Overall Rating:

We have spent many days camping last year and a few days this year. Edge Bar Campground is a very nice, mostly clean and quiet campground. There are no services except for the staff who are very friendly. Gravel Pads and roads. The lots can accommodate large RVs but no pull-through sites and not all sites are large. We have a 25 ft trailer and we only thought we couldn't fit into one spot. When sunny during the summer months can get a little warm as you are open and right on the river, your own little fishing spot. We enjoy the tranquility of watching the tug boats go by and listen for the train passing on the other side of the river. A very nice place to relax and unwind. We camped at Derby Reach Regional Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Check out Fort Langley shops. If you like hiking or biking you could walk the Trans Canada Trail to Fort Langley, and don't forget to have an ice cream cone. Fishing, right off your lot, hiking, biking and boat watching on the river.

Date of Stay: April, 2014 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

A small non-hookup campground located on the banks of the Fraser River near Ft. Langley, BC. It does not accept reservations and is very popular during the salmon fishing season. The campsite is clean and well-maintained - including the pit toilets. There are lots of walking and biking trails nearby including a large, off-leash area for dogs. Sites are quite large with picnic tables and fire pits and are situated right beside the Fraser River. The historic town of Ft. Langley is about 15 minutes away by car. Across the Fraser River, trains do run but while you can hear them, they are not loud or annoying. There is also a considerable amount of "river traffic" going up and down the Fraser - mainly tugboats towing barges and logs. Seniors get a small discount and the park is open from March to October. We camped at Derby Reach Regional Park in a Fifth Wheel.
