Our site was not level and the hookups are at the rear making connection difficult with several sewer extensions. Water requires a key and deposit (refundable but a hassle). Staff was courteous. No wifi except in nearby hotel. Park was quiet and seemed secure at night. No ATT cell service. Gravel / dirt dusty site. Seems to be best (or only) available RV park in the immediate area so we used this park. We will only revisit this park if necessary . Had to disconnect car from motorhome to fit on site. We camped at Quality Inn & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Flat pull through sites capable of handling 45' motorhome plus dinghy. Had to drop dinghy to allow front door access to cement patio pad. 30 and 50 amp service in good shape. Water hook up is an extra $9 if needed but sewer is included. Level dirt and gravel sites with some shade trees. Good overnight stop. We camped at Quality Inn & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Finding and figuring out who to contact and where your can stay on the reservation is complicated at best. For a sub $30/night for full hook ups this is the most painless place I found. The roads are paved, sites gravel and are long and wide. Hook ups are at the very back of the site so have some extra water, sewer hoses, and power cords if you insist on parking your rig in the middle of the site. The site was level. The showers and bathrooms were clean and the shower had great hot water and good pressure. Our Verizon phone and Mifi worked pretty well and we did not notice too much of a slow down. The have complimentary coffee in the morning and fry bread in the evening in the hotel lobby. The site was pretty quiet and clean. Tuba City is located about 60 miles from several interesting sites and there are some local attractions that are worth seeing. We figured out some other places to stay in the area but would stay here again. We camped at Quality Inn & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

60 miles away: Navajo National Monument, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Mesa on the Hopi Reservation. Check at the Hopi Cultural Center to hire a guide to see the pueblos. The guide is mandatory and very informative. They also don't want you taking pictures. Right in Tuba City visit the old trading post/museum. Dinosaur Tracks are about 5 miles outside of town and Blue Canyon/Coalmine Canyon is about 15 miles outside of town.

Overall Rating:

I am rating this park an "8" because $27 for a 45 ft long and very wide site with 50 AMP Full Hookups is a real deal. We pull a 43 ft fifthwheel with an F350 Dually Truck and the 45 ft site (#9) worked great. Checkin is at the hotel and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The site was pretty level, no road noise, and tall trees. The site is dirt with a small concrete patio and picnic table. Longest sites are 45 ft. The sites are very wide which is really nice. Be aware all the utilities are at the very back of the site so we had to use our extra hoses. Utilities worked well. No WIFI at the site but our satellite worked well. There is WIFi in the hotel lobby and the Internet Café on site. This is Navajo land so AT&T cell and Verizon Hotspot throughput was slow. This is not under the RV parks control. Internet Café makes wonderful coffee drinks and fruit smoothies and pastries. I'd recommend this to anyone who needs to stay a day or two in the area. We camped at Quality Inn & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

This campground is behind the Quality Inn Motel with full hookups. The sites on the north side closer to the bathhouse are a little quieter than the south end. You are given a card to unlock the bathroom/shower, and you have to pay a $5.00 deposit for a key to unlock the water. When you turn it in before leaving you get your money back. Park is all dirt with lots of ridges caused by rain. Amazingly it doesn't stick to you shoes. Looks like there are several full timers but it is not a problem. There is also a laundry room. Dog park is not really a dog park. It is not fenced and was muddy with standing water is low place. Would stay here again. We camped at Quality Inn & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

.We spent one night on our travels and found the park to be just what we needed. It's quiet and although we only used elec the rate was for FHU and a fair price. We ate dinner in the restaurant and enjoyed delicious Navajo tacos with green chile and the next morning we had a simple but delicious breakfast. The museum and trading post are both worth visiting. We camped at Quality Inn & RV Park in a Motorhome.

I didn't expect much from reading the reviews but was very pleasantly surprised when I arrived. The staff was very helpful and friendly, the site was pretty level, no road noise, and trees. I've paid a lot more and gotten much less. I'd recommend this to anyone who needs to stay a day or two in the area. And the fry bread late in the afternoon was a real treat. Adequate overnight stop. As the only CG in the west end of Hwy 264 in the Navajo Nation, it seems to get a lot of 1 night business. Staff was friendly. Sites too short for a Class A with a tow, but OK for my pickup an 30ft travel trailer. Sites very close together. Hookups at far rear of site. Suggest early arrival because it fills up quickly. They charge a $5 deposit for a water key so you can turn on the faucet. Deposit is returned when you check out. No Wi-Fi or off the air TV or cable. We camped at Quality Inn & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Sites were not very long though wide enough. We stayed hooked up but barely fit our 35 ft 5th wheel and truck. Don't use #9 as there is a tree to plan your slides around! Dog park had no trash can. It was quiet, no WiFi. About the only campground between Flagstaff and Cortez using Hwy 160. There is a restaurant on site and a nice little store. Good value for the price and felt very safe and secure as it is fenced in and behind the motel. We camped at Quality Inn & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Run by the Navajo Nation Indians, it is a dry county so you will not find any alcohol anywhere. We had good WiFi on our Jetpack but no TV Antenna service. Our site was nice and level with good water and good electric. They have a restaurant on site, a museum, and store. The people working in the hotel and restaurant were very nice and friendly. They have free "fry bread" in the hotel lobby for the guests to sample. There is a park across the street to walk your dog, but I did not feel comfortable walking anywhere else. The park was accessible and had a clean laundry room (very important to me). Lot spacing is very close and offer some shade. Site surface is gravel and feature a picnic table.

The best thing was that my son's debit card was accidentally left in one of the dryers and the park management contacted us and mailed it to our next destination. We were beyond thrilled. Great people. We camped at Quality Inn & RV Park in a Motorhome.

The staff was extremely friendly. The rv park is directly behind the motel with easy access to a restaurant, museum, and coffee shop. There is free Indian Fry Bread in the lobby each evening. The park is small with some shade trees but basically dirt and a little gravel. Our site was a fairly level pull through about 50 feet long. But, since the utilities were at the very back end of the site we had to unhook our towed vehicle and park in front of our rig so we didn't block the driveway (not as convenient as we had hoped for an overnight stay). We had to make a $5 deposit for a key to unlock the water which is refunded when the key is returned. We camped at Quality Inn & RV Park in a Motorhome.

This was only an overnight stop, but a Navaho museum is next to the motel, as well as a nice-enough looking restaurant (although we did not partake). Tuba City is located on the reservation and a prominent city of the Navaho Nation government.
