87 RV Parks near Mesa, Arizona
Jan 2018 - $45.00
This is definitely a park model resort that happens to have a few RV spaces. Within minutes of arriving, the "welcoming" guy came by, and within minutes so had most of the "neighbors". We were invited to come by to visit, but we never felt obligated. The facilities are clean and incredible, we even bought a pickleball set to take advantage of the spotless, and lighted courts. The pools are beautiful, with waterfalls adding a delightful ambiance. Fruit trees abound, and just ask to pick for free. Rates will drop dramatically as the park thins out in April...but it can sure get hot then. We loved being able to walk on a dedicated walkway to a nice Safeway food store, and a strip center with a variety of shops. Great dog park, exercise room was crowded at times...and hot. No cable on-site, but lots of digital channels. No Wi-Fi at the sites, just main public buildings. - tres gatos
Dec 2017 - $33.00
I have stayed as this beautiful park twice now. This thing is beautiful and massive. It really is more of a park model home resort and filled with tons of Snowbirds. Dont let that stop you. Plenty of places for your RV and the amenities are wonderful, the neighbors are very welcoming and friendly! Two large grocery stores, nice club house. lots of activities if you are going to stay for a few days. The sites are gravel and you have to back in but plenty of room and a cement pad for your tow vehicle. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. I will use it again on my next road trip. - RV Road Warrior
Jun 2017 - $30.00
First off, I wouldn't consider this an RV park, it's more a park model resort that allows an occasional RV to join them. We parked between 2 park models in a back-in. There are no pull throughs in this resort. It was 116 in the sun, so all we did was unhook and go to the pool...twice in the pool, which was absolutely beautiful. There are two pools and a beautiful hot tub with waterfalls. The grounds around the pool were beautiful! Water pressure was great, 50 amp service and no cable, but we got 75 channels on the antenna. We arrived on a Sunday and the office wasn't open but security told us a site to go to and said we could check-in (and out) in the morning. The office opened promptly and was very quick to process us. The rates had gone down June 1st, so with Passport America we got a rate of $23 plus resort fee and taxes, totaling $30.78. There were no trees at our site and all it was was gravel and not the easiest spot to back in to because of a post. - Ginny H
Dec 2018 - $20.00
Mega park in the heart of Mesa. Staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. This is a laid back atmosphere: kick back and relax or partake in the activities. Your choice. Only a short trip to the soon to be open Gilbert St LRT station, a great way to get into Tempe and Phoenix.
Road noise is severe in the outer sites along Lindsey (T row). When you check in, ask if they have a couple of different sites you can choose from. Try to get one away from the busy roads that run outside the park. The noise was so severe, it was hard to keep the door open during the day. Go S on Lindsey to the canal which has a long paved multi use trail (safe during day). Lock up your bikes with a "u" lock or bring them inside at night. - Todd Fogelberg
Sep 2018 - $80.00
This park has 1800 plus spots. A lot of them are park models. Stayed for several days but didn't use any facilities because we had family in the area and spent most of our time with them. Very quick and easy check in process. Escorted to the site but had a hard time backing into spot because of the very narrow roads. All interior roads are paved and this is an adult park only. Hookups quickly completed. I appreciate the guard gate at the entrance but night time when needed there wasn't a guard on duty. Satellite friendly. Verizon worked well. - Roamer on wheels
Apr 2018 - $1.00
This park is what I call a 'seasonal destination park' in that it has a very large number of events scheduled during the season (November - March). There are multiple pools, a cafe, regular happy hours in addition to crafts, billiards, and other activities intended to keep the residents busy. The park is very large and well organized. The staff & work campers were friendly and quite helpful.
Our space was very large and in good repair, however there was an overgrown citrus tree that made hooking up our electric a little prickly challenge.
Since we visited off season, it was quite laid back and there were few activities available. Please note, as Thousand Trails members, this was one of our Trails Collection 'free sites'. I only put $1 in the nightly rate because the system won't allow a zero. - Tessa & Toadee on the Road
May 2018 - $40.00
Really barren, not easy to get the motorhome around in. NOISY from the road. Would not stay again. - rayzorben
Nov 2017 - $4.00
The park staff are friendly and helpful the roads are a good width . Most of the sites will accommodate a larger rig l have red reviews of people complaining about the difficulty backing in to the sites maybe it is time to get something smaller my wife has only backed our rig in twice before had no trouble. Other complaints l have read is about the location of the site they received short timers like us know you get what is available. The residents have been friendly and accepting of us l guess you get the treatment you give. We will be returning multiple times this winter . - RandB with the Gypsy Cats
Mar 2017 - $40.00
The people working in the office and mail room are real rude? Not sure if they are French Canadian, but they do not want to answer questions or help you. Flat rude to ignore you and act like they are over worked! - fulltimer345
Nov 2017 - $40.00
Great staff. Mainly a over 55 park but the people were lovely. WIFI was good. Roads easy to get around. Neighbour was lovely. The airport wasn't to bad. On one morning at 7am there were some air force jets taking off. Good amenities. Would stay again if I was in the area. - Aussie Chums
Feb 2017 - $25.00
Wifi is non-existent in individual units. Heavy emphasis on social activity and clubs for 55 year olds who like country western. With a motorhome you may have a Harley Davidson and loud drunken parties starting up beside your bedroom window. The heated pool and hot tub and tennis courts are pristine and lovely. The library is good. The staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. - BeverleyKent
Feb 2017 - $35.00
No Wifi at all at individual sites. Very noisy partying. Cliques. Beautiful pool and tennis courts. Compulsive activities and non-stop clubs; old people afraid of being alone. Nasty 80 year olds are the majority. Glad we didn't bring the dog. - cgs1
Dec 2016 - $35.00
We stayed for three nights. Very much enjoyed this park because it was safe (gated), clean and quaint. My husband especially loved the Cowboy theme found throughout. Enjoyed the coffee and donuts get-together with the other guests. Friendly atmosphere, loved the Christmas decorations. - M Lyn
Feb 2016 - $35.00
Although the space was fine, the office manager was extremely rude. I have had a stroke and cannot speak quickly, I understand that this is frustrating to some.
