The new owners have made all the difference, they are great hosts. Beautiful views of the lake, nice beach and beach amenities including paddle boats etc... Very quiet at night and surrounded by willow trees. Also close to town and a valley full of Canada's best wineries make this a must stop over for anyone traveling through and a perfect vacation. - Lorne S

Close to town and amenities. Right on lake, cool shady sites with table. - flexitdriver

The pluses: Quiet, safe-feeling, lovely trees, very clean, right on Tucelnuit Lake, some pull thrus, close to Oliver, OK Falls, Osoyoos and Penticton, right in the middle of some very good wineries, easy to find, easy in and out for big rigs. The issues: run by a couple who apparently are in love with rules and signs. Parking for tow vehicle or toad car is tight. Owner drives and walks the loop several times a day giving people instructions on whatever she is not satisfied with at the moment. Trees are willows and in serious need of trimming as they scraped our roof and slides in the major winds that come off the lake. Dumpster was over full the entire time we were there and needs to be emptied more often. Very stinky. Recycling is great, but the owner will also correct your sorting if you have the misfortune of seeing her while you are there. Pet rules are really silly and although I'm sure they have had some problems with some owners and their dogs, making a bunch of dumb rules for the 99% of dog owners who are conscientious makes it seem a bit much. That said, it is a very pretty location. - PJMac

Camped in a 35" motorhome. We are self contained so cannot comment on restrooms/shower facilities. Stayed in site #3. Pros - - Level site on grass - Friendly, quiet, - Inexpensive Cons - - When booking was told we would have a site on the river - we were behind the restroom - no view of the river. We booked 9 months in advance of stay. - Gina A

We were situated next to the entrance road but because there are only 12 sites in this park traffic wasn't an issue. All sites are back-in and grass covered. The owners added some sand to the banks of the Simikameen River to create a small beach. There are also chairs and table with a fire pit and wood next to the river. Water pressure is high so they lend you a pressure regulator to use. Washrooms and showers are clean but require a little updating. We even had a doe and her fawn walk through our site. But hey, for 25 bucks you can't get a better overnight spot. - Fun finders

This is a nice park by the river, open April through October. All RV sites have water and electricity (dump station) and are grass covered with a gravel access road. Internet worked well but there’s no over-the-air or cable TV. Manager/owners are friendly and take good care of the place. - JimK
