We camped for a week, and could not have asked for a better park. Campground is maintained daily. Trash picked up at your site, twice daily. Wifi was being upgraded while we were there. Large concrete pad, plus concrete patio with table and grill. Positioning your RV on the pad is very easy, due to the slanted angle of each waterfront site. We would highly recommend this park. We camped at Catherine's Landing in a Fifth Wheel.

A nice quite setting. All roads were paved and accommodating for any size camper. The staff was very friendly and speedy with the check in process. The WiFi was normal campground service. As people come in it's gets slower. We enjoyed the downtown attractions as well as the scenic rides we took. The nearby gardens are beautiful. We camped at Catherine's Landing in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: March, 2019 - $75.00
Overall Rating:

The park is beautiful, with waterfront sights, a pool, walking trails, ziplining, and other activities. The staff was friendly, but seemed pretty busy. The pool was advertised as heated, but during our March stay it was pretty cold. On a scale of 1 to 10, the restrooms were about a 6. They could have been a little cleaner. And the staff did not tell us how to gain access to them. We didn't figure it out until the 2nd day. We loved the walking trails. No road noise! We camped at Catherine's Landing in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

The campground is a bit of a drive from the interstate and one is sent directions with a reservation which should be followed. One travels through residential areas to get to the campground and the route is not intuitive. Once at the campground, the internal roads are paved, wide, and easy to maneuver. The campground is lovely as it is along the Ouachita River, has green space, and is well maintained. We stayed in the newer section of the campground where the pull-through sites are paved, wide, and long. We drive a 45ft MH with a tow and were easily able to navigate the campground. The utilities are placed mid site and worked well. Satellite and Verizon reception good; we did not try OTA or Wi-Fi. The welcome center is very nice and the laundry is clean and well kept. There are lots of activities for kids and families alike and there is a designated dog park, although there are plenty of areas to give the dog a nice walk. Staff were great and we hope to return here in the future. We camped at Catherine's Landing in a Motorhome.

Very nice park, good location, quiet. Big rig friendly, we camped in our Class A, 45' Entegra motorhome with no problem. Some lovely sites near the river, level, concrete pads, clean restrooms, easy to navigate and large turnaround areas. Full hook ups. About 10-12 min into town. Activities for kids/teens are plentiful, large open air pavilion also. Will stay again when in the area. We camped at Catherine's Landing in a Motorhome.

Check with the campground staff for the easiest way to approach the entrance to the park based on your RV size. Approaching from the north was easiest for our rig.

Very happy with our stay. The park is well maintained and very up to date. Our site was a level pull through. Unfortunately the weather was not the best with both rain and some cold and snow all in 4 days. However we still managed to enjoy the stay and visit the city of Hot Springs. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. We would visit again with the hope of some better weather. We camped at Catherine's Landing in a Motorhome.

Stayed for 3 days to see the area. Not a busy time of year so the staff person who registered us was able to move our site. We had booked online and apparently the online service gives the first available which she said is most often a buddy site. We could have managed for 3 days with that but preferred not to share front door space. She let us pick our own site from any that were available. The CG large with two sections. Nice grassy area between sites with a picnic table. We camped at Catherine's Landing in a Motorhome.

We found the campground to be well maintained and the hook up to be what we expected. We were on a pull-thru site and it was level. We did not see any long term residents, but there were several campers coming and going while we were there. We entered on a Wednesday and departed on Sunday. We camped at Catherine's Landing in a Motorhome.

A very nice RV park! The setting is gorgeous with the lake on one side of the park and dense forest surrounding the rest of the park. The sites are a mix of pull through and back in with a set of water front sites along the lake. The sites are concrete for the parking pad and have a picnic table and BBQ available. The park has a ton of amenities including a great pool area, pavilion, dog park, disc golf course, boat rentals, etc. The bathrooms and showers were very clean. The wifi worked decent and the staff was easy to work with at checkin. See our pictures, reviews and updates at our blog at thegilliamsisland. We camped at Catherine's Landing in a Motorhome.

This is our second time to say here and we love it. The park streets are easy to maneuver. The restrooms are spotless. The staff is super friendly and will be happy to help you with directions and maps. The site are nice and large with plenty of room for your tow vehicle. The pool is wonderful and they just added a great water park from small children. The site could have been a bit cleaner, some trash and cigarettes at our site. We camped at Catherine's Landing in a Fifth Wheel.

This park has grown quite a bit since our last visit which is good and bad. The Good is that it's usually a very clean and well laid out place to enjoy the peace and quiet. The bad is that details that were meticulously observed are now being overlooked and rules are non existent. For example, fire ants are everywhere when before I hadn't seen any. Trash is strewn here and there and remains for days. The worst part though is the free for all, no rules seem to be enforced any longer. Cars blocking sites, parking on grass, kids and campers walking in and through sites, yapping dogs left outside unattended (till after 11pm and even as I write this) unenforced quiet hours (kids, TVs, radios, fireside parties) just to name a few. And no I'm not an old complainer, we just enjoy quiet and peaceful places, which this is to be. This place is still beautiful, but it certainly wasn't relaxing or peaceful this visit...and we've been here often. We camped at Catherine's Landing in a Fifth Wheel.

We made a 3-day "peace of mind" reservation but were only able to use one night of our time due to RV repair problems. I notified the management that we were unable to use our other days but I was not able to call in time to get a refund or change of days. This was a little disappointing as I did not have lead time in waiting for parts day by day. However, the resort is very attractive, well-kept, nicely located in the Hot Springs area. We will return if RVing in the area. We camped at Catherine's Landing in a Motorhome.