The park itself was pleasant though, no issues. It is a nice atmosphere, very quaint. We stayed 2 nights but probably wouldn't go back. Customer service is important.
The space between lots is spacious, sunny and open. The lots themselves are concrete pads with a patio and picnic table. - Freedomlover
Feb 2013 - $35.00
This park is primarily for long term use. The staff was extremely friendly. They only had a couple of "back ins" when we reserved the site and only had 50 amp service. They did provide a converter so I could use my 30 amp line. This is a "gated" RV park and the gate closes at sunset. It seemed a bit pricey to me, but I am cheap. - Rick Lechner
Feb 2018 - $35.00
We stayed here during the height of season. In the whole city of Phoenix, this was the only place that was gracious enough to make room for us. We didn't plan but two days ahead, so we were lucky that they were so accommodating. The staff were exceptional and very nice. The other patrons were also super friendly and helpful. The location is quite a ways away from the better parts of town, and it sits in the middle of a vast several mile expanse of RV parks - unlike anything I've ever seen. The highways were convenient for transportation though. Our spot was difficult to back into, and required several attempts because there was a low wall directly in front of it. The neighborhood wasn't great, but they lock the gate at night with a code and the neighbors are always around. It was pretty quiet even though the park was very full. - Anthony D
Sep 2016 - $45.00
My experience was horrible. They never clean the sites. The manager sometimes was there sometimes not. The rent changed by the month and they never read the electric meter it was always estimated. - EstelleJ
Jul 2015 - $26.00
Came in on a Monday at about 4:00 PM and was directed to a site. Backed in, put slides out, hooked up electrical. No power. Went to the business operator she was gone so spoke to her son and mentioned there was no power. I was informed that some power pedestals had been shut down for the summer due to lack of customers. They don't want to pay the power company the base fee for meters that aren't being used. The operator's son wasn't sure what pedestals had power and which ones didn't. His only answer was can you wait until my Mom gets back? I advised that wouldn't work as it was hot out and I needed to get the AC on. While he told me he wasn't sure which pedestals had power, "I'm only maintenance" he said. I thought if you were truly maintenance you would know which ones had power. All he could do was get a drop light and plug it into pedestal to see if they worked. The operator told me she was heading to Texas for the week. She left the bathrooms in need of a cleaning and no toilet paper in the men's room. I've stayed here before and it wasn't bad but with this experience I won't stay here again. - allen8106
May 2015 - $20.00
I stayed here for a week while visiting with family nearby. The park has many amenities, but I only used the laundry, which was very clean and relatively new equipment. This park also has "Park Models" which are in very good shape. I am returning here for the "winter special" this year. Since this was summer and warm many of the RV sites were empty, so lots of room! Each site has a small cement patio between your RV and Vehicle. - RetiredVagabond
Dec 2011 - $17.00
The rate listed was using a monthly rate. This is the second year we stayed in this park. It is an older park that is well kept. It has a limited number of sites for large RVs. We had no problems the first year, but the management has changed its billing policies. We came in in the middle of the month and had intended to leave in the middle of the month three months later. We expected to pay a monthly rate for three months. But the park insisted that it had to charge us the weekly rate ($270 a week)for the last two weeks of our stay or we could pay the monthly rate instead which would be less than the $540 for two weeks). In any case, the result was that we would be overcharged around $270.00. We had a hard time actually getting someone to sit down and talk to us, but when we did, we received no satisfaction. We left shy of a two months stay and will not return. The management company apparently doesn't care much for the park's welfare, and the owners, whoever they are, ought to look into this. When we first arrived, our neighbors were very unhappy about their billing as well, and left earlier than intended. At that time we did not understand, really, what they were talking about. Now we do. - North Dakota
Mar 2011 - $30.00
Very nice and clean park. Great laundry room and pool. Showers are not wheelchair accessible, but management was more than accommodating and allowed us to utilize the pool shower which was wheelchair accessible. Average age of residents around 70 compared to our ages of mid fifties, that was about the only negative. All employees of the park more than helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay here again. Gated, quiet and very convenient. - cherylh
Mar 2015 - $45.00
This is an older trailer park with a few full hook up sites. Deep loose gravel makes it a bit harder to level or use the lawn chairs. Not big rig friendly, no attended office, occupied by seasonal tenants who take over running things when the manager is nowhere to be found. They do have a pool and hot tub and the grounds are neat and clean. For us, this is a last resort resort! - Beech35p
