We liked the park. The office and people were nice. The shop was cute. But we have 2 dogs. They have NO LIGHTING in the park at night. It’s a good thing we had flashlights otherwise we couldn’t have found our way, and once inside without a flashlight we couldn’t have kept a watch on our dogs much less seen to pick up after them.
So... spot light at the dog gates guys, and then motion detector lights once you walk into the park. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed one night at Meteor Crater. The staff was extremely friendly. Our spot had plenty of room for our RV. Even though it is really close to I17 it was very quiet. We had to level our RV just a little but it was no big deal. Each site was gravel and not dusty. They had some large trees but it didn't interfere with our satellite reception. With your stay you get discounts on the tickets at the crater. They also discount the gas but the price of gas was the highest Id seen in the area. The small store they had there was also priced very high. I would stay at this park again. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Motorhome.

Get gas somewhere else. The price at the time of our stay was very high even with their discount for staying at the park.

This is definitely a no-frills park, but the area offers so many beautiful things to see and do. The site we were in was close to being level. The staff was friendly and we were guided to our site. We had some trouble with our satellite, but eventually picked up some of our channels. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

If you have the time you must see the Meteor Crater. There is a $2.00 off coupon in the paperwork you receive at check-in. You also have a choice of Military discount (half off) and senior discount. (I don't remember. It's a senior thing.)

Easy on off I40 Quick check in, with good signs. Great connections. Close to the Crater and Winslow. I would stay here again. We were impressed with the attention to details and cleanliness. Gated at night, after hours. Felt very safe. Fuel for your vehicle on site with a discount. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We made this an overnight stop but due to bad weather we stayed an extra day. We had a water and electric only site. The site was level. The roads and sites are gravel and dirt and with the wind blowing up to 40 mph it was a rocky stay as the CG is very exposed. Water pressure was very low and the internet was almost useless. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Motorhome.

If you need road service as we did, I highly recommend Roadside Repair in Flagstaff (928) 699-9211. The mechanic knows what he's doing and even came out on the Memorial Day holiday.

We spent two nights here and were very pleased with the accommodations. Yes, the sites were gravel; however they were spacious and easy to access. All facilities, restrooms and showers, were very clean and the folks in the store were friendly and helpful. Discounts to the Meteor Crater were available to all campers. Will recommend this park to others and if I get that way again, will certainly stay with them. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is a very nice park. The sites are gravel, level, and roomy. Showers are clean with private lavatory and toilet. Water pressure is low and hot water is a bit better than warm. Store front has a gas station, fast foods, and RV parts. Laundry room has four w/d's all of which work well. Well situated between Winslow and Flagstaff. We came for 3 days and ended up staying for 11. However all the additional time was spent recovering from a nasty cold/cough we picked up on the South Rim of the GC. The folks at the front desk were very friendly and accommodating in extending our stay. The check in was a bit clunky but not that big a deal. Basics: roads are paved and easy to get around round on. The sites are long and wide and can accommodate the largest rigs, they had an upright bbq and picnic table. They have sites were level with full hook ups and the other sites have power and water and they have a nice dump station. We stayed in a power and water site and used the dump station. The showers and bathrooms were pretty clean but probably need a twice/day cleaning to be perfect. We had a site on the perimeter, 59, and had great views out the front window all the way to the San Francisco Peaks outside of Flag. Spectacular sunsets and sunrise views on the peaks. This is a pretty good central location to explore the area and there's lots to see and do, if you're not flat on your back sick. They have a store that has the basics and will give a $.o5/ gallon discount on fuel and a discount on entrance to the Meteor Crater for those who stay in the rv park. Winslow is the closest shopping area, about 20 miles away. The previous comment about the winds was dead on. We didn't even think of putting our awnings out or they would have been shredded by the gust of 45 mph +. The trees at our site blocked out a significant portion of the wind which generally blows from the S, SW. We'll stay here again if we're in the area. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Motorhome.

Have stayed here several times and will do so again in the future. I like the easy access of the park. The sites are a good size, and I was able to maneuver my 40' 5'er with no problems. There is also a convenient refueling station in front of the park office. Bathroom (out in the park) was generally clean but showers had mold around the bottom of the walls. Lots of trees, and a generally pleasing park out in the desert. I've heard winds can be wicked, but have not personally experienced that. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is in the middle of nowhere, and it sits on a rise, so the wind can be brutal (it was for us). It is 6 miles from the crater, but the fees to see the hole in the ground were high, so we skipped that. bare bones park, and our site was W/E only, but we used the dump station. We stayed overnight on our way to the Grand Canyon in a 40’ fifth wheel. The park is very clean and well kept. There was a fair amount of road noise from I-40, but we weren’t overly bothered by it. At check-in we were given a $2.00 per person discount for admission to see the Meteor Crater, but at $16 per person we decided to pass. There are two connected dog exercise areas that were all dirt with a few bushes around the sides. Our pup is accustomed to “going” on grass and wasn’t too interested in these fences areas. There were several beautiful grassy areas, but there were some signs asking that you don’t allow your dog to relieve themselves there. There is an area with a sign marked as a dog walk out front of the enclosed area of the RV park that I thought felt a bit strange. There weren’t many campers here during our stay so it was rather quiet. The check-in staff were courteous. WiFi was fine for our purposes and we were in site 60 away from the main building. No cable, but we’re were able to pick up several OTA stations to make do. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Told them the length of the coach and that we were towing a car. All I was offered for overnight was a 30 amp pull through. Turns out it is too small for our rig without either the front of the coach or the car sticking out into the road (as several others were doing). Desk personnel got snippy with me stating that I had REQUESTED that site - not true. Ended up with 50 amp FHU site. Interior roads are tight and big rocks are all around. All sites are set up for 5th wheels/trailers, not for motorhomes. Most motorhomes appeared to have unhooked their cars because of the short sites. Will never return here! Level packed gravel site with crushed red rock around the picnic table. The sites are not laid out in straight rows so navigation through the park was a little awkward. Check in is at the gas station. Good OTA reception. Wifi was sporadic. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Pro - Great stop to see Meteor Crater, very easy park to maneuver in & very clean. We were put in FHU gravel site 16, that was plenty big enough for our 42' rig. We had room to unhook and park the truck. The site was normal for RV spacing between neighbors. The park Wi-fi was excellent and we used our dish for TV. The office had a store for supplies and a Mobile station attached that had both Diesel & Gas. The showers and laundry were very nice and clean and they had a dog run. They have discounts for Meteor Crater Park. Delta - No cable TV, could hear a little hwy noise from I-40 which is close. If you need Diesel fuel you can take a nap waiting for your tank to fill (slowest pumps I've ever seen), not sure how the gas pumps are. Shower water was not the hottest. Would definitely stop here again!! We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
