Lovely provincial park. Well worth the lack of services because you can walk & enjoy the hot springs as often as you like. The sites were large & level, very private. Lots of potable & non-potable water taps through out the grounds. We camped at Liard River Hot Springs Provincial Park in a Motorhome.

We were looking for a place to stay that would be convenient to visit Liard Hot Springs. We're self-contained and don't use the facilities. We stayed on a Monday night in Late May in our 8 meter (25 foot) MH. This is a very nice CG situated at the Liard Hot Springs. There are over 50 sites arrayed around 2 loops. The sites are relatively large, separated by trees for privacy and shade. Sites are gravel and most need some leveling. There are no hookups. There is potable water to fill an RV tank. There's no dump station. There's no cell coverage. We arrived at noon and the CG was half full. It was nearly full by the end of the day. There's overflow camping nearby. We camped at Liard River Hot Springs Provincial Park in a Motorhome.

Had made a reservation for our mid-May date and glad we did as the campground was very full. No hookups. Sites are generous with a nice picnic table and trees. Playground. Free access to hot springs, but it's a pretty good walk there. Springs have a nice deck, steps into the springs, changing room and cubbies. No worthwhile eating places nearby, so plan ahead. We camped at Liard River Hot Springs Provincial Park in a Motorhome.

The campground is dry camping only with outhouses. All sites are back-in. The CG is extremely popular for the hot springs. Per their website 21 of the 53 campsites can be reserved. I was able to reserve a site that my 30 foot 5W would fit in but the back of the site was 12 inches lower than the front. If you don't have a reservation you will have to be at the gate before noon with a small RV and you might get a site. This CG fills up everyday. There is an overflow parking lot across the road. We camped at Liard River Hot Springs Provincial Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Impressively maintained camp sites with a finely raked area. No services, but it was level and accessible. But of course, you come here for the hot springs, the best that we have seen on our trip. A "must stop" on the Alaska Highway. We camped at Liard River Hot Springs Provincial Park in a Motorhome.

Take the 700 meter boardwalk to the hot springs and just relax. Beautiful wooded setting. We have seen 3 hot springs on this route and this is by far the very best.

The RV park was fine - decent wooded sites with enough space. Dry camping only. What makes this park is the hot springs. You can use the hot springs for free if you are camping there, otherwise there is a $5.00 per person fee. The hot springs were fabulous! We would definitely stay here again. Hotsprings really good. Well put together for a park. Family friendly. Hotsprings are the reason to go here. Worth the walk (not far at all) open 24 hrs. Some people go down in the dark. Moose and bears seen on our walk in.

This is one campground you should make reservations at or be there before early afternoon as it fills up every day in the summer, we were told. There is a big overflow parking lot across the street if it is full, though (same price). The campground has a small entrance, but seems to handles all size rigs. Charge of $26 CAD includes access to the hot springs. The campground is super clean and well-maintained. All camp sites are back-in. The people at check-in are helpful and friendly. This is dry camping only. There is water connection near the entrance but it is in a bad place to fill your rig as you will be blocking traffic since the spigot sits right next to the exit yet you will need to get it going in as it is on the wrong side when going out. The spaces are generally large, gravel and fairly level. Roads were dusty. Some spaces are near the Alaska Highway, but the traffic seems to stop about sundown. There is no Wi-Fi and AT&T cell service was nonexistent. We camped at Liard River Hot Springs Provincial Park in a Motorhome.

It's all about the Hot Springs! If you walk about 3/4 mile from your campsite you will find the hot springs. There are restrooms above the hot springs pool but no facilities at the springs except men and women changing rooms and open storage for your clothes.

This is a lovely wooded unserviced provincial park, with water from faucets, and staff are on site. Each of the 50 back-in sites has a picnic table and fire pit, and most offer reasonable privacy. Campers get free admission to the Hot Springs. There is a day use area with tables and fire rings, and a cute self-serve Information Centre. $20 per night. Overflow parking across the highway is an open field and costs the same as at the campground. We camped at Liard River Hot Springs Provincial Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The Liard Hot Springs were wonderful! We were afraid that it would be too hot, but it was very pleasant. It was an easy walk on the boardwalk to the springs and the hanging garden.

