88 RV Parks near Mesa, Arizona
Mar 2016 - $50.00
Efficient check-in by friendly ladies.
Very large park with a reasonable amount of good sized RV spots, all back-in. Pavement in the park is in very good condition.
The sites are level, but elevated above roadside and very steep over a short distance. Good assistance is given by a staff member to avoid rear bumper damage of your 5th-wheel.
The RV parking is on the gravel part of the site and there is a small concrete sitting area. No picnic table.
Many activities (possible) during the day and almost every night live music / entertainment in the main building.
Large outdoor and indoor swimming pool and very large hot tub. All very clean.
The restrooms (only situated in the main building) are clean.
There are numerous washing machines ($1.25) and dryers ($0.75) available. Own postbox offered at no charge at the post office.
One disadvantage: garbage is collected only twice a week and there is no dumpster in the park. For park model owners this will be no problem, but we had trouble storing our garbage until collection day.
Cable signal quality is reasonable and park Wi-Fi is offered by LinkNGo. One hour free per day at your site, free in the main building. Otherwise $14 per week, $30 per month.
We stayed much longer in this park than originally planned! - Bluesbirdy
Mar 2014 - $45.00
A very nice park. Lots of snow birders but good amount of RVers as well. Lots of activities and very friendly residents. Some residents reported outside pool was green but we didn't visit. Hook ups are at rear of sites so bring longer hose and/or cords. Great 'off-leash, dark park but observe no pet areas. Strict 10MPH speed limit in park--many walkers and bikes. We checked in early Sat am and gate security attendant took us to our site, helped us pull through, and asked next site resident to move their car so we had a wide berth entrance. We really appreciated the 24 hr gate security. About 1/2 mile from Hwy 60 so easy access. Accepts Good Sam only on daily rate but weekly rate beats that. More spacious than another parks down the road and would definitely stay here again. - texasgal54
Feb 2012 - $37.00
This park is mostly park models. There are only a few rows available for RV's. This is not a pet friendly park. The spaces for the pet area are at the far back of the resort. You are not allowed to walk your pet outside of this area. To walk outside of the park, you need to drive your pet through the non-pet area. They have a small dog run area. People were very friendly. Sites are a bit tight for getting into. You have to go up a 3 foot hill to get into them. Resort is convenient to flea market, shopping, and Superstition Mountains. - nanbur
Jan 2019 - $45.00
This is an RV only park. No Casitas or park models. Close to everything. Shopping, restaurants, the swap meet. - Ax hag
Jan 2019 - $30.00
This is an RV only park, no park models or casitas. It is a wonderful size that let's you meet your fellow neighbors and has a wonderful community feel. Just enough to do. Our first year, already booked for next winter. - Ax hag
Mar 2018 - $52.00
Nice clean facility. Great dog areas. Water hook up at rear on wrong side of trailer. All small gravel with concrete pad adjacent to rig. Tight parking for truck. Rate based on weekly rate. Sites are close together. No shade. S mall stones get in sandals when walking around site. I would stay there again when in the area visiting family. - h and e
Mar 2018 - $11.00
This is not a winter resort park. Many of the campers here are permanent. But they do have some sites available for short stays. We stayed one month (March) at just under $11.oo a night. A fantastic find for this time of year and this location. No pool, no amenities, but power was steady and smooth, water was cool and sweet, sewer at each site. Close to U.S. 60 (freeway) but 30 miles from downtown Phoenix. Park was very quiet with no freeway noise, no trains, no heavy trucks. Best rate I could find for just pure parking with hookups. Call ahead for availability. - John & Aleda
Jul 2018 - $40.00
The RV camp is a small, family operated undertaking. All together it is quite satisfactory. Our site was not yet vacated by the previous occupant when we arrived around 5:00 p.m. The owner/manager seemed indecisive about what to do, but when I gently but clearly said that I expected her to have the site vacated for us, she went and spoke to the previous occupants, who pulled up stakes and left. The owner/manager then went out of her way to help us get set up, including finding a place for us to put our tow dolly and helping us (a little more than needed) in leveling. The site was close enough to level so that setting up was easy, and the utility connections were convenient. The WiFi was acceptable. Many of the sites seem to have long-term occupants. - Samuel J
