This is a great park close to town and central to all things to do in the area. The owner and his kids are super friendly and helpful. The park has RV spots and some smaller cabins. It also has clean - hot - showers, a pool and hot tub, which is nice after a day on the river or hiking through the mountains. The layout is tight but all in all it works. I had a pop up camper which was easy to move an navigate into some of the smaller spots. I have since upgraded to a 32' bumper pull and it is more challenging but it is still maneuverable. If you are planning on staying close to all that Jasper and the surrounding area has to offer this is a great place. We camped at Dogwood Springs Jasper Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

We had stayed at this park several times. It is a family run business and the owners kids help with the chores. In its prime it would have been a nice park. Now it is tired and worn. The roads are rough, but passable. We stayed in #32. It is intended to be 3 spaces, but the owner usually only puts us in it by ourselves. It is gravel with some larger rocks mixed in. You have to make a hard left hand turn on a blind hill to get in to the site. If you are in a class A or a large fifth wheel, they will put you up by the office on the hill. I don't like those sites because you are right on top of your neighbor. One of the cabins is located right where you turn in to the site, but it is not a problem. The whole area we were in is about 120 feet long and 30 feet wide on a terrace. It hasn't been raked in some time and had gum balls all around. The site was dead level, had 50/30 amp service, good water pressure, close sewer connection and 64 channels of cable. The main reason we stay here is the location. It is right in Jasper and close to everything, but quiet and you have a feeling you are further out. The highway noise can be heard, but it is not bad at night. The only shower house is located in the center of the park and it is tired, but clean. There is one male shower and restroom and one female shower and restroom. Normally, there is no wait. There are several full time "campers" there, but they keep to themselves. The whole campground is on only 3 acres, so just about everything is tight. If you are going to Jasper to enjoy the campsite, forget it. It is the convenience of the location is why we use it. There aren't any other full hookup places close unless you go towards Harrison or Gilbert. We haven't stayed there when the pool is in use so I can't comment on that. It appears nice though. The site was very shady. We camped at Dogwood Springs Jasper Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Eat at the Cliff House after you have taken your sunrise pictures from the Scenic Point overlook on Hwy.7. You must eat at the Low Gap Cafe in Low Gap. It is almost gourmet and if you go during the heavy tourist season there is a wait. The Ozark Cafe is very good; breakfast, lunch or dinner. There is a little pizza joint on the town square that makes fresh hand made pizzas with whatever you want on it. If you are in a travel trailer ask to be put down in one of the terraced sites.

This is a small, family owned and operated park that is perfectly located for spending a few days exploring the Buffalo National River area of Arkansas. The family is super nice and accommodating. This is my kind of park: no frills, affordable, tree canopied sites, quiet and within reasonable driving distance to area "attractions". Nothing fancy and there are several full timers living in the park. But, they are located on the outer perimeter (for the most part). The owners obviously care about the park and seem to be working hard to improve the park. We camped at Dogwood Springs Jasper Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Resort? Don't think so. The owners and staff are friendly and helpful. There is a small pool, but this is one odd layout of a park. And tight. Our pull-through was a pull-through after the people camped in front of us left. If we would have planned to leave before them they would have had to move their truck & their canoes. This park is convenient to a lot to do in the area. Quiet at night. I was glad we had Passport America. If in the area again, we would look for another park - it was just too tight to navigate and stay. We camped at Dogwood Springs Jasper Resort in a Motorhome.

Great little spot. Restrooms were rustic with a single men's and women's. Could be tight for large rigs but our class b had no problem. Stayed 2 days because of the pool. Good market around the corner. Will stay again next time through. We camped at Dogwood Springs Jasper Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Excellent RV park if you are into riding motorbikes down empty twistiest and sweepers. At the time we stayed, there was very little activity in the area. The campground was very quiet, shaded and piece-full. The owners were pleasant and helpful although no help was really needed. The pull through site we had was large and easy to get to with our 31' C class towing a 12' trailer. Larger buses may have a little difficulty maneuvering. I will be back. We camped at Dogwood Springs Jasper Resort in a Motorhome.

We spent three nights here during the 2012 Elk Festival. Appears to be a family run business and they were all friendly. The campground has a lot of trees and shade. The bathrooms/showers are a bit dated but clean and produce lots of hot water. Things are a bit 'tight' so if you are in a big rig be cautious. Swimming pool looked well maintained. They do have Wi-Fi but you have to be close to the office. We will definitely stay here next year. We camped at Dogwood Springs Jasper Resort in a Tent Trailer.

Located 18 miles SW of Harrison in the middle of the Ozarks. Mostly designed for small campers but there is 8 pull- through sites large enough to accommodate big rigs. Gravel pads with small grassy area. Sites are separated by trees and bushes. Picnic table and fire rings. Full hook-up with cable TV, but no Wi-Fi. Phone reception is good. Single bathroom and 2 showers were old and in need of cleaning. This could be a nice campground with some improvements and a good scrub down. Small pool that could use some maintenance. Once we were checked-in, never saw staff again and their knowledge of the area was very minimal. I would suggest you go down the road to the National Forest office to gather information about the area. We like to hike so we chose this as a central location to do some hiking in the Ozarks. The recommended trails were mostly within a twenty mile radius. We camped at Dogwood Springs Jasper Resort in a Motorhome.

This park is under new ownership. The owners were super friendly and helpful. They came by as we were setting up and again each day to make sure everything was OK. The bathrooms and showers were clean. They're showing a little age but still clean. The only drawbacks were being close enough to the highway that I could hear traffic noise and not a great playground for my toddler to play. My older kids enjoyed the playground though. There are other sites in the campground that are away from the highway. We didn't use the pool but it was super clean and looked really nice. Decent small place considering this seemed to be the only RV park in the area. Maneuvering our 40ft RV was tough due to trees and tight turns. Only a few spots we could fit in. A bit pricey but very clean pool and restrooms. We camped at Dogwood Springs Jasper Resort in a Motorhome.
