Nothing fancy but close to the train, great food and shopping. Quiet, mostly working people with some visitors. Clean, well maintained. We camped at Apache Palms RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Spaces are very tight with not much room between. Wi-Fi very poor (at 6am I had to use my cell phone hotspot to write this). Location is convenient by light rail but lots of sirens on weekend nights and is also next to an auto repair shop with associated noise. No pet area ... just pavement and gravel; dogs are not supposed to pee on trees. We camped at Apache Palms RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Experience was terrible. Spot to park was not as advertised. Had a sewer line break under our trailer and there was no offer of help to move or to cover the sewage so I would not have to wade in it to get out. No offer of any refund for remaining time, I was not staying here any longer. All they could say is "it is not our fault" I understand it does happen. Maybe a little preventive maintenence would help and also to accept a little responsibility. We camped at Apache Palms RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

There is no question this was a terrible experience for this guest and we expressed how sorry we were. The sewer line was blocked by gravel two sites away forcing the sewage to overflow under their rig. We learned of the overflow about 8 a.m. and the maintenance men promptly began assessing the situation. Since 3 sites were blocked the snake was used and after some effort the blockage was cleared and the site cleaned up by noon. This party was offered another site, but refused since they had already had to disconnect. They left and the remaining nights of their reservation were refunded. This reservation was made online with a request for a Standard Site. Since the park was very full due to Spring Training they were given a Standard Pull-thru site next to the pool with full hookups (30 amp elec. only) and no patio slab. The staff is suppose to inform all guests at the time the reservation is made if the site has any drawbacks such as no patio and next to the pool.

We needed a place for the night on our way back to Texas to visit with family and this was close to them. City RV park with permanent residents, clean and neat, excellent cable and WiFi; the shower facility was very stuffy with poor ventaliation but clean. We would stay again when in town to visit family. We camped at Apache Palms RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

The park is fine, pool and general area is kept up.

The weekday manager was turning all my mail away for weeks, every time I went to the office she would smile and say,"nope nothing today" . It ended up costing me as my bills were being paid late!! No apology what so ever.

The weekend managers are wonderful.

I understand this weekday manager is evicting longtime residents out of the park with no given reason. I will look elsewhere next time I am in AZ.Too much DRAMA with this one. We camped at Apache Palms RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

I am the owner of this RV Park and am very confused by this review. I just received notice of this and yet it says it was submitted on August 14, 2016. Our records show no one by this name staying at the RV Park in July, 2016. Also we have not had a rate of $10/night even with the Good Sam discount for more than 20 years!! Perhaps it was intended for another RV Park.

Overall Rating:

Very nice campground in a downtown, urban setting. Sites are level gravel with a concrete slab patio. Difference between a deluxe site and regular site is deluxe site has a picnic table and BBQ. Thought it would be tough to back my rig in. With help from the staff it was very easy. Staff was friendly and great source of information about local attractions. WI-Fi was very slow but it was a secure, password protected system. We camped at Apache Palms RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Very clean. Great access to the light rail. Minuses were no real good area to walk the dog, and near a busy police station. Lots of sirens. We liked the park. We camped at Apache Palms RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Conveniently located next to the MetroLine for easy public transportation options. Nice large sites, but no shade in the one we had. No grass and no dog walk. Nice staff. Would stay again. We camped at Apache Palms RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

Small campground one mile from Arizona State University. Very well kept. Sites were well laid out, and had good parking for both tow vehicles and visitors. Small problem with Wi-Fi at our site, but manager said that they were installing a repeater to fix it the week after I left. Office staff were very friendly, and quite knowledgeable about the area. We needed some repair work done, and the office had a box of business cards for all types of services. Their recommendation was quick, inexpensive, and did good work. Stayed for a week and had a great time. This will be our place to stay when we come to the Phoenix area to see the grand kids. We camped at Apache Palms RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is a great park for visiting the Tempe and greater Phoenix area. The hosts were friendly and efficient. The park and bathrooms were kept clean. There seemed to some problem with the Wi-Fi. The neighborhood has changed and appears to be mostly students from the university. The park is right next to the MetroRail which made it very convenient for travel to museums and other attractions. Friendly / helpful staff. I called while en route to advise an after-hours arrival (about 10pm). Staff was helpful; they put us in a corner space so not to disturb too many others with our late arrival. Park was clean but no grass to be found. Additionally, I don't remember seeing any trees. Light Rail construction on roads outside park makes traffic a bit more difficult, but does not effect the park or your stay. A fine place to stay for a night while enjoying MLB (go Angels!) Spring Training about 10 minutes away. We camped at Apache Palms RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is a parking lot campground in the middle of a city businesses district. Snowbirds and poor college kids live here. More permanent and seasonal long-term folks than transient campers. Do not stay here if you are on vacation. User Pass would be much nicer. We camped at Apache Palms RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
