Beautiful and peaceful clean place to camp right by the Arkansas River. - Baby Sea Hawk
Jun 2016 - $19.00
This park is an excellent, quiet place to stay on the Arkansas River. There is a boat dock for fishing, a large playground for children, an expansive pavilion for get-togethers, and nature trails to walk and run. This place is away from the hustle and bustle of society. It is a nice, quiet place with not much to do. My husband and I stay here yearly when we are looking for rest and relaxation. There is a dump station on site. - LakePeople
Jun 2016 - $10.00
We love this park. Close by and clean with great views. We felt safe here as the local police patrolled often and the gate is closed after 10, and you are given an access code to enter if needed. This is our go-to spot when we want a quick weekend getaway. Good fishing as well! - RobinS
Oct 2019 - $10.00
This another awesome COE campground. Beautiful lake with beautiful views especially during sunset. - Cmorgan

Wonderful campground. Not far off the interstate. Very peaceful. The bathrooms/showers were being renovated, which I was not made aware when I made the reservation for an overnight stay. Luckily, the RV had both and there was a dump station. There was kindling and firewood at the fireplace, which was very nice. There is quite a lot of space between the sites. - Atta-girl

We booked through recreation.gov. Stayed overnight only as we were traveling through. You check in at the gate, which was manned by friendly staff. A dump station is located near the entrance. There is a large day use area which has a boat launch/dock, picnic areas and playground. The campground is along the Arkansas River and a small lake, very scenic. Sites are asphalt back-in, with grill and fire pit, some had covered picnic tables. Our site was level, water and electric located towards the back and both were good. Some of the sites were sloped and had standing water from rain, but not too bad. The road was fine, lots of trees but no issue with branches. Our Verizon and ATT signals were good and we received over the air tv. The restrooms in the F area are still in renovation so not open. Overall a nice campground though I imagine it gets full in the summer as it is close to Little Rock. Would stay here again. - mohocamper
Nov 2018 - $20.00
I would not stay here again. Very run down park, no electricity at our pedestal, moved to another site and the water connection was full of fire ants. Needed mowing for the fall. There are no restrooms. The sites were very narrow for turning in. The lady checking us in was nice but she only collected money & can do nothing about the condition of the park. - Wolfcamp

I have to question the accuracy of previous positive reviews about this park. We stayed here based on those reviews and I cannot see any correlation between the reviews posted and what we found. By the looks of it, the grass had not been cut in at least a month, probably longer. Broken limbs and debris littered the whole campground. Apparently, a windstorm had struck the area in the past and no effort had been made to remove the storm debris. We did not see any pull-thrus so we took a back-in site near the entrance to make a quick get away in the morning. The mosquitoes about ate me up while disconnecting the tow car and hooking up the electric (30 amp only) and water. When you camp near water you can expect some mosquitoes but the campground could mitigate the situation by keeping the grass cut and as this is a joint city-county park, spray for mosquitoes. When the cover on the electric box was raised a swarm of wasps flew out. Luckily, I was not stung but it indicated to me that the site had not been used in some time. The directional signage in the park as well as signage indicating camp host, left a lot to be desired. The whole campground needs maintenance. Would I stay here again or recommend this campground to someone else? Absolutely NOT. Keep on driving! - Bamabound
Apr 2018 - $18.00
We stayed in the park after our tow vehicle breakdown. The park attendant was super friendly and accommodating. We very in close proximity to the Arkansas River with grassy fields to roam. Great area for walking dogs. Our lot had only 30amp plug and had to use a dog-bone conversion. No sewer hook-up on site and they allowed running the grey water on site. There was a centralized black water dumping point. Not a lot to see in Pine Bluff, but we did enjoy our visit. - HMathis58
Sep 2019 - $26.00
This is a great little park. Nothing fancy, but large level sites and easy to navigate. It's right on the river, with a terrific view of the city and the bridges. It hard to believe that this nice park is so close to downtown. It is fenced and you need a gate code after 5pm. - Moo1966
Sep 2019 - $28.00
Pretty much a parking lot on Arkansas River.Gate is locked at 5 pm but you get code to go in and out. Restrooms hot and tight. Very small laundry room. - Sundevil1
Sep 2019 - $28.00
This is a fenced area near the river just off I 30. The gate closes at 5:00 PM. The pads are level and cement but it is fine gravel and sand around them. There is a grassy area to sit and watch the river or to walk your dog. We stopped for an overnight stay and was on the road early the next day. - tooters74

This 'park' is one of those 'Mobile Home Parks' which also happens to allow RV owners to stay right alongside the permanent trailers. The manager worked very hard maintaining the grounds, and provided a very friendly, professional experience during check-in and throughout our stay. A quiet, clean place during the week, the park turns into an episode of COPS on the weekend. Located within a mile of HWY 67, the close proximity to major travel arteries makes it ideal for those wishing to spend an extended amount of time in the area. Unfortunately, the same easy access for RV owners provides a 'shortcut' for criminals attempting to flee the local police.
Also, be prepared to 'mow your own lawn' as is expected in mobile home parks. We paid a local guy $15.00 to tend to the grass once during the month. The longtime residents were friendly and helpful - each offering advice on food choices, grocery stores and entertainment in the area.
While few choices exist for 'standard' campgrounds in the immediate area, for those looking for short term or overnight stays, we recommend looking elsewhere. However, for those requiring longer term or monthly time frames, the combination of central location and low price might just fit your needs. After all, the increased police presence certainly ensures all your belongings will be there upon your return. - Todd and Heather
May 2007 - $18.00
Sites are only a few feet away, combination mobile home and RV camping. More for long-term use (monthly rates available) - Dave Bishop
Oct 2018 - $25.00
On Hwy 65, south of Pine Bluff, go 1/2 mile north of Jct 65/425/Love's Truck Stop. Next to Metal Mart, tan metal building. In a pine tree grove, some spots are shaded. Safe place to stay, owner lives next to rv park. - Seark
