The landscaping, architecture and amenities make it a pleasant stay. Utilities are up to spec and conveniently located. My site was a pullthru; mostly level, concrete and long enough for the camper and towed. Roads are also concrete with some maneuvering. Registration was not pleasant and there is no after hours number. Staff keep the grounds manicured. We have spent several nights on different occasions at Catherines, but it isn't to our liking anymore. Campgrounds are rated not from a resort wishlist of services, facilities and luxuries, but how well the campground is maintained, thought out and the condition of existing services and facilities. We camped at Catherine's Landing in a Motorhome.

I would give this park a 9.6 rating. It is really well laid out, and has so many amenities, too many to list here. We were at a RV rally with the DRV group, and the sites were amazing. We were in pull thru site # 71. We camped at Catherine's Landing in a Fifth Wheel.

Very spacious and long sites. Lots of room. Trees and view of the mountains. Park is next to the river and Hot Springs National Park. Most sites are pull through. Easy to navigate with wide roads. Con isn’t to the city. Lots to do in the area. Very quiet. We camped at Catherine's Landing in a Motorhome.

This is more of a resort than a park. However that isn’t a negative. Awesome pool area that accommodates kids of any age. Guest services and camp store are high end and pretty much have whatever you would need. We will be back. We camped at Catherine's Landing in a Travel Trailer.

This is a beautiful park, well run, very clean.... Large long sites. Great views of the River and we would definitely stay here again if in this area. We have a 41' motorhome and a toad. They have a great trash pick up and good paved roads, and concrete sites. The only issue is do not use your GPS coming into the park onto Catherine Heights Rd. This is not good for big rigs. Go to the next exit that actually has the name of the park on the exit. They should include this information on their website, as it would be very helpful. We camped at Catherine's Landing in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We visited the Mountain Tower and the Gardens... But it was SO HOT!! If you are hungry I would recommend eating at Rocky's Corner. Do not judge by the outside, because we passed it up the first day, but finally decided to try it based upon reviews. Pizza was very good.

I have stayed at many RV parks that were listed as "10". This is the the first park I have stayed at that I would call a 10. How much better can it get. Great space between trailers, Green grass everywhere, On the lake, Quiet. While we are retired, we were amazed at the facilites they have. Families can have a great time. They have a splash are and pool. Zip lines, boating. Level concrete pads. SO my next trip east will be to stay there several days to relax. We camped at Catherine's Landing in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a very well maintained park in a quiet location. Check in was easy and speedy. This is a wonderful park along the Ouachita River with lovely sites and views over the river. The pull through sites are paved, wide and long with a table, grill and fire pit, the slanted angle of each site makes it feel more private. All interior roads are paved and big rig access is excellent. The laundry and bathrooms are spotless. 2 Bark Parks will be appreciated by your dog. Trash is collected twice daily, which was a nice touch. Too many amenities to list, but a pool, disc golf, boat rentals etc are just a few of them. There are plenty of unique places to eat, along with some wonderful sightseeing, and there is a Walmart for everyday food shopping. WiFi and cell were fine. We would stay here again, however we did feel that it was a little pricey for what is offered. We camped at Catherine's Landing in a Motorhome.

Expensive park but loaded with features; ziplining, pool, splash pad, pontoon & kayak rentals, cabins & yurt village, disc golf course. Concrete driveways & patio pads, well laid out park with full hookups. Nicely located on Lake Catherine tucked away in woods. Close to downtown Hot Springs & Garvan gardens. We camped at Catherine's Landing in a Travel Trailer.

We camped for a week, and could not have asked for a better park. Campground is maintained daily. Trash picked up at your site, twice daily. Wifi was being upgraded while we were there. Large concrete pad, plus concrete patio with table and grill. Positioning your RV on the pad is very easy, due to the slanted angle of each waterfront site. We would highly recommend this park. We camped at Catherine's Landing in a Fifth Wheel.

A nice quite setting. All roads were paved and accommodating for any size camper. The staff was very friendly and speedy with the check in process. The WiFi was normal campground service. As people come in it's gets slower. We enjoyed the downtown attractions as well as the scenic rides we took. The nearby gardens are beautiful. We camped at Catherine's Landing in a Motorhome.

The park is beautiful, with waterfront sights, a pool, walking trails, ziplining, and other activities. The staff was friendly, but seemed pretty busy. The pool was advertised as heated, but during our March stay it was pretty cold. On a scale of 1 to 10, the restrooms were about a 6. They could have been a little cleaner. And the staff did not tell us how to gain access to them. We didn't figure it out until the 2nd day. We loved the walking trails. No road noise! We camped at Catherine's Landing in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

The campground is a bit of a drive from the interstate and one is sent directions with a reservation which should be followed. One travels through residential areas to get to the campground and the route is not intuitive. Once at the campground, the internal roads are paved, wide, and easy to maneuver. The campground is lovely as it is along the Ouachita River, has green space, and is well maintained. We stayed in the newer section of the campground where the pull-through sites are paved, wide, and long. We drive a 45ft MH with a tow and were easily able to navigate the campground. The utilities are placed mid site and worked well. Satellite and Verizon reception good; we did not try OTA or Wi-Fi. The welcome center is very nice and the laundry is clean and well kept. There are lots of activities for kids and families alike and there is a designated dog park, although there are plenty of areas to give the dog a nice walk. Staff were great and we hope to return here in the future. We camped at Catherine's Landing in a Motorhome.

Very nice park, good location, quiet. Big rig friendly, we camped in our Class A, 45' Entegra motorhome with no problem. Some lovely sites near the river, level, concrete pads, clean restrooms, easy to navigate and large turnaround areas. Full hook ups. About 10-12 min into town. Activities for kids/teens are plentiful, large open air pavilion also. Will stay again when in the area. We camped at Catherine's Landing in a Motorhome.
