All sites are back in, long enough. I parked my toad caty corner in front of my 40 foot rv. As you approach this campground after the narrow bridge, the road across the street appears to go to single lane, keep going up a hill and then down to the guard station. Good wifi. While you are in the middle of a wooded park, few sites have shade from trees, so most everyone has an unobstructed satellite view. The water is shared with your neighbor. I plan on returning. We camped at Blowing Springs Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The spring at the back of the park is beautiful. There are a ton of mountain bike paths in the area. The bike path from the park to downtown Bentonville is super nice. Beware, the bike path may get closed to do rain overflowing some of the low lying underpasses. The Crystal Bridges Art Museum (Walton Foundation) is a must-see. Sam Walton (Walmart) opened his first 5&Dime in Bentonville and the store is now a museum. There is a beautiful downtown area. Checkout the American Indian Museum.

Nice location. Park is pretty much just a big parking lot, but all utilities are good but located near the rear of the site. Pice is just a little high for the amenities but acceptable. Nice picknick tables at each site. We camped at Blowing Springs Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We spent a couple of days here visiting our kids. The park is easy to get into and the staff are great. The sites are close together but paved and concrete pads. Full hookups with 50amp. There is no OTA tv but there is cable which we did not use. AT&T service has worked well with no problems. The site was long enough for our 43' motorhome but the toad barely fit in front. Many park along side their RV's but you lose some patio space. It is a great stopover or a great place to stay a bit and explore Northwest Arkansas. We camped at Blowing Springs Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Bentonville is a quaint little town and home to Wal-Mart. The town square is a must with a great farmer's market and Sam Walton's first store and museum: along with a great ice cream store!

We were in site 24, two down from the shower building, and bumped up to a trim lawn and the creek with a little bridge. I recommend this site because it had lots of room compared to a lot of the others, which are closer together. Check-in was very easy and the woman at the counter was so nice, and had lots of information for us about the trails and surrounding area. The park was quiet at night and very much like a state park, with a several trailheads, miles of trails, a picnic area and the beginnings of an arboretum. There is also an exceptional bike path that starts here and goes all the way to Bentonville. A grocery store is just down the road. They have recycling here, which is awesome! My only complaint is that while we were there, we were completely overrun by flies, enough so that it made it very difficult to do anything outside of our camper. That's not their fault, though... just be prepared with a screen house or some kind of fly trap if you go in summer. Also, the bathrooms were only cleaned once a week, but for the most part, they were fine. If you love trails, this is the place for you. We camped at Blowing Springs Campground in a Motorhome.

Uber picks up here, which was great for us to go up the highway for excellent Chicago style pizza at Gusano's. Just do all the trails. Mountain bike, hike, run, roadbike. It's all there!

Be aware--"First Come" may trump reservations after hours. We arrived shortly after closing. The park was nice, sites were close and there was congestion in one area due to workers as commented. Our problem was that a trailer was in our site and no one was there. We called the phone number but had no reply and moved on after 2 hrs. The next day we received a very nice phone call with apology and admission that this was a reoccurring problem at the park. Payment for reservation was quickly refunded. We camped at Blowing Springs Campground in a Motorhome.

Beautiful little park that has a quiet, remote feel but is minutes away from anything you may want or need. It is right at the head of a hiking/biking trail and there is other outdoor activities close by. Very peaceful. We camped at Blowing Springs Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Very nice park owned/run by Bella Vista Property Owners Association. Sites are all back-in, but there's plenty of room to maneuver. Sites are a little close together.. The park was only about half full. but we stayed during the week. Could be full on weekends or when school is out. Very quiet while we were here. Would come back here We camped at Blowing Springs Campground in a Motorhome.

We stayed one night in May of 2018. The site was clean and nearly level; we only had to do minor shimming. The sites are close together but there is adequate room for a few lawn chairs. There are a few trails that connect to the park and are good for short hikes and are easy to moderate skill level. The park is only about one mile from the highway and everything is paved leading to the park. We camped at Blowing Springs Campground in a Travel Trailer.

