I'm glad we went out of our way to stay here. The sites are of varying lengths. It's a very beautiful and unique location. Running off solar in the non-generator area, we had the misfortune of hitting the 3 unusually hot days in mid March, but we survived. ;) It doesn't help that you can't safely keep an awning out with the unpredictable winds. We loved how the natural vegetation surrounded most of the sites. I would absolutely stay here again (during the cool season). We had a good Verizon signal but could understandably pick up only one OTA channel, and it was of course Spanish-speaking. Be VERY careful when walking your dog on the loop around the campground - turn away for a second and they'll have something stuck in them! - Brad & Angela

Access to the park is good from 85. Paved road all the way in. Check in was easy as there was no one in the Kiosk. We did a self register after finding a suitable site. Parameter roads are paved and in reasonable condition. Sites are consist of a concrete parking slab with a table and self standing grill on gravel. All of the sites we looked at had a considerable slope to the front. We were able to get level but the first step to the unit was big. Landscaping is very nice given the desert setting. Site spacing is reasonable. This park is very busy. We arrived early on a week day to an almost full park. We departed about 10:00 AM and there was a line up to check in. Be aware that there are no restaurants or stores nearby. We had a quiet and relaxing stay. We paid 16.00 and feel we received good value. We would return. - Rollin Ollens

Nice campground with all pull-through sites for RVs up to 40 feet. Level and large cement pads are great with decent space between sites. Designated no-generator and generator use zones as well as tent only zones. Highway 85 can be heard from campground though throughout the daytime hours. Nice walking trail around campground and another to visitor centre. If you're a dog owner these are only two immediate trails where dogs are permitted. Washrooms cleaned once daily and shower stall available only in three washrooms. Evening programs by rangers are worthwhile. Free wifi at visitor centre and day programs as well. Sign-up shuttle tours available leaving from campground. - Sasquatchewan
