23 RV Parks near Clarksville, Arkansas
Oct 2016 - $32.00
So close, gravel, loud train noise. The only good thing, decent WiFi. Mostly full timers living here. Very dismal setting. Very steep, poor rocky roads. This to us probably the worst RV park we have hit yet, though there are some nearly as bad. - Georgiajan
Jul 2016 - $33.00
Second stay here over the years. The park is very basic with little or no shade. The owner is friendly and knowledgeable about sights to see in the area. It overlooks the lake but is a distance away. It is quiet and well kept. - Travelall
Jan 2016 - $33.00
Just an overnite stop on our way home from Christmas vacation. We had a nice level gravel pull through site. The park had just enough room for us to pull in and park our 32' RV and toad. Nothing fancy but there is a nice view of Lake Dardanelle.
It was a quiet night with some road noise and a train passed close by too. - 2bassbuds
Aug 2019 - $20.00
We were looking for relief from the summer heat and decided on Mt. Magazine. This is a beautiful park with great views of the surrounding area. And, the summer temperatures are 15-20 degrees cooler than the valley below.
We found the staff to be competent and caring. We mentioned when we checked in that it was our 48th Wedding Anniversary and the next day we found a very nice card signed by the staff with balloons at our site.
We took the short hike to the summit and also the north rim trail with spectacular views.
We will be back. - StJohn
Mar 2019 - $30.00
Sites were nicely spaced out. Nice gravel area & "driveway". Site was a tight pulling in just because of the weird angle. Great lantern hook! Beautiful place! Great area for exploring off trails & on. - Rednight
Feb 2019 - $32.00
Site 5 was 4 inches out of level from side to side. Our 5th wheel self leveled but with the right side tires off the ground. It was very cold and our water froze since the spigot was above ground. - BaldGuy
Oct 2019 - $30.00
Our site was large, level and had a great view of the lake and sunsets...this park is big rig friendly, family friendly and has something for everyone....services work great, ATT cell signal was good, got 4 ota channels, but there is no WiFi though....the private bathhouses are very nice, just like home and there are plenty....the staff is very nice and the checkin/visitor center is excellent.....this is a fishermen's paradise so expect alot of boaters during the summer and weekends.....this is a great place to relax and enjoy the beauty around you..... - smoky40
Jul 2019 - $30.00
Very nice state park with beautiful scenery. Plenty of open space around the area to play frisbee with the dog or go for an evening walk. A bit tight to back in a 32' trailer, but not a problem. Several of the sites that don't back up to the lake are not very level so check on that if you don't want to unhook. - BamaRambler
Jun 2019 - $34.00
Restrooms and showers had no locks. No one was enforcing the speed limit. - BaldGuy
Oct 2019 - $10.00
This is the Nicest park we have ever been to, it would rate a 1o but with no sever hookups we rate it a 9. Beautiful spacious well kept sites right on the Arkansas river next to the lock and dam. - danny 285
May 2019 - $21.00
We really tried hard to like this park. Its spacious, has asphalt pads and roads, nice views of the river from every campsite and handy to the wine trails. BUT we were driven crazy by the trains. They go by perhaps 10 times a day and 3/4 at night time, blowing their horns and sounding like a herd of elephants rushing the park. Even with double glazing they woke us several times every night. Also other than F loop the park is laid out with sites on each side of a long road along the river. That means lots of vehicles driving up and down all the time which is nowhere as bad as the trains but still eats into the peace. If you can put up with the trains then this is a nice park, but we couldn't. - Kiwis_Abroad
May 2019 - $11.00
Located 10 min off of the 1 40 this large park offers lakeside paved mostly level sites with gravel patios and 30 amp sites with water. OTA TV with good channel selection. Verizon had good service with limited Sprint coverage. Sites drained well even with 3 days of heavy rain except D4 and 5. Restrooms located at the far ends of 1 mile long main drive. Could launch kayak from back of huge site. Small town had all basic necessities. Train across lake 1-2 times daily otherwise quiet. - bbmidwife
Apr 2015 - $1.00
This park is now closed. Do not be misled by the web site that is still up or the phone number that is still working. The sign for the park has a small "closed" sign affixed to it. - nanzhere
Jan 2015 - $20.00
We had a great experience, stayed several nights. Easy off/on I 40. Close to Arkansas River for great fishing. Free laundromat was a big plus. - Emerald City
Jan 2014 - $20.00
Excellent park for easy access to Ozark, AR and surrounding area. Close to fishing, fuel, food, and stores. - Emerald City
Nov 2016 - $20.00
We were very disappointed in this location. Perhaps another time would have been better. We arrived around the time of an ATV weekend event which created a dusty, dirty environment, trash piles still left, hordes of flies, mice getting into the trailer. The ATV's are loud and can be running any time of the day or night around the campground. Cell service nearly impossible even though we were told it was good. Staff was friendly. - Heiniger
Nov 2013 - $10.00
When we were here in November, there were about a dozen campers, hunters, motorcyclists, ATV'ers, and boaters in the park. The park is a little raw, but incredibly fun. It is well run, has spaces with serious privacy, and great views. Really nice people. - TW Day
Mar 2010 - $17.00
Their prices were the best we could find in the area. The facility was very nice. You can pay extra to access their pool. We enjoyed our stay at this RV park. - Michael Stevens
Sep 2018 - $36.00
Close to the interstate, close to fuel. We stayed as an overnight and would again when in the area. Stayed in our fifth wheel with no problems of entering or leaving. - Jack&Wanda
Apr 2018 - $33.00
Easy access. Really tight sites. We were the only non long term resident at the park. For overnight stay it was adequate. - KMK
Nov 2017 - $32.00
This park has very easy access. Take exit 81 off I-40 and go just a short distance north on AR-7. Park is on the west side across from Dollar General. Gravel roads and sites. Sites are just long enough for rv and vehicle. Sites are level. Sites are pretty close together. Large grassy area by road used for RV storage, but good area to walk dogs. Large fence off leash dog run. Utilities were very good. Cable does not work. There is a long list of cable channels on the welcome brochure, and when you try to load them only about 7 come up, and they are actually off line. No cable TV. If you use a dish, do not park in the west line since it is too close to the trees. Staff is super nice and helpful. If calling call the office from 8 to 5pm. I would stay here again. - okdiver