The upgraded 30 amp section is now open. I think all sites now are full hook up. We have all 3 networks and PBS on antenna TV. Wifi works OK. FYI the trees are taller and give better afternoon shade farther back from the check in. We were on 13 and pretty hot until evening. There are lots of bike trails but it was near 100 in the parking lot this afternoon so no bike rides for us. The restrooms look good. We would stay here again. This campground is a long asphalt strip with back in parking on both sides located in a valley wooded on both sides. Each site has a concrete pad, table and asphalt parking. Each site has water, electric, sewer and free WIFI for $20 Bella Vista POA members. The space between the parking spots is the same width as the parking spot, maybe 15 feet. Nice space, with tables and plenty of green grass behind the vehicles. Not much in the park for kids but a bike park and 40 miles of bike paths just opened. There is a 50 and separate 30 amp section, although the 30 amp section closed for renovation. The staff was friend and helpful and take pride in their park. The showers and laundromat was clean, cool and functional. We spent 5 days over Memorial Day weekend and didn't feel cramped. We camped at Blowing Springs Campground in a Travel Trailer.

The park is renovating the upper section to have sewer hookups, and we felt fortunate to get our requested full hookup site near the laundry, and showers. Bella Vista continues to improve facilities for walking, hiking, a skateboard park. Presently no cable, spotty air reception in the morning. Nice radio station. Very near hospital and small shopping center, especially if traveling without tow car. One of those parks, that the environs are so special that "parking lot criticism" doesn't apply. We camped at Blowing Springs Campground in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: March, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

The benefit and beauty of this RV park has more to do with the attached trails, etc. than it does with the RV park. The RV park itself is basic with about 30 back in spots in the lower section and about the same number in the upper section (nearer to the hiking trails). The upper section was closed due to maintenance so everyone was clustered together in the lower section. Pads are asphalt with concrete picnic table pads adjacent. Sites are fairly close together but manageable. Management of the park is just "so - so" with a lot of units being parked in spots where they aren't supposed to (example - our unit was supposed to be in one spot which was full so the manager gave us a second spot which we used - the next day another unit was assigned to our spot because the agent hadn't bothered to update his records - a little confusing). Another issue is the water spigots - they're clustered side by side for 2 spots so one unit has to really stretch their hose - ours barely fit. This all pales however, by the the extensive walking and biking trails further up the canyon. You can literally walk for 40 miles through the wooded hillsides surrounding the park and there's beautiful peaceful streams wandering through. Short on time, we didn't get a chance to use them but will next time. Bella Vista/Bentonville is a beautiful place which we'll return to again. We camped at Blowing Springs Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

1. Several golf courses (reasonably priced) very close by 2. Crystal Bridges art museum about 15 minutes away (it's more amazing than we could imagine) 3. Town square in Bentonville (about 15 minutes away) - lovely "Disneyesque" type square with the Walmart Museum and other Walton history scattered about. Numerous restaurants and coffee shops around. Good place to "bust your diet"!

Welcoming reception, hosts provided lots of info about the area. Sites are blacktopped and fairly level, very clean with picnic table. Site width is a narrower than we like at 24 ft. but we had no-one on either side while we stayed so it was nice. Electric was stable and strong at 123v. Water pressure good. Sewer ports are located at the rear corner of the site. WiFi was surprisingly good most of the time. OTA reception was a problem with a lot of fine tuning required just to get a couple channels and those tiled frequently. This is due to the location of the campground which is tucked into a canyon. There is a public building with bath/showers and a common room with a TV if you need an uninterrupted fix. The campground's location is also the highlight with lots of hiking and biking trails in/around/throughout. The area is popular with the locals and beautiful. We would stay here again. We camped at Blowing Springs Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

As stated in the other reviews, this is a no-frills park. But the sites are level and asphalt with patios. There are picnic tables but not enough for every site. Laundry is good and there is a tv with cable, chairs and a lending library in a room adjacent to the laundry room. There is no cable and because of the hills surrounding the park, good luck picking up any over-the-air stations - satellite is the only way to get tv or go to the laundry building. If you like to hike and mountain bike, the trails immediately surrounding the park are excellent. There are also paved trails that go by a nearby lake that you can walk and bike on for miles. Wal-mart is nearby as are plenty of stations for fuel. We camped at Blowing Springs Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
