This park is a lovely setting about 10 miles east of Hot Springs. As others have noted, it is a no-frills park with all the basics: full hook-ups, long pull throughs, WiFi and cable. The park is very clean. There are some permanent residents but the sites are very neat. The permanent residents appear to be located in the back-in sites along the perimeter while the temporary sites are the long pull-throughs in the center. The sites were wide an allowed ample room for our slides and awnings. We found it to be an ideal location for our 3 days in the Hot Springs area. We camped at Cloud Nine Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Hot Springs National Park Visitor's Center (be careful of the water in the outdoor fountain. It's HOT), the bath houses and promenade. The Garvan Woodland Gardens are outstanding. We did the self-guided walking tour. Very shaded. Try the beers at the National Park in the Superior Bathhouse. This bathhouse was turned into a brewery and they use the water from the springs to make their beer.

We were escorted to our pull-thru site. It was very level with picnic table and full hook-ups. It even has cable available at no extra charge. Nice bathhouse with laundry room between the men's and women's. Laundry room has several pay washer/dryers and a tv to watch while waiting. There is a large clubhouse with a pool table. It has a long porch deck with rocking chairs that overlook the mountains. It was a lovely stay. Highly recommend this place. The only drawback might be if you have children. There is no playground. But it has a great nature trail that is wide and easy to navigate. We took our 3 and 4-year-old grandchildren. They loved walking through the woods looking for dinosaurs. So we didn't miss the playground. Will definitely come back. We camped at Cloud Nine Park in a Motorhome.

Park is not very big but has full hookups and is very quite and clean. We had a pull thru so it was very easy to set up camp. Camp host was very friendly and accommodating. Sites were not very wide but we were able to put our slide-outs out on both sides. It was about half way between Benton and Hot Springs and worked out really well for us for the location. We would stay here again. We camped at Cloud Nine Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is a dying park IMO. Little to no maintenance. Owner is retired and out of state. This place has not received any love in a long time. Decades old trailer used for office burned down while we were here from wiring issues. Cable TV is almost worthless. Wi fi, electric, water and sewer good. Entrance road is long, curvy, and in bad shape. Quiet, peaceful, all adult, and reasonable priced. We camped at Cloud Nine Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Hot Springs IMO follows the same theme as this park. An old decaying area that hasn’t seen any revitalization in decades. We don’t feel the need to come back.

Overall Rating:

Nightly rate based on monthly stay. We camped here for one month while exploring the area. The park is a little bit outside of all the Hot Springs action but the monthly rate cannot be beat and if you don't need to sit on a lake or if you don't need a swimming pool - why pay for it? The park sits at the top of a hill and the road leading up really needs some repairs. The interior roads are a bit narrow and backing our humongous 43-foot fifth wheel into our spot was not fun but once in - we loved it. There are lots of trees and shade as well as a hiking trail. No fenced-in dog park but dedicated space to walk your pups. Nice clubhouse with pool table. Park is very well maintained by two VERY nice ladies. No propane on property but available about 5 miles down the road. Yes - we would stay here again. We camped at Cloud Nine Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Definitely visit the historic downtown Hot Springs and Bath House Row at Hot Springs National Park. While in the downtown area, eat at The Ohio Club for great food with a side of gangster history. Garvan Woodland Gardens is another lovely place to visit for lots of nature and gardens and for $5 you can bring your dogs. Mr. Whiskers serves excellent catfish. Enjoy Hot Springs!

We have been stopping at this park since it opened and it has always been predictably very good. As others have noted, they don't call it Cloud 9 for nothing. It's quite a climb, and the access road winds a few times, but the elevation gets you away from all the road noise. The Wi-fi is OK, but there is a cell tower right beside the park and the Verizon signal is great if you have your own hotspot. Good satellite reception too. It's worth a detour off of I-30! We camped at Cloud Nine Park in a Motorhome.

Stayed 3 nights. Rained all the time but we were glad to be high up with no trees to fall on us or flooding from rivers. Very clean and they had an awesome rec/meeting room with great covered patio overlooking nice scenery. Was a bit of a steep hill to get to the campground, but we had no problems. We camped at Cloud Nine Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Park sits on top of a hill so access is via a paved but winding up hill road. Once there the views are great and parking is easy. Park has quite a few longer term residents but everything was neat and clean. Super nice clubhouse. Cable TV has 15 channels. Wifi is somewhat spotty depending on where you are in the park but Verizon signal is strong if you have your own hot spot. Very quiet park. Site is level but dips down at the front so depending on the length of your unit you may encounter a tire off the ground to be level. We camped at Cloud Nine Park in a Motorhome.

Only stayed one night. We had been scheduled to come in early for a rally but rally was moved and we had mechanical issues so we did not need all the early days. The office was very good and did a full refund. The sites are gravel and close together. Our 50 amp power had a weak breaker but since it was for one night did not go through hassle of reporting, just used one AC. I would stay again. We camped at Cloud Nine Park in a Motorhome.

Stayed a month, rate was 425.00 including electricity. Site was long level pull thru, gravel, about 30 ft wide. Small laundry 3 washers, 2 dryers, 1.50 per machine. Cable limited to 15 channels, most were clear, a few snowy.Internet was good for first half of the month, then very iffy after. Big clubhouse with a library to swap books. Quiet at night, your a few hundred feet above the road. Long steep driveway to enter and exit. Owner was terrific, always trying to help. Small park with no other amenities. Rate was $185/week (Good Sam rate). 10 miles from downtown Hot Springs. Quiet, well-kept park with quite a few permanent residents. As others have mentioned, the driveway is steep and twisting, but safe - we used a semi to pull our 44-foot fifth wheel up the incline with no problem. Just swing wide and go slow. Asphalt road, gravel lots. Spring mornings here are beautiful -- lots of birds, mature trees, and a walking trail. $1.50/load to wash/day - nice commercial machines. No fire pits, but you can bring your own as long as it's covered. Manager/staff are nice and always working hard. We enjoyed our stay and would stop here again.
