Easy access off of 85. Check in was quick and easy. Attendant was very helpful with info regarding services in town. We were guided to our site and offered assistance setting up. The parameter roads are gravel. Sites are gravel with no table or fire pit. (Communal fire pit is available.) All services were to the left rear and worked as expected. The sites are a bit tight but long enough for us not to have to disconnect our towed. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. There are some long term residents but none of the units or sites were trashy. Cable TV is available (without the box) with a good variety of channels. On site laundry was clean and reasonably priced. Stores and restaurants are within easy walking distance. Highway noise was hardly noticeable. We paid $22.50 per night and feel we received good value. We would return. - Rollin Ollens

The park roads were dirt and maneuverable with a 36' DP motorhome, although tight in some places. Our site was gravel, narrow, and medium length. As is typical with sites in the southwest, there was NO grass available for our 3 golden retrievers. There was a cable TV connection, but it didn't work very well, and there were no OTA stations. The water was easy to connect to, and the water pressure was sufficient. The sewer connect was at ground level, so it was easy to connect to. The WiFi connection was OK to their access point, but the internet bandwidth was zero, so it was a useless connection. Verizon cell signal was 4 out of 5 bars. We don't use restrooms, or showers (there was no pool that I was aware of), so we can't render an opinion on those items. There was no dog park, and the place seemed to have an abundance of Chihuahua's. Most of the residents seems to be long term people. We did not notice any significant road noise, but noise like that doesn't bother us anyway. The price was excellent for the services received, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We would likely stay here again if in the area. - Don Gagnon

Very nice and helpful manager. We've stayed here several times, attending the Fiddlers contest. Definitely would stay here again. - Smokinghawk49

This park was a find, unique, friendly, helpful and non-intrusive. Small, clean, well-organized and spaces were gravel & large enough to park our truck next to RV, with cement pad for chairs to the side of the RV site. Sites were level. Nice area to walk our dog. Grocery/hardware store across the street. Didn't remember site number below. They allowed us to do a drone video of the campground which gives you a good idea of the facility. - ClaireOKC

What I look for in a campground is some place I don't have problems getting in or out of, with at least reasonably sized sites, good utilities that are placed so I don't need my spare hoses and cord, and is clean and quiet. This park has all that but so do many others. Where this one really stands out is the landscaping - a lot of thought and work went into it. Makes for a super nice place to stay. There is some shade at some sites some times, but it is the desert. WiFi worked for us but the park was pretty much empty, don't know what it would be like if full. Verizon signal not as good as in town but was OK. I didn't see any pull-thrus unless the lot next door is used somehow but I didn't need one so didn't ask. - fulltimer121

What a pleasant RV park this is! Nice, wide roads. Big spaces. Even though it is on the highway it was very quiet and dark. One evening a coyote strolled past our coach. Fun to see but a reminder that we were in the desert and the dog shouldn't be left outside unattended! - TwoE's

Very nice quiet park in a very small town. If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is a good choice. $300/mo. and 7th night free for weeklies. - RickCharon
Apr 2017 - $24.00
Ask for a site in the rear of the park, they appear to be a little larger and easier to fit. We had a time getting near the cement pad and having room to extend our slides. The park was very quiet this time of year, most people who are full time in the Winter are heading out in April. WiFi worked well. The town is not much to write home about; we came to visit the Organ Pipe Cactus National Park which is wonderful. Be sure and take the 21 mile drive. - saturn7

Jan 2018 - $5.00
I rated this as good, among other dry camping spots, not among campgrounds with utilities. It is a nice, flat quiet place to park a few miles outside of Ajo. There is no reason to stop here unless you want to play golf. The golf course is a desert course, without much grass, but is fun to play and very reasonably priced. There is wifi available, and it works reasonably well. Verizon signal is strong. Groceries available a few miles away in Ajo. There are plans to put in some sites with utilities here in the near future (they are almost done with the construction). Nice little cafe on site. Small group of locals who hang out here are over-the-top friendly. - KAP99
Mar 2014 - $1.00
Easy access about 5 miles north of Ajo city, this golf course/boondocking campground is a nice stop in a scenic desert area. Patronize either the restaurant or the golf course ($10/9 holes) and the camping is free otherwise $3/night. No facilities other than a gravel parking lot and free wifi are offered. Plenty of space for any size rig with toad. Quiet in the evening even through the municipal airport is adjacent. During our visit there was a campground host but no other staff. Restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch and golf is pay on the honor system. - mediawise

Nice little park with super friendly managers. Some good hiking in the area and around Ajo. Glad we stopped in this time instead of breezing past to Organ Pipe as we had done before. - John WD Smith
Dec 2017 - $8.00
Fabulous place to get away from everything. I stayed in the boondocking area. Wifi was good and Verizon signal excellent. Very nicely maintained facilities. Tons of space to park in whatever orientation you want. They do allow generator use most of the day, but it was not a problem when I was there - most folks seem to have solar. Beautiful quiet place to stay in the desert, great value. There is gas in town, but miles from groceries; plan ahead. - KAP99
Jan 2017 - $20.00
This park is the West location with full services. It is very well managed by a live-in site manager who is a great host. Every day there is a campfire gathering for all residents of the campground which is a first for us ever. The grounds are kept near perfect and there is even a campground Roadrunner called Hoppy that hangs around from time to time that follows one around like a tame chicken. Other wildlife (coyotes, Harris Hawks etc) are abundant. Lots of native plants and also Palm Trees. Camp will take 45ft motorhomes. WiFi service is one of the best campground wi-fi I have ever been connected to. - 8TiresRollin

Feb 2019 - $19.00
We stayed one night passing through. Very friendly managers, easy check-in. It's obvious someone is putting money into the place - RO water, nice gravel sites with concrete pads, new bathroom facilities. Sites are close together with nothing providing privacy in-between. Convenient to Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument, which is why we stopped. Verizon cell worked fine, mifi worked OK - 2-3 bars. Their internet was out during our stay. - Roaming Together
Jan 2018 - $19.00
Nice RV park easy to get into off the highway at the Casino. Crushed stone roads and sites but the sites also have a little concrete patio. Interior roads are very wide and easy to maneuver. Electric and water are at the back of the sites and sewer also near the back. Electric worked fine, water pressure low because on huge RO system. Verizon LTE strong. Campground Wifi was worthless. No reservations taken, sites available first-come-first-served. Outside rows with desert view fill up first. Clean restrooms and large clean laundry facility. - cwier
Mar 2017 - $19.00
Just a wonderful park. Very quiet with a spectacular night sky! Coyotes singing and a herd of (wild?) burros provide entertainment. Gas station (+diesel) with general store and small casino within walking distance, otherwise quite remote. Sizeable sites; excellent water. Staff & management very helpful and friendly. 30 amp or 50 amp, same price. Good walking and biking paths, but these are also remote and pretty wild. Understand the desert before you wander off. - rmlarson
