Date of Stay: April, 2018 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

Pros: The sites were 50' long by around 38' wide - plenty of space for our 42' RV and out car AND boat on a trailer. The sites were ok level, coarse gravel parking with a large cement patio. The hookups were right where they're supposed to be; the power was consistent and the water pressure measured 65 psi. The boat launch was narrow but the surface was well maintained, though we were there at the highest water level possible... it'd be tougher to launch when the water level is lower, which it often is. The cons: There's nothing "pretty" about the sites themselves. Most of the sites are seasonal owners who leave their RV's, boats and golf carts there; they rent out the "empty" sites. The only real reason to stay at Hidden Shores would be if you're RV'ing boaters, which we are, but... The river is a challenge to say the least. We ran aground 3 times trying to get around the first bend past Imperial Dam. Thankfully, it was soft and sandy so no damage done, but it wasn't any fun either. I talked with many local boaters there and they suggested that unless you know the river it would be challenging all the time, and even then they have to re-learn the river when it changes... which it frequently does. Without being to reliably boat on the river without running aground on every turn, there's really no reason to stay at Hidden Shores. We couldn't even get a phone signal let alone a data signal on either our Sprint or AT&T services. The first Time Customer discount is nice, but the standard rate is way too expensive for what you get... we left after just one night and had to forfeit our $49.95 "discount" but there just wasn't any reason to stay. It's not a bad place... it has ok beaches and fishing on the river front, but that's not enough reason for us to go back. If you have a fishing boat or perhaps a jet boat with a very shallow draft, you night be able to enjoy more of the river than we could so it might be worth it for you. We camped at Hidden Shores in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We only stayed one night and the resort didn't charge us. Beautiful site that pulled right up to the Colorado River. However no cell or internet service at all! We had planned to stay the month but needed services. Very disappointing since the site was great. We camped at Hidden Shores in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: November, 2012 - $70.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at a waterfront location that was just beautiful with a great view of the river/lakes. They are double wide spaces one for your RV and one for your towed and boat. Gravel lots with concrete pad in between. Mostly full timers here. We were between two sites that had been rented for 20 years to same folks. Everything here is first class. They have some rules. Nice beach, kids fishing dock, volleyball court, playground for kids, golf course. The place is designed for full timers and there are lots of permanent houses trailers. No rental of boats, no volley balls, no shuffleboard equipment, and no golf clubs to borrow. They don't even provide Wi-Fi in the clubhouse. Pool is super well, stocked store, library, and fitness center. Cell, coverage spotty here. They had a rodeo at the stables when we were here with $3 breakfast. It was great. Great park, bring your own stuff including your boat! We camped at Hidden Shores in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: March, 2012 - $57.00
Overall Rating:

This is a resort or destination park, all right, with swimming pool, golf, exercise room, etc. all readily available. It is clean and tidy as well. But well over half of the sites are occupied by small, constructed houses, and most of the rest that contain RVs seem to be occupied by permanent residents. Folks here are friendly to the transients, but the park is not meant for us: that is clear. Our major complaint is the absence of wi-fi and TV cable. For $57 you might expect to have these provided. They can be, for a monthly fee of $45--but we don't expect to be here for that long. If we were interested in golf and swimming, we'd probably rate the park somewhat higher. Staying here has been an interesting experience, but we won't be back. We camped at Hidden Shores in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

We camped here for three months. Never once was the restrooms dirty even when the pool was full and lots of people in park. The maintenance people were always picking up trash (never saw any) and weeding. Would definitely camp here again. If you have ATV plenty of places to ride. They also have stables for horses. Great store with $1.00 soft serve ice cream cones. wonderful place. Would definitely stop here again. We camped at Hidden Shores in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This park could be a gem. Sadly it isn't. Office staff were a complete disgrace and rude attitudes prevailed every time into the office. The clerk that checked us in made two mistakes on the amount and after bringing it to their attention that I owed more than I was being charged, the lady started to be very rude with me. We went to the pool that evening and could not get in as there is a security gate. The next day, I went to the same clerk and asked why we couldn't access the pool. She replied, "All guests require a keyfob to access the pool. No one accesses the pool without a keyfob." As we were going into the pool, I asked that I return later with the $5 keyfob fee. She said, "No one goes in the pool without a keyfob first." Never did I get an apology or reason from the staff as to why the Nazi-Like rules. For $54 per day, save your money and go to somewhere for way less $$$, and a friendly staff. We will not return to this park. We camped at Hidden Shores in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

Great park. A little on the pricey side, but many, many amenities. It's out-of-the-way, but if you like to fish or boat, this is a great place to stay. Bring your pitching wedge and putter for the 9-hole course. We camped at Hidden Shores in a Motorhome.

Very clean park. Has security at gate. A little on the expensive side but with all the amenities it is well worth it. We camped at Hidden Shores in a Fifth Wheel.