Apr 2016 - $38.00
Nice and shady, clean grounds, but really tight for a 45' motorhome. No specific pet area that I could find. - KNB_RSB
Mar 2016 - $38.00
Was tough to find a place in the city. Was concerned being right in the middle of the city. Safe, fairly quiet, and good water, electric and Wi-Fi. Not much highway noise. Lots of amenities nearby and lots of things to do. Make reservation in advance since they fill up. - jwhitehead
Apr 2017 - $25.00
This park is basically many permanent older units with a certain number of open spots. no pull throughs so a little tight getting my 40è 5th wheel in. The owners are super friendly, main reason I gave an overall 8 rating. Conveniently located off I10. Gravel sites with a concrete patio, very clean. - North America in 90 days
Oct 2014 - $24.00
This is a nice park with a lot of very friendly permanent residents. The sites are good size, gravel, level, clean, pretty quiet and all sites are back in only. Although cable isn't available we were able to get over fifty digital channels on antenna alone. When we were there the "WiFi" was very slow. Although they allow dogs, there are no places in the park to walk them and park rules request that you walk pets outside the park. They only accept cash or personal check. - coachman28
Apr 2010 - $27.00
I stayed here for a week looking for someplace to possibly spend the winter. It was a nice enough park and I liked the town of Apache Junction. But, I didn't like Happy Days enough to stay long-term. Lots were level and gravel. Pool and hot tub were nice. There were no activities since a lot of the snowbirds had already left. Only one shower, but I never had a problem with it being busy. Shower/bathroom was clean. Office staff was nice. It is an all 50 amp campground, but they gave me an adapter to use. WiFi worked fairly well. My biggest complaint was that I could only get 5 or 6 TV stations using the converter box, and they would fade in and out. - gottacruise
Apr 2019 - $31.00
This is a large event facility rather than a dedicated campground, but it was perfect for us except for the lack of sewer hookups. There is a waste dump on site, however. We were having procedures done at Mayo Clinic, and Westworld is centrally located between Mayo Scottsdale (9 miles) and Mayo Phoenix (7 miles) with lots of restaurants and shops within a mile or so of the facility. There seems to be little in the way of security day or night, but we had no problems and noticed others leaving their Tailgater sat dishes out on the ground even while they were away. Choose a site overlooking the polo field and you'll have a huge front lawn, ideal for dog walks (but please pick up after your dog!) In between events during the late spring and summer you'll nearly have the place to yourself, but on big weekends such as the Barrett Jackson car auction in January, the place is crazy. Restrooms and showers are available. Though we have a shower in our motorhome, we did use the showers occasionally rather than fill up our gray water tanks. The staff in the RV office were very helpful and prompt at returning calls, unlike some other parks we called. - CamJam1583
Jan 2017 - $50.00
We stayed here during Barrett Jackson. Our site was above the polo grounds. There is no sewer available, but the port a potty cleaners come by and they are easy to grab to come take of your sewer. We will stay here again. It is convenient to the auction. - Tami M
Oct 2016 - $28.00
We parked near the Polo field. There are asphalt or gravel sites throughout Westworld. All sites have water and electric but no sewer, there is a dump. - Rich622
Apr 2019 - $65.00
We travel 6 months each year all over the country but this park is the worst one we have had the displeasure of using! Over 100 sites but one single men's restroom stall. Restrooms and showers (such as they are) are filthy. Nothing but gravel and zero trees or shade yet they act like they are doing you a favor to take your money and let you stay there. As bad as the overall park is, it's nothing compared to the horrible attitudes and service. You have to practically beg to get any help from anyone in the office and getting them on the phone is a joke. - Silver Bullet
Mar 2019 - $50.00
Eagle View is an ok park in a beautiful area, but the management seems to not care about their guests. We had unexplained charges on our bill. That said, the park is good for large class A motorhomes with plenty of maneuvering space. The hot tub is small but warm, the pool appears to be unheated. Coffee and a doughnut is provided in the office daily. We did not use the laundry or bathrooms. We stayed here mainly because we needed some work done on our motorhome. - Harles
