In most ways this place sets the bar for RV parks. Utilities are all recently upgraded, park is squeaky clean. Not many trees - no shade, but that's what you get in the desert. Sites are clean and level. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Systems were good, i.e. good water pressure, excellent wi-fi, (we have satellite so didn't hook up to their cable) and voltage 121. Place appears to run like a well oiled machine. As others have noted, the only thing that kept me from giving it a 10 was the noise from I-10. But then it's always a compromise: do we want an easy off - easy on spot, or a quiet one. We are 53 feet including a toad, and our site was tight - hung out a bit at both ends, but I think they have larger sites. We'd definitely stay here again. We camped at Willcox / Cochise, AZ KOA in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We have stayed at this park several times in the past before it became a KOA park and found great improvements. Unlike most typical KOA parks the sites are spacious with easy in / out. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The heated pool and laundry room are very clean. The Wi-Fi was very fast and the dog park is one of the better ones we have seen. They serve breakfast and dinner at a reasonable price and it is very good. We will definitely stay here again when in the area. We camped at Willcox / Cochise, AZ KOA in a Motorhome.

New owners did a great job cleaning up and improving the Park. Staff were great. Rangers took you to your site. Rest rooms were clean. Wi-fi was good. Cable TV had many channels (except for no ESPN - sad). Restaurant on site with pizza in evenings and full breakfast in morning. If traveling through this area, we would return. Only negative was that it is close to the Interstate. Noise on the road side but not an issue further away. Low monthly but no weekly rates. Spend a week and pay for 6 at nightly rate, 7th night free. We camped at Willcox / Cochise, AZ KOA in a Motorhome.

About the only thing wrong with this site is noise from the freeway. It doesn't bother me or my wife, but some might have a problem. They provide complimentary earplugs. The new owners have upgraded almost everything including the power and wifi (2.4 and 5 Ghz). There is a cafe for breakfast open from 7:30 to 10:30. The rest rooms looked new. There is also a store in the office with RV supplies, drinks, ice cream and other things. We would definitely camp here again. We camped at Willcox / Cochise, AZ KOA in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This park was formerly Magic Circle RV now Willcox KOA, I stayed at Magic Circle back in 2011, today the lot sites are exactly the same but KOA has a new Office, new utility posts, new showers and laundry and small pool. The park is greatly cleaned up with rocks marking the various sites and well numbered. Check in was quick and friendly with an escort to my site, site was level gravel. There are small lights in the utility post but no other lights fairly dark and the I10 runs along side, they offer free ear plugs. Easy on and off the I10 with large truck stop close and easy to find. Great spot for a spot over but a bit pricey. We camped at Willcox / Cochise, AZ KOA in a Motorhome.

Only reason it got "8" instead of "10" is the Interstate noise--but then, that makes it very easy to get to. Middle-of-week November with cold temps made it have only a few campers but the gravel sites were VERY clean and easy to hook up things to. CLEAN laundry room ($2/load); Nice size, round gravel dog run with exercise things if you have dogs that do more than walk around slowly like ours. Even ice cream is available. Our WIFI didn't even need the booster we have-it was FAST wifi. We camped at Willcox / Cochise, AZ KOA in a Travel Trailer.

This is an excellent RV Park-much improved since our last stay 18 months ago. New office, new gravel roads and campsites, new electrical posts and SUPERB WIFI. They advertise 5G Wifi. Our download speed was an amazing 111 mbs-awesome!! Every campground should have similar Wifi. If a KOA in Willcox AZ can have it, it cannot be that expensive. Recently refurbished KOA that was really nice with all new utilities and equipment. One of the nicest KOA's I have stayed. Gravel site was very level and hookups easy reach. Recommend for overnight unless you have a reason to stay in Wilcox. We camped at Willcox / Cochise, AZ KOA in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

With 17 years of recreational RVing, I will say this is one of the nicest RV parks we have stayed in. It's under new ownership, so any reviews over a year old are irrelevant, as the park has been entirely re-done. The park renovation indicates that it was designed by someone who has done RVing. Our spot was large enough that another unit could have shared it with us. The park has all new gravel throughout. While there, several monsoon rain storms passed through and, even with two large dogs and an oblivious husband, the lady of the house found nothing tracked into our rig. All of the facilities are clean and spacious. The staff could not be more accommodating or friendly. One noteworthy feature to us was the dog park; clean, large enough and well thought out. There were some features in the doggy park that are not normally seen: agility (sort of) devices. See attached photo. Cable TV (from satellite) had good, strong signal; The wifi system was engineered into the renovation, with it's own dedicated towers, rather than slapping antennas onto the nearest building. Shade trees are on every other space and have been pruned to allow scratch-free parking. Proximity to the highway was vastly overshadowed by all the "pluses" of this park. And, there is so much to see in the area that we will now make this a destination park, not just a stopover. We camped at Willcox / Cochise, AZ KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

This was a great campground for an overnight stop. It is new and has everything you need...dog park, small kid playground, LEVEL site and long enough we did not have to unhook our Jeep. We booked online and the staff called to give us late check in instructions. We left early the next day and the campground was almost empty. This would be a great location for snowbirds. Some of the sites had nice patio furniture, swing and Weber grill. Ours had a nice picnic table. I would stay here again. We camped at Willcox / Cochise, AZ KOA in a Motorhome.

This is one of the most spacious KOA's that I have stayed at in the Western US. We had a premium site and it was spotless. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is next to Interstate 10 and there is some traffic noise. However, the Interstate is not too busy so the noise is not a problem since you are either using AC or the heater. This would be a great place to home base to see the surrounding sites. We camped at Willcox / Cochise, AZ KOA in a Motorhome.

There appears to have been lots of upgrades lately. Sites were gravel and level and the services at each campsite looked newly refurbished. There were several WiFi antenna poles around the park and video streaming worked well. The restrooms were clean and it looked like they had a pool staked out to be installed. The camp store was one of the better ones we've run across with a nice RV section and hand dipped ice cream. Our site was near the front and thus near the interstate -- as in very near. The highway noise bothered me at night but didn't impact my wife at all. There are some interesting sites related to the history of the southwest within an hour so, if you like hiking and history, you can find things to do here and this campground would make a nice base.
