I come here every spring, we love it! The camp host is the best!, He always takes care of us and keeps an eye on things when we are gone. We thank our camp host! Park is very clean. The road around campground was pea gravel and paved around the other parts of the park areas. Nice fish cleaning station with lighted areas at night. I will definitely return here. - Mike Patterson
Jun 2014 - $30.00
Quiet and shady. Absolutely loved it. The only thing that could be better is sewer hook up. However the park does offer the use of a portable tank. Also offers ice delivery using your ice chest. Wow! - Cpate
Oct 2013 - $15.00
This is a small, extremely well run county campground. Gravel and pine needle sites, heavily shaded sites, reasonably level with picnic tables, fire rings garbage cans and nice charcoal grill/smokers. A few long termers/workers, but nice. A view of the lake and very clean showers and restrooms. Looking forward to coming here again. This is our 2nd visit here. - horsefolk
Jun 2019 - $34.00
We stayed in this campground for one night and were pleasantly surprised. We weren't sure what to expect beforehand, but the friendly staff and the upkeep of the campground put us at ease. We had a back-in site at the front of the park but still had a nice view of the pond in the center. The big private shower rooms are as nice as you'll find. Cable hookups require a separate box with a $10 deposit, so we didn't bother. Wifi signal was not very strong at the front of the park, but for one night we didn't mind. - SportDawgs
Apr 2019 - $40.00
This is a 5 yr old campground...level, gravel, lots with ample room. The sites are situated around a small lake/pond. Nice setting. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The shower rooms are spacious and are adequate for family showering. Very clean. This campground does have a few year round tenants who, we were told, are students at the local college. This a quiet well kept campground. - rdb

This is a decent CG with long pull throughs, Good AT&T Cell & 3 bars of LTE data, Good Dish Sat & 8 OTA channels. Very tight turn getting to the office. My motorhome & dinghy is 63' from front to rear & I made it so it is doable. Just stay as far to the left as you can. There is a nice little pond in the center with some ducks. The entrance road could use some more gravel on it to cut down on the dust, Friendly staff. - Lugnuts
Mar 2018 - $15.00
This is a county park that has the fairgrounds arena and coliseum here. There is also baseball fields and basketball courts. Lots of people milling about and the park is not secured at night, I didn't like that. The price is fantastic, $15.00 for a site with water and electricity. The park consists of an open field with water/electric pedestals scattered around. The power in the pedestals has one each of a 30 and 50 amp plug in. So two units that need 50 amp can't park next to each other. To shower or use the restrooms you have to walk to the office about 100 yards away. They give you a key to the door if you want to use the facilities after they go home at five. Not a lot for me to do at the park, but peaceful here and plenty to do/see in the area. - Mark Ford
Mar 2017 - $15.00
This "RV Park" consists of water & electric hookups scattered around the Hope City Park; also location of the Fair, rodeo arena & ball field. We camped on a weekend; the Park Office was closed, and payment was on the honor system. We didn't see a Host. Rough interior road, fairly level sites on grass, some shade trees. Plenty of room to walk my dogs around the Park. For only $15, it sure beats a Wal-Mart parking lot for an overnight stay. - FranM
Oct 2016 - $15.00
We stayed here overnight to break up our drive home. It's basically fields with rv hookups everywhere. There's a row of long term campers that have sewer but the other sites do not. It's in the city park so it has all the amenities a city park would have. They have a night drop box and they open at 8 in the morning to take payment. The sites were fairy level. Besides the long term campers there were only two other rvs besides us so we picked a spot and just pulled forward until we were level side to side. None of the sites are marked at all besides where the hookups are. But $15 beats $50 for a quick overnight stop just a little ways off the highway and it was really quiet. - LaurenP
Jul 2018 - $20.00
This was an overnight stop for us. Nothing fancy but a great place to rest for the evening. Right off I-30 by 1/2 mile, and while close to the interstate, there was limited road noise. Sites are level with full hookups. The owner is very friendly and helpful. A few RVs they are definitely permanent but a quiet park. - rbhaaland
Nov 2016 - $20.00
Stopped here on our travels from New England back to Texas. There is nothing special about this place except the price and convenience from Interstate 30. $20 for 50AMP, water, and sewer. No frills here; however the interior roads were all paved and nice, the site was paved and level. Easy in/out to Interstate 30. Office worker was very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again if passing thru. - dave398rls
Jan 2016 - $20.00
I only stayed there one night.
They say there is wifi and it is non existent.
Had to use a 30 amp connection as the 50 amp was broken.
Good for an overnight stop if you could not go any further and need power. The small park seems really sketchy and has a handful of run down campers.
I would not stay there again. - rynosback