This is a no services boondocking park. Still it is probably the best maintained park We've been in. Staff was always doing something. Our site had been raked before we got there. Everyone comes for the hot springs. WOW they are great. Not only for the hot springs experience but for the facility itself. The boardwalk is solid and an easy walk from the RV park. Some of the staff were marking boards to be replaced. I didn't think most of them needed replacing but they were changing them. The hanging gardens above the hotsprings are worth the short hike up. We will plan our future trips around staying at this Park. We camped at Liard River Hot Springs Provincial Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a nice provincial park with the added bonus of the wonderful hot springs. We made reservations several days in advance so we were able to get a spot. Without reservations one might not be so lucky especially on the weekend. Our gravel site was spacious and absolutely level. As stated in earlier reviews, the walk to the spring was reasonably short and not strenuous in the least. I was slightly disappointed in the traffic noise. Perhaps in a different part of the campground it wouldn't have been quite so noticeable. We would stay here again. We camped at Liard River Hot Springs Provincial Park in a Travel Trailer.

Park is adjacent to the hot springs and camping includes access to springs. Camp spaces are mostly back-in, we detached tow vehicle although there are a few pull-throughs. Free firewood (feature of Canadian provincial parks) and fire pits and picnic tables. Sites are widely spaced with trees between and level. Easy walk to springs along the boardwalk. Barrel style fire pits restrict heat output. We camped at Liard River Hot Springs Provincial Park in a Motorhome.

You will love the hot springs here. If you walk about 1/2 mile along a boardwalk from the day use area you will find the hot springs. Stop by the restroom before walking in as there are no facilities at the springs except men and women changing rooms and open storage for your clothes.  Bathing suits are required.

To the right as you arrive, where the springs bubble out of the ground it is very hot, hotter than is comfortable to me. To the left below the small waterfall it is warm instead of hot and more to my liking. Unless you have tough feet, beach shoes of some sort are suggested as the pebbles are hard on the feet and the pool ranges from knee to waist deep. As you sink into the water your troubles seem to melt away. You are at once surrounded by nature and confronted by the warm mineral water. We are now looking for more hot springs as we travel.

As for the campground itself, it has a small entrance, but handles 40 Ft motorhomes with a tow vehicle easily. Charge of $26 included access to the hot springs. All the sites are back-in except for the overflow parking across the road. The people at check in are helpful and friendly. There is a day use area where overnight parking is prohibited. Firewood is plentiful if you have an ax. This is dry camping only, no hookups at any site. There is water connection near the entrance; If you need water, get it going in as it is on the wrong side when going out. The spaces are generally large, gravel and level. Roads were dusty. Some spaces are near the Alaskan Highway, but the traffic seems to stop about sundown. There is no WiFI, no Phone, and no TV. You are out with nature. If you must have your Internet fix or die, you may want to stay elsewhere. But at least stop at the day use area ($5 per person or $10 per vehicle) and get in the hot springs. It's wonderful. We camped at Liard River Hot Springs Provincial Park in a Motorhome.

Posted rate is in Canadian Dollars and includes access to the hot springs. We stayed here on the way up to Alaska and on the way back. Coming up the park was full and we had to stay in the overflow parking inside the park. No discount for overflow, only a shorter walk to the hot springs. The boardwalk is about ten minutes one way and you might very well see a moose in the marshes (we did). To avoid the crowds go in the early morning. Staff was very friendly and busy to keep everything clean. Very quiet at night. Threaded water spigot to fill the tanks at the entrance.
On the way back it was less busy and we got a regular site in the woods. Level and clean. Picnic table and a fire ring. Very good privacy, we could hardly see any neighbors. We will be back. We camped at Liard River Hot Springs Provincial Park in a Truck Camper.
