Pros: We found the setting of this campground very nice as it's located amongst some large trees. Close proximity to Othello tunnels. Cons: We were promised a large, private site. What we got was a shared site that was very difficult to get our 30 foot travel trailer into (Luckily our neighbour was pleasant). We had to back it uphill between the trees. The people in the office even told us the incorrect direction to access our site causing us to circle around the campground. We were unimpressed with the site we were given and the 15 amp service. The way we were forced to back our trailer up made access to the sewer connection impossible. Young people 2 sites over partied loudly until past midnight. Management did nothing despite stating that quiet time was at 10:00 and loud parties were not allowed at anytime. They did not enforce this at all. In fact, there was a complete lack of presence of management. They did not monitor or patrol the campground at all. Garbage cans were overflowing. Overall, this campground was very expensive and noisy with kids running wild everywhere. We will not be back and suggest you look elsewhere for somewhere to stay. We camped at Coquihalla Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

The park is pretty, like being in a forest, and probably good if you are in a tent or RV around 20 feet long. There were few spaces available to us at 30 feet long. The electrical grid was inadequate. We had a 30 amp site, but could not run air conditioner or even microwave without the generator. Another guest told me they had the ONLY 50 amp site. Our other problem was the dust - even the trees were dirty. Interior roads and sites were all dirt, no gravel or anything. The laundry was very small - 2 each washers and dryers. In the comfort station by us, all the women's (pay) showers were out of order. There were several play areas for children and safe bicycle riding. We camped at Coquihalla Campground in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Overall a nice campground close to the city but you feel like your out. Fairly large sites, forested some riverfront. We stayed on a riverfront site, no hookups. Washrooms and showers available and very busy, not always clean but people often don't care and leave the mess behind. RCMP came through the site warning campers to put away any valuables at night as there has been a rash of thefts. This left an overall uneasy feeling among our group, but this could happen anywhere. The river was high so not much of a beach area but it was a beautiful area with a convenient location. Sani station available for Rvs $5.00 dumping fee. Staff are courteous and friendly, we would stay again. We camped at Coquihalla Campground in a Truck Camper.

Really enjoyed our stay here. As someone mentioned before, the mosquitoes were pretty bad and the trains do go by quite often but they are down the river so we didn't really hear them from where we were staying. And what are they supposed to do about the mosquito population, right? Clean showers and bathrooms, we used the new shower building and it was divine, $1.00 for about 7 minutes of hot water. Nice old growth trees, lots of shade but still enough access to the sun! Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Coquihalla Campground in a Tent.

We only stayed 1 night at this site and were happy it was not more. The showers were cold; $1.00 for 2 minutes and tons of mosquitoes everywhere. Out of 8 RV parks we stayed at this park was the only one that charged a reservation fee of $5.71, only revealed when we signed in. Plus when we booked with credit card weeks in advance we were billed right away. Charge for Wi-Fi was $3.00 per day. There are no trash cans through out the Park, you are expected to walk it to the main dumpster near the entrance. Trains honking in the distance about every hour was night and day. On a plus side it is a mature treed park with lots of shade and very little direct sun. Would we stay at this RV park again? No. We camped at Coquihalla Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

Overall, a very pleasant experience camping here. The campsite roads could be a little dusty on hot summer days and the trains (wooowooowooo) could be heard passing by all day and night. (Bring your ear plugs.) The 2010 review of this campsite is equally accurate in 2012. We camped at Coquihalla Campground in a Tent Trailer.

One of the best parks in the Fraser Valley public or private. It didn't get a 10 because it isn't 5 star fancy. That being said, what more can you ask for than well spaced level gravel sites in a mature forest setting on a river with what ever level of site services you require. The restroom/showers were clean and even included a condom dispenser. Sanitary dump, store and laundry facilities were above average. The staff were very professional and provided 24hr. security and the entrance is closed at 11:00 PM. We camped at Coquihalla Campground in a Travel Trailer.