Feb 2019 - $40.00
Very clean clubhouse area, restroom, laundry, pool area. WiFi poor. Clubhouse has computers, newspaper, tv, puzzles, book exchange but closes at 5:00 - too early. Nice park for walking. Associated casino across the street. - Tennismama
Feb 2012 - $19.00
This is the second winter we have spent time at Bonita Vista. It is an older mobile home park with plenty of sites converted for use by RVs. The sites are huge, with lots of room for toads or slides. The managers/staff and residents are all very friendly and welcomed us to weekly events such as pot lucks, entertainment, pool etc. The park is on the far eastern edge of the Phoenix area, but close to Mesa and near Canyon and Saguaro lakes, lots of hiking trails and other things to do. The club house is spacious, with a library, computer room, TV area and nice showers. We enjoyed our stay here enough to come back for a second winter. - ultrastar28
Jan 2012 - $35.00
This is an older park converting many sites to new park models and RV use. Very helpful and nice people in the office, Sites are large enough for most large rigs and not difficult to get into. Plenty of activity geared a little more to the older crowd. Very friendly residents, and helpful. Pet friendly and located close to all the shopping you could desire. Very clean pool and washrooms. Has a sand golf course adjacent. We would stay there again. - redhot60
Jan 2011 - $35.00
Not a true RV-friendly park. Just an average geezer trailer park in Apache Junction. RV sites are scattered around, and you must be very careful about your hookups, and proximity to US 60 in the back, or Southern in the front. Some of the sewer caps are sideways, water can be on the patio (wrong side), electric is way back. So take a good look. Wi-Fi only works in the clubhouse. Many facilities in need of repair. Pool and spa look nice, tho concrete is cracked up. Only one usable indoor shower, ones by pool are not hot. "Computer Room" was worthless as was the "Fitness Room" (old machines not plugged in) . Monthly rate $550 is much better deal than $35 daily; not sure how we lasted 30 days here. Won't be back. - Annie's Song
Mar 2017 - $30.00
New owner knocking buildings down and cutting ALL trees down. Couldn't care less about tenants ! Owner cut dumpster pick up from twice a week to once a week. Consequently there was always a lot of garbage on the ground. Some tenants starting putting it in the laundry room trash can. Our first months rent (March) was $330, when we went to pay second month we were informed it was now $396. When we asked for 30 days notice of rent increase, that's Arizona law, we were told by owner we could leave anytime ! We left the next day ! - dandelight
Oct 2013 - $25.00
Security is cameras with infrared and the manager with his dog, Iggy. Close to a Walmart, McDonalds, and Starbucks, and 15 minutes from Mesa Swap Meet. Great laundry room. No public restrooms or showers. The roads are paved, the sites are gravel with a cement patio. Utilities are conveniently placed in relation to the RV. Water pressure is good. TV antennae pulls in enough channels for a variety of shows. Small park, trees are here, not very old though, so shade is at a minimum. - 3-4theroad
Oct 2017 - $25.00
Nice friendly neighbors. Quiet park. - Dave and Linda
Apr 2017 - $20.00
We stayed a very pleasant 2 weeks in this RV park. Everyone was very nice and we were invited to an ice cream social and dance. They also had a Sunday service although we were unable to attend. Everything was clean, owner/manager was pleasant. The site was a nice size, and everything worked. The park was clean and the appearance seemed quite good to us. We have already reserved a spot for the months of November - March to get out of the cold of the NW. It has a 1/4 mile walking track and a good fenced dog park which is a big plus for us. It is very well maintained and they are continually upgrading it which is good. This park is near shopping and not far from Phoenix if we need to pop over there. We camped at Carefree Manor RV Resort in a 37-foot motor home. - Lrphillips
Feb 2016 - $20.00
This is one of many "snow-bird" parks in Apache Junction. The park is small with paved streets and nice size level sites. This is a long term park with mostly park models. Our friends are staying here for 3 months and we visited for 4 days. The residents were friendly - the man in the office was brisk and short but accommodating. There is a charge for the wi-fi but the Verizon LTE was very strong and OTA TV was good. This park is very clean and the park models are well kept and not at all junky. This is not an overnight park but would be good for a longer stay. The rate quoted is the Passport America rate which has no restrictions. - lyzzards
