I used to stay here, but not going back. Park has a new owner who is not keeping it clean as in past years. It now has a lot of old trailers. Past managers have quit because of new owner. Looks to me you can do anything you want. People let there dogs out to do their business anywhere. We camped at Arizona West RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Park is close to I8 and very easy to find. It is very clean and well laid out with wide paved streets with many exits to the street. They offer both pull-thru and back-in sites. Our camp site was level, with dirt & gravel, and 50 amp full hookups. Water pressure was good and hookups easy to use. It was about 70 feet long, which was longer than our 40ft motorhome with toad and was plenty wide. We had no problem getting satellite service. We also had good Sprint and ATT cell service. The staff was wonderul and so helpful. We will definitely stay here again. We camped at Arizona West RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice friendly park. The managers are knowledgeable and very helpful. Our neighbors had 2 small dogs that they walked and were very friendly to us. Lots of activities. Good clean showers at the pool and spa. Each site has a meter and rates are good. We camped at Arizona West RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Beside having the Yuma prison, there are free concerts, air shows, 3 flea markets, very large shopping mall across town. This park is 1/2 mile from a new Super Walmart.

We returned to this park when we found out the old managers were let go. It is once again a VERY FRIENDLY park. It has new landscaping and is very clean. They have lots of activities and our little dog has new friends. The pool and spa have both been up-dated and look really nice. It appears the new managers are doing a good job and are very friendly. We have made reservations for next season already. We camped at Arizona West RV Park in a Motorhome.

This park was a lot of fun! Great people and fun activities all month long. The pool was recently remodeled! It was nice getting to know all the visitors. The new park manager lady is the sweetest and she really cares about the park. We are coming back next season and we hope to see all of our new friends. Lot spacing was spacious with a sunny/open exposure. Site surface was gravel. Restrooms and showers were clean. We camped at Arizona West RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice park, lots of orange trees and good sized spots. No fire pits or BBQ's but do have concrete patios. Staff was friendly but kinda snobbie. Way too many rules and were not enforced equally to everyone. We camped at Arizona West RV Park in a Motorhome.

If you are looking for a nice park, keep looking. The management here should be in a different line of work. They have no idea how to deal with the public. The park is old and needs many upgrades. Poor power, dying citrus trees, small sites and rude management. Many nicer parks in this area for the same price so don't stop here! We camped at Arizona West RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

Old park, narrow streets, small sites, antiquated facilities, Gestapo management. Management's favorite saying is: "We came here to run a business not to make friends." I spent winters in this park until the new management arrived and it used to be known as: "The friendliest park in Yuma." Now it is managed by a couple that have the attitude: "My way or the highway." Most people have chosen the highway. Park is no longer 55 only. Pool is old and the hot-tub is broken more often that not. Power is sporadic and water pressure is low, the plumbing breaks down often. Lots of old trees that are dying from neglect. All in all there are better parks for less money. We camped at Arizona West RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

The spaces are so narrow that backing into an assigned spot is a nightmare unless you are a very small trailer or motorhome. Add to this the old lampposts installed almost in the middle of the space added to the backing up fiasco. And don't dare park on the skinny cement "Patio"! The spots are not long enough to accommodate anything longer than 30 feet--we were 35 feet, and were inches from the electrical outlet and directly over the water and sewer hookups. The cable TV is horrible, although management did come out and try to adjust it, to no avail. The pool area is clean but very small--more than 10 people would overcrowd the entire area. Laundry room was clean, but several driers were not functioning. Free wireless was available in the activity/meeting/library room. No privacy, but the connection was fine. You have to find a table, chair and plug in and set it up yourself in an area not being used. Then there is the constant loud road noise with the added train in the middle of the night. Impossible to sleep. The attitude here is " People have been coming here for over 25 years, we are always full, and every park in Yuma is busy during the winter". We will not stay here again and I don't recommend it to anyone. We camped at Arizona West RV Park in a Motorhome.
