This was an overnight stop on our way home. We requested a pull-through site so we didn't have to unhitch our car, and they accommodated that. We were traveling with another couple, and requested we be next to each other; that was accommodated as well. The pull-through sites were not at an angle, which made getting in and out of them tricky, but we made it. This park is very basic. Mostly full time residents. All of the surfaces were either asphalt, concrete or gravel. Very stark, no landscaping at all, not even desert scape. We travel with dogs, so we were happy to see that they had a fenced dog park. Unfortunately, it was a fairly small area down in a gulley; no poop bags, no trash can to throw bags away in if you had your own. (Which we always do.) The area was every powdery dirt, not conducive to walking around or playing fetch with the dogs. We all ended up filthy. There was a huge area that they could have fenced, but this tiny patch was all they had used. We were not happy with this; I'm sure their residents would like to see something a little nicer as well. The staff was very friendly though; lots of the residents were friendly as well, coming over to see our dogs and chat with us. One neighbor did come over at night and was accusing us of fiddling with their power somehow, and told us that "someone" caused a power outage for several spaces. NOT US, our power was on the other side of our coach. We found that a little unsettling, but did nothing about it. There are many many MANY RV parks in Yuma; we would not stay here again, and would not recommend them. We camped at Blue Sky RV Park in a Motorhome.

Good park. Easy to get around, tightest turn if coming from the west is the right then a quick right into the registration area. Paved roads, mostly graveled sites, ours was asphalt, level with well-placed utilities and long enough to stay hooked up if we wanted. Some trees about so its not barren but shade if any is sparse. Laundry functional and reasonably priced. Wifi in central facilities worked well, I got a good Verizon signal. Looks like they have some activities during the season. Super Staff! We camped at Blue Sky RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very nice park in April after most Snowbirds leave. We enjoyed the park host who guided us to our long pull thru site (we didn't have to unhook for one nite) and made our stay enjoyable. it is a little problem to get your pet to the "desert" to do his business...can be a long walk. Ask for a site near the gates. Was warned that the official dog park had ticks and fleas. We will return. We camped at Blue Sky RV Park in a Motorhome.

Internal roads are wide and paved, sites are generally gravel and not very big, ours was all pavement, level and fairly easy to back into, facilities worked well, site was satellite friendly. Staff were friendly, park WiFi is free/unsecured and does not work at the site but works well in the clubhouse, T-Mobile cell service was fair to poor. Apparently cell service in Yuma is pretty bad. The park was quiet. We would stay here again. We camped at Blue Sky RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

We were amazed. Low season. Lots of available sites. Passport rate everywhere in the are was $19 range but the charged us $32 because our RV was 40 feet long. The same site with a shorter camper would have been much less. RIDICULOUS!! Shame on them. It's not a place for overnighting in high season. All seasonal rentals. We camped at Blue Sky RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice snowbird park. Many winter residents. All roads and sites are paved. Full hook-ups. Plenty of pull-thrus. Guide in a golf cart led us to our site. They had a hot dog/hamburger roast the night we stayed. Very friendly atmosphere. We camped at Blue Sky RV Park in a Motorhome.

A lovely park with many permanent RVs that are well maintained. Some pull-through sites, some totally paved, some mostly gravel and many have shade. The pool and spa and restrooms/shower were very clean. The roads were paved and although it is on a frontage road, there was very little highway noise. It was a lovely overnight and we would stay again! We camped at Blue Sky RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Date of Stay: January, 2014 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

One of many RV parks in the area. We chose this because it allowed our 65 pound lab mix. Most Yuma parks seem to have a 20-30 pound limit. The park had paved streets and level gravel sites. We paid more for a "deluxe sized" pull through on the unfenced edge of a large field where our dog could run off leash. This park had more shade trees than most in the area, but one could not say there were shady sites available. Limited cable channels, had to pay a private company for internet, ($30/mo. plus installation). Large, clean laundry room, nice enough pool, some organized activities, mostly games. Love the Monday amateur musical jam sessions. Overall, pricey compared to most other parks in area, electricity was high. One pet was allowed, but they charged $20 per month for each extra. We paid $510/mo, plus electricity, including our extra cat. We camped at Blue Sky RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
