10 minutes by car to the London Bridge with restaurants and boat rentals. There is a nice bike trail around the island which will also get you to the London Bridge. The staff is helpful, easy to work with, and friendly. I plan on visiting this RV resort again. Highly recommend. We camped at Islander RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Arrived on the 27 of June - was told it's a 5 star resort here in Lake Havasu. Poor internet, gravel sites. Not my idea of a 5 star resort. Have to go to office for internet. Sorry, I would not stay here again. Crowded with long term campers. Not happy here, so we are moving on. We camped at Islander RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This is a monthly stay cost. We spent the entire month of May. Best month in our opinion. Between winter and summer long term rvers. This place is one of the nicest places we have ever found. The pool is outstanding. The landscaping everywhere is wonderful. The lake itself is the best location on Havasu. The beaches, extras are well worth the slightly higher price than the other rv parks in the area. You are out on the island across the London Bridge. The canal is easy access but you are away from the city hustle. The place is kept to perfection. Large, lovely pool, beach areas. Good tv, wifi is the pits and verizon works but my data was not very good. Doable but not streamable. You can bring your boat for no extra cost. Very busy during the weekend but NO ONE around during the week. We had the pool and beaches to ourselves during the week. Would come back and stay another month but probably not convenient enough to do again. The same people come and stay for a summer or winter home. Our site was very close to the pool and a very good view of the lake. I would certainly ask for that area again. We camped at Islander RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

The area is very tourist oriented with great happy hours. The canal around the london bridge is where everyone goes on the weekend. The breweries are excellent. College street is a great value with excellent brews.

Upon arrival you must stop at a guard house were they record your info(plate #'s,make of vehicles) etc.then you can go to the office to register. The reception staff was of little help in explaining were pool, beach and shower location were. Sites are in the blazing sun with no shade whatsoever. Hookups are in a good location in the middle of the site. All sites are loose gravel with a concrete patio. There is plenty of parking with enough room for your rv,tow vehicle and more. Free wifi at your site but only for 2 hours per day. If you require more time you can either sit at the pool or front office. There is a small beach to cool off in but for such a high priced resort the lounging chairs and table could be cleaned, they are filthy. Overall a beautiful resort, when is time ,this may be our snowbird destination. We camped at Islander RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We arrived on a Saturday and there were a number of sites available. We chose a pull through where we had no one on either side. Their busy season is in the winter months. The site was huge 50 ft long by 36 ft wide. There are many areas to walk with your pets in the resort. It is laid out with a number of the sites using Park models. Most of the premium sites that have water views are taken. We did not choose a premium site because there were none available with a lake view. We used the pool and spa and they were very clean. However one pool and one spa for a place that has 500 sites is quite a load on the facility. Also as mentioned by other rvers the one trash receptacle area is ridiculous. The resort itself I believe is the best in the area however. We have stayed in nicer parks for less money. We camped at Islander RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Nice clean safe park. Site well maintained, park activities numerous and enjoyable. Staff had tendency to be gruff and not customer centric. Start3 at arrival when gate attendant barked at us for not being in correct lane to uncouple, when indeed we were in the right spot. Park is dominated by full time residents, transients are not thought of when documents are prepared to explain processes. For example, WIFI instruction directs you to a web page for service. If you want service beyond the daily 2 hour free (which was not functional as advertised), there was a phone number to call. Sadly, the WIFI company was only open M-F 9-5, and any calls for service or technical support were never answered or called back. We camped at Islander RV Resort in a Motorhome.

