Daisy State Park was a great stay for us. After reading some of the reviews and then upon arrival after viewing our reserved sight, I was concerned that our 40' 5th wheel would not fit. Our site was a back in right on the lake on the little peninsula section of the park. The site did require some back and forth action to get it into the site and more importantly the site, as I noticed others sites did as well, required a fair amount of leveling front to back. (Back being lower than the front) However, after making those adjustments the site was wonderful and we had a great view of the lake. We had plenty of room to park the truck sideways on our site because there was enough room for our back end to extend beyond the actual asphalt. The roads throughout the park, all asphalt, were easy to manage. The sites had lovely, extra large gravel patios with a picnic table, large fire pit, and a bar-b-q pit. We found plenty of places to hike; one short hike inside the park and an ATV trail just outside of the park. We hiked both; the ATV trail we hiked a few of the 31 total miles before turning back and it was a lovely hike into the woods and across creeks. The staff at the visitor's center was extremely helpful with great area information. All of the utilities (water and 30/50 amp electricity) worked well and the park in general is very well maintained. There is a dump station for your convenience. Other than the leveling issue, we could not find anything else to cite on the con side of the pro/cons of this park. We would definitely stay here again. We had both AT&T and Verizon coverage, but the park is too wooded for good satellite service. We camped at Daisy State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The sites are a bit odd some. Some you best be careful with big rig, call the park and make sure your slides will work in certain sites. Our picnic table, grill, firepit are on wrong side of camper. Almost ran into slide a number of times going around. Wood barrier was almost a problem for our sure steps (drop down). I really like the park, nice places to walk, deer roaming around, walnuts crashing your camper top. Shower houses are the cleanest I've seen in a state park and the ladies that work in office are the nicest I've encountered in a state park, very helpful and very very pleasant. The water was not working when we got there but the workers didn't leave into the night past dark until they got it working. The water pressure was less than desirable. But it's camping and there are no perfect parks. The weather was wet off and on, mostly on but we still very much enjoyed our stay at Daisy State Park. Soooo peaceful. We camped at Daisy State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We visited several parks in the area and we were amazed at how clean and well kept the state parks were. I can not find my pictures that we took but we were right next to the boat ramp but was never bothered or heard any loud boats. The Bath house was so clean, and new. The water was super hot which was nice after an active day but be careful with kids. The neighbors were respectful, the fire was amazing, and just looking out at the water and chilling. We camped at Daisy State Park in a Travel Trailer.

They have boat ride type of tours which we did not make but if we had the kids with us would have been fun for everyone. No kids means sleeping in.

We have stayed three times at Daisy. We stopped there on the way to Petit Jean. First was coming and going in May 2015 then again in October 2017 we stayed there on the way back (we stayed at another park on the way up). All three times we enjoyed the little park. The rangers are really nice and helpful, the sites are nice, the hiking trails fine and the lake, Greeson, is beautiful. People who fish will love this park! We camped at Daisy State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Fishing is the main thing. Greeson Lake is beautiful and I have heard the fishing is good. It is out and away from any major towns so it is nice and quiet. We stayed there three time. We were in #94, which was a back in, 94 and 98 were both pull throughs. The place is nice and clean and we will be going again!

We stayed in the B loop, but checked out all the sites in our 4 day stay. B loop seemed to have larger sites. A loop looks like big rigs wouldn't fit in too many sites. The CG is very clean and quiet, beautiful views of Lake Greeson. We camped at Daisy State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Glenwood Country Club nearby, great course. Groceries in Glenwood as well, plus a few eateries, even a hardware store.. If you have a boat, you'd love it here. I am very impressed with Arkansas State Parks, great value.

This is our second time in 4 months to stay here. Very clean and quiet at this time of year. Lots of open spaces. Beautiful lake right below our site. Loved walking our dog along the shoreline. Not any stores close by for groceries. 15 miles to closest food store in Murfreesboro. Will come again. We camped at Daisy State Park in a Tent.

Not much to do at this time of year. Water is too cold to swim in. Boating, fishing, walking the trails will keep you busy. 15 miles to grocery store and eating places. Bring your own groceries.

This is a typical state park with the normal amenities. Electric and water at the site with a centrally located dump station. Nice quiet, clean park. Our pad was concrete and fairly level and had a view of the lake. Antenna TV reception was fair, no cable or WiFi. Had picnic table and fire ring. Did not use public restrooms. Roads are a little tight in places due to trees. But manageable. We stayed only one night as we were just passing through. Will stay here again if back this way. We camped at Daisy State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed in a Class A site, #17. Sites were very, very close together and small. Not much room for chairs or extra equipment. Sound from boats travels on this lake, making boat motors very loud. If we ever come back - which we probably won't - we would get a site further from the lake, since you can't access the lake from the sites anyway. We camped at Daisy State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

There are not many places to eat around this park if you want to eat out. Closest grocery store was Wright's Foods in Glenwood. Glenwood also has a canoe/kayak rental, Caddo River Canoes. We had our own kayaks, and they provided a shuttle service for us. EXCELLENT kayak trip on the Caddo River. Crater of Diamonds park is also close, another good day outing.

Beautiful state park on fingers of land that extend into the lake. Friendly staff. Took a ranger boat tour of the reservoir that was very interesting. Would love to go there on a houseboat. Paved roads. Sites treed and nicely oriented. Restrooms modern and immaculate. Quiet. We camped at Daisy State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall a very nice state park. Spots were close together but with most people out on the water we had our site to ourselves. Had Wi-Fi near an interpretive building so we could check in with family. Staff very nice and helpful. Will return for more camping in the future. We camped at Daisy State Park in a Tent Trailer.

Camped here years ago and the place has gotten even better. Sites have great views and waterfront access which our pup loved. Wi-Fi is limited to a small area by one repeater but we had strong cell phone and wireless computer card access with Verizon. Some sites will not accommodate big rigs but many will. We stayed in the "E" loop which has 50-amp power. Other loops are tents only or 30-amp power. Really friendly and helpful office staff. Beautiful park views although trees make satellite reception spotty we got out a portable dish. We would come back in a flash. We camped at Daisy State Park in a Motorhome.

The use of a state park for camping always has some down falls and this one was fine for the couple nights we spent there. It was close enough to drive to the diamond mines (great family activity). The restrooms were clean although there were some flying insects. It was very dark after the sun went down I would suggest you take a flashlight if using the showers after dark. We would return it was a nice public park. We camped at Daisy State Park in a Truck Camper.

Beautiful setting on Lake Greeson. We stayed in loop b, but loop d had the nicest sites. This is a nice place for a baseecamp when going to Crater of Diamonds State Park. Have your supplies before getting to the park as Kirby is tiny. We camped at Daisy State Park in a Fifth Wheel.
