This park doesn't have all the bells and whistles, but it's a terrific little park. We called to inquire about a spot only 5 minutes beforehand. The lady who is the host met us when we pulled in. She was extremely nice and very helpful. We were having camper problems and she was very accommodating and another man, possibly the owner, came over and tried to help. Wonderful people. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again! - LauraPolk

We stayed here overnight while traveling south. Although we arrived at 9:30PM, the owner was very accommodating. He left his cozy living room (it was a blustery cold night), led us to our spot and made sure we were OK before leaving. The park was clean and seemed to be well maintained. - JBDD
Jun 2012 - $27.00
Wow. Won't be back. $27 for gravel, direct sunlight, and full hook-up. No Laundry. No restrooms. No trees. No wi-fi. No cable. No dog park. Lots of sand spurs in the grass, so dog owners beware. - sandimal
Jan 2019 - $15.00
Stayed here one nite on the way south to charge the batteries and fill the water tanks after being in storage; handy to the interstate and good value for the money. No staff, register and pay on the honor system. Single road needs gravel in the potholes. Pull through and back in sites are fairly level. - Cancamper
May 2018 - $13.00
Definitely not the worst RV park we have stayed in during our 15 years of full time camping but we would not here again. No staff. No directions. One lone building for a single toilet and shower (but clean). Nearly all other occupants were workers in the area. Easily accessible from freeway and thus tempting but we would encourage other campers to find another RV park if possible. - Halina
Apr 2018 - $15.00
This is a good place to stop for overnight. No frills but basics worked. Roads and sites could use some gravel and leveling: but the price is right. Pick a site and put your money in the locked box by the office. We stayed for 6 nights trying to wait out the snow & cold up north. Grizzly was a nice guy: keeping an eye on things during our stay. - CJVJn1Doug
Sep 2014 - $20.00
This is a small RV parking lot right in town. No bathhouse or restrooms. Owner is not on site. Call for owner to meet you at the lot. It was good for a quick overnight stay. - GrandmaLee

We had a fairly level, pull through, FHU site that was satellite friendly. We did not bother with the cable TV but were able to get on the internet for about half an hour before losing the connection. Once again the bathrooms were not clean. This, along with check in at the hotel, "iffy" cable, and unreliable cable TV make the $40 full price way too much. At least they knock off $5 for Good Sam members. Finally, not allowing reservations is another negative. - Jerry S

When you come in off of I55 do NOT turn right at stop light like your GPS will tell you to. Continue straight along the flood wall on your left. This will take you right into their parking. The utilities are great and even at 43 feet we did not have to unhook our toad. Food was delish at the restaurant with a special on Thursday of good prime rib. We will go back when we are in the area. - Popeye1

We were pleasantly surprised by this up-to-date, immaculately groomed and well maintained campground. Most of the sites are pull throughs with a strip of grass separating them. The sites are very close together but the campground rarely fills up so there is usually room between sites. The campground appears very new. Rather than fire rings or grills at the sites, there are two areas with grills and picnic tables. Easy walking distance to the casino on the Mississippi River. They do not take reservations so you just park your RV and go into the casino to register with the site number. Unfortunately, following the GPS in rather than the Lady Luck exit signs on the Interstate took us right through Caruthersville's narrow main street. - NanciRV