An excellent RV resort with first rate facilities. The staff is dedicated to seeing that every concern or request is handled. However there are two areas where improvement could be made. The first is that there is only one trash receptacle on the entire site and it can be quite a distance from your campsite. I would suggest placing bins at more locations throughout the resort. The second is the absence of adequate wifi unless you contract for service. WiFi is like cell phone service these days and few want to do without it and it is pretty much standard in quality RV resorts. We camped at Islander RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This is one of the nicest, funnest RV parks we're fortunate enough to stay in, anywhere! Check-in with a reservation is efficient and friendly. There can be no vacancies. There is a small store. The facility is meticulously clean and neat with lovely views of the desert and the lake / river. The resort is on a man-made island accessed by "London Bridge" Great areas close for walking, biking, boating, fishing, just being a desert rat. The bathrooms and showers are numerous and meticulously attended to. SiriusXm Music all tile, upscale. There are many park models, RV sites have enough room for Coach, TV or Toad plus boat or side by side. Fires in ring permitted. Nice pool. Boat ramp. Storage. The courteous staff security is really on top of every aspect of keeping this RV park proper, safe and private. Pet area / run is attended daily and has bags and disposal bin. Summer and winter the Islander takes on a slightly different complexion but always well managed, fun but not out of control. We camped at Islander RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

There are many things to do in the region as well as an assortment of fine eateries and happy hours for every taste. Great place to relax yr. round Filtered RO water dispenser located by office. Yes, water is very hard in this region. There is only one dumpster near entrance.

The resort is geared toward longer stays, we were here for 2 months. There are many park models, but everything is very nice, orderly and well kept. Decent dog area for them to use for "business". Great people in this park - both the guests and the people that work here. We camped at Islander RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We stayed for 2 months in a motorhome. This is by far the best park in the area. The sites are huge and you are well spaced from your neighbours. The facilities were immaculate and well maintained. The pool is in a beautiful setting overlooking the lake. There are a lot of rules re visitors etc, but it shows in the high overall standard of the resort.

The staff deserve a special mention, as they bent over backwards to ensure their guests were happy. Wifi was disappointing as you were limited to 60 mins/day per device. We ended up purchasing service from a local company, Wirefree.

We would stay here again. We camped at Islander RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

In our three years of travelling, this is the most we've ever paid for a campsite, so expectations were high, and we were not disappointed. Our site (Site 500) is considered a premium site, and in the future, we would select a less expensive site at Islander. We did not have a view of the lake except when driving to our site. The site was plenty spacious in both length and width. Concrete pad although, surprisingly, not as level side-to-side as you would expect (we had one tire off the ground when our system automatically levelled). Islander is considered a "resort," and I think they've earned the right call it a resort. The boat launch, swimming pool, bath/shower houses, general store and staff are very nice. There is good security....every vehicle has to check in at a security gate. There are lots of rules, but nothing too unreasonable. One rule we didn't like was that each site is limited to four visitors at a time (not counting us). That was a problem because we had family coming to Lake Havasu, and we couldn't visit at our campsite because we would be 4 people over the limit. I understand why they need this rule, but I wish it were more flexible. The daily visitor fee is reasonable. Cell service was ok, but there's no cable and we could not connect to Wifi. Lots of construction noise at 7am because they were building new permanent park models in our section. (Many park models line the road in this section.) For future visits, there are a couple of other campsites I may try that seem to have better views of Lake Havasu and may be a little less expensive, but I would not rule out staying here again. We camped at Islander RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

The actual rate including taxes worked out to be approximately $63 per night for an average pull through site. So, for a 12 night stay it was over $750. There was no weekly rate offered. Size wise, site was spacious enough, rock with a concrete slab patio clean area.

As far as wifi goes, there is 24 hour availability around office area, which includes a laundry room and library. But, at site you are limited to one hour per device. We did not have any problems with it, and actually getting used to the one hour limit was hard at first, but turned out to be fine.
There is no cable tv in the park, but we were able to rely on our antenna.
The one odd thing I found was in a park with so many spaces, there is only one garbage, which is located at the check in area. We camped at Islander RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Some sites are right on shore of the lake, which would be great, but most were taken, and of course more expensive.

Great bike trail (about 3 miles in length) across from park, goes one way (walkers go opposite way) all around island and just a short distance to London Bridge and surrounding shops and restaurants.
