Camped with my family here, a very nice campsite. Beautiful lakeside spot. It was a little tight backing in with our fifth wheel, there is not a lot of space between lots but all in all a great camp ground. We camped at McLeese Lake Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Please note that McLeese Lake Resort is no longer 60 sites as it was in 2011. It is now only the hotel portion as well as the campground portion that is RIGHT BELOW the highway. Note that there are NO REFUNDS so I advise you to go and look at the site your are given before paying. The sites are so small that if you have a push out you will not be able to open your awning. If you were to try and have a campfire you would have to move your picnic table off your site and risk setting fire to you trailer as the sites are that tight. Also if you are pre-booking it should be noted that you are charged the amount including and then GST is added again on to that amount so you are being overcharged. Also when I paid I was overcharged for my 5 night stay by approximately $9 with no explanation as to where that amount came from. The water in the bathrooms smells like sulphur which isn't nice when you are having a shower. The shower that you are having in the dark, I might add, because the lighting is very poor.

If you actually wish to sleep while you are at McLeese Lake (which is an awesome lake) do yourself a favor and camp next door (in what used to also be part of the resort but is ran by other people now)... much better service, sites. Just all around better. We camped at McLeese Lake Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

Pulled off highway to this beautiful resort. We had a choice between being in a more "provincial park" like setting where spaces were large and roomy or out front hwy side on the lake. Both beautiful sides of the resort. Staff were accommodating and easy to deal with. We camped at McLeese Lake Resort in a Truck Camper.

Small and tight spaces. Not really big-rig accommodating. However, situated on a beautiful lake. We camped at McLeese Lake Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Nice setting next to a lake, though it was too cold in August to swim. Pull through sites have small trees between them, with average width. Narrow driveway for exit. Power pole is kind of strange though. 50amp service with a 30 amp dogbone secured to it by a chain. Can't use direct 50amp power. Only through the 30 amp dogbone. Good WiFi and water pressure. Was VERY CLOSE to the highway. We camped at McLeese Lake Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This was a nice little park next to McLeese lake. We stayed here in early spring and it was enjoyable. Might be hectic in the heat of summer. We camped at McLeese Lake Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
