10 RV Parks near Havana, Arkansas
Sep 2016 - $19.00
This place is really nice and secluded. We took our pontoon boat and was able to dock right at our site. During the day it can be really busy when the campground is full. But really was quite at night. We stay here regularly and always love it. - TazTech
Oct 2014 - $9.00
This was a wonderful place to camp overnight on our journey. Nice quiet, peaceful only problem is be prepared to have extra long hoses or extra hoses to reach the water supply areas. We ended up using 3 hoses to get water to our trailer. - Gloria S.
Jul 2013 - $16.00
Hidden jewel located near Mount Magazine State Park which is highest point in Arkansas. Located on Blue Mountain Lake between two National Forests and a very scenic drive. Easy to navigate, swim beach, fishing, boating, and spacious sites. Clean city water. Verizon service excellent. Check in staff was helpful and friendly. Shady sites with covered picnic tables, asphalt pads, and lots of room between sites. We were in non-reservable area and had plenty to choose from on a mid-week July day. Fabulous COE park, well maintained, and a secret worth sharing! - The Grizz
Jul 2012 - $10.00
While we did not stay here, we drove through and talked with the ranger and camp host. Very clean park, well laid out. We have driven by here several times on our way to Mt. Magazine 9 miles away. This is a primitive park, no hook ups at all. They do allow generators during the day, but was told they are very strict for night time hours. We would give it a try in cooler months, not during 100* heat. - hoefler
Jul 2010 - $5.00
The people here at this Forest Service campground are very nice. It is a primitive site, which we like to use occasionally. The restrooms are clean and there is a beautiful swimming beach. The showers were usable but not real clean. Not filthy, but just fair. It is close to Mount Magazine State Park where there is a lot to do. There is also a nice, small fishing lake. We had a waterfront site and were quite comfortable. - rgtx
Aug 2019 - $20.00
We were looking for relief from the summer heat and decided on Mt. Magazine. This is a beautiful park with great views of the surrounding area. And, the summer temperatures are 15-20 degrees cooler than the valley below.
We found the staff to be competent and caring. We mentioned when we checked in that it was our 48th Wedding Anniversary and the next day we found a very nice card signed by the staff with balloons at our site.
We took the short hike to the summit and also the north rim trail with spectacular views.
We will be back. - StJohn
Mar 2019 - $30.00
Sites were nicely spaced out. Nice gravel area & "driveway". Site was a tight pulling in just because of the weird angle. Great lantern hook! Beautiful place! Great area for exploring off trails & on. - Rednight
Feb 2019 - $32.00
Site 5 was 4 inches out of level from side to side. Our 5th wheel self leveled but with the right side tires off the ground. It was very cold and our water froze since the spigot was above ground. - BaldGuy
Jun 2019 - $20.00
This RV park is adjacent to Booneville Police Dept but is private. Level concrete pads, new tall metal cover on a couple of sites, safe, park right next door behind Police dept. water, sewer, electric. Washeteria also right at park. Great value park we use often. - candivan57
Jan 2019 - $20.00
This park is new and is adjacent to the Booneville Police Dept. It is located behind a washeteria. Most sites are concrete slab and are pretty level. Few residents are full timers, but keep the area clean. It is very quiet except for an occasional truck or Police or Ambulance siren. A church bell can be heard during the day which I find very comforting. Crime is not a problem since the RV park is right near the police station. There is a city park behind the PD right next to the RV park which has the Booneville River running thru it. There is a sidewalk around the park and a pavilion. We feel very safe there. Owners are not on-site, but are not far away, so just call the number to make sure a site is available. Walmart, Taco Bell, McDonalds, and a couple of pizza places are just some of the eating places available. No cable, no bathrooms or shower, but the owners are great and the price is pretty good. Many State parks in the area. Scenery getting there on HWY60 is beautiful and Booneville is off the beaten path. Give it a try! - candivan57
Oct 2015 - $15.00
The city took the police department parking lot and added electricity, water, swear & cable to back of each parking space and called it a RV Campground. Sites very close together: open awnings and touch neighbor. Utilities at back of site so need long hoses, especially sewer. Price is right, you are well protected at police department. Great cable service. No reservations and fills up at hunting season. No other advisable campground in area. We stay here visiting family every year. Caution: Big Tree in middle of lots and small posts in front across narrow street...we crushed our motor home bumper backing in trying to skirt tree in back and not seeing post in front which was below eyesight of driver. - Too Tide
Aug 2015 - $10.00
Seven small back in spaces that can handle up to a 40 ft. camper. Sites are fairly level and are concrete but close together. Quiet and secure. Located next to city park and police station. Walking trail, fishing, and picnic area in park. Pet friendly. To secure a site, contact the police dispatcher. They are polite and friendly. This is a dry county, so all alcohol will have to be consumed inside your camper. Magazine Mountain State Park is nearby. Great fishing and hunting. Will definitely stay again! Walmart just a few blocks away. Crosby's automotive located a few miles East of downtown can repair or maintain most motorhomes and trailers. - Gadzilla
Jul 2019 - $16.00
At first glance the site seems nice, beautiful scenery. Lot was paved however very unlevel. There is a train track just a hundred yards away that runs almost every ten minutes....all night long. Absolutely horrible. The lawn was mowed, great but all the clippings are left on the lawn. Tons of it. You couldn't not track it inside your trailer. Our dogs were covered in it. Lastly things were stolen off the outside of our trailer while we were out...we noticed the trailer staying next to us had put up a bunch of lights around his site. Now we know why. Lock everything, padlock anything outside. - Parents of Malamutes
Jun 2013 - $8.00
This was a overnight stop for us. The park is about 3 miles off I-40. Most of the older sites require leveling. The sites on the west area are fairly level. There are several water faucets in the park to fill your tank. Electric power was good. Two trains came by during the night and blew their horns. Local TV is available ( 6 channels). This is our second time stopping for the night and will do it again. I gave it a lower rating because of the conditions of the older restroom facilities. The new shower / toilet facilities are great. - A hitch and hop
Oct 2008 - $15.00
Pretty, little campground on the Arkansas River. 20/30 Amps at the sites. Dump station and water available. Busy railway along side of campground with trains a couple times an hour all day/night. - Capn Kenny and Nancy Sallee
